- YES, I manged to finish the full weathering of the tamiya 1/35 Panzer IV.
Hi everyone! There has been some time since the video. Luckily this time I can bring you some fresh content out from the workbench. In the previous videos we talked about airbrush painting and weathering, how to use oil colors for applying color variety and definition, even I showed how I made some rusty effects for the spare track links and how I created mud for the tracks and wheels.
Today everything comes to an end!
But that´s not all, beacuse there is so much work to complete.
In this video I will show you how to create mud effects for your scale models, also how to apply dirt effects and some crispy acrylic detailing.
By the end of this video, you'll have the knowledge and confidence to take your tank model tracks to the next level. Get ready to impress fellow modelers and enthusiasts with your attention to detail and realism.

Outstanding work my friend. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process of this project. I learned many new techniques from watching and having you explain what you were doing. I hope this is not the last time we are going to hear from you, and I'm looking forward to your next project. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Azzy
Thanks for your comment.
No, it won't be my last time here in UA-cam, at least I hope. I'm already working in the following content.
It has been a long way until this model was finished, but completely worth it.
Even you will see the model in future in the future again.
Cheers
Beautiful work. No need to worry about the wood grain in 1/35 scale.
Thanks,
Yes, depending of the wood effect I usually pre texture it
But in this case I thought it would be a good solution to paint some chips
love this style Great work
Thanks for your comment! Panzer grey is always a good foundation to work with
The only channel that finally explains REALLY well every movement, i liked it a lot man, it really helps to learn this techniques, keep modeling 🥂
Thanks for your comment. I try to show every step on my models, but you know, weathering is sometimes very chaotic. It's good to have feedback, so I will keep working in that way.
Really enjoyed this process and waited each week for your progress. A great series showing what you can do with a Panzer Grey vehicle.
Thank you for sharing and looking forward to more from you. Very well done Sir.
Super thanks for your comment.
Really appreciated for your words.
Vehicles painted with only 1 camouflage color are easier to weather, specially those ones with darker basecoats because it super easy to create contrast using dust colors.
And yes, already working in the next video.
im your fan! keep goingggg
i will try this method on my tiger!
Super thanks! 🤙🏼
Super happy if you want to try the techniques with your models,
Cheers
Wow! Fabulous job!
Thanks for the comment!
Hope you find it useful
Amazing work! Thanks
Thanks for your comment
Super glad you like it!
Very very much enjoy the finished model!
Thanks!
To be honest I'm really happy about how it turned out. Tamiya kits are great and the chosen camouflage makes weathering easier
Cheers
Awesome techniques for detailing! 👍
Thanks
These techniques are very effective in my opinion, but I think they are simple enough to used them in a variety of modeling subjects.
Great work my man! Go on
Thanks for your comment.
I'm currently working in the next video 💪🏻

Very nicely done my friend 👍
Thank you so much for your comment.
Tamiya models are very grateful for painting. And I'm happy with the result
Cheers
Excellent looking panzer IV, great work! 👏👏👏
I have the same kit but have put off painting it as I haven’t been confident enough tackling a German Grey tank and making it look convincing. Your tank looks very realistic so I’m going to model mine as much on yours as I can to improve my knowledge and skills with painting early war Panzers. Just found your channel and subscribed. 👍
Thank you so much for your comment.
These kind of messages really push and help me for creating more videos. Super happy if you find the videos useful for you. If you have any doubts with the painting process you can ask it in a comment. Good luck with your model!
Nice and good result on this! I love how you have realized the variatons. So I will Try with my 1/72 kit
Thank you so much for your comment!
It has taken so many months to finish the model but I'm really about how it turned out.
Good luck with that 1/72 model!
@@notjustpanzer thank you. I image, I am spending months for my 1/72 little 3D pz II.
@@lmmodellismomilitare 3D? Which brand?

.....AMAZING......😳
Thanks!
Glad you like it
Hope it were useful for you
Nice...but sick...!!!
Thanks!
I'm happy how it turned out, I hope some of the techniques showed were useful for you.
Cheers
Can i use pva glue instead of this white gel tk make mud
I guess it might work, but I'm not completely sure about the finish when dry. White gel is Matt acrylic gel.
Did you apply the Tamiya cement to painted pieces? I thought it had to be used on bare plastic.
Hi, well extra thin cement works great with unpainted parts. But also in my opinion it's the best choice for gluing wheels and running gear parts, using small amounts and applying it carefully it does the job perfectly.
Cheers
I'm enjoying the videos but I can't figure out where the 1st step is for this tank. I'm trying to follow along and do it step by step
Thanks for your words! This is the first Panzer IV video ua-cam.com/video/yTYy5jEsfvo/v-deo.html, it's about airbrushing the panzer grey colour. Unfortunately there are no assembly videos about this model.
I really like you were following these steps for painting your model, looking forward to hear from your results!
