I love the Hemitite Burnt Scarlet Genuine with French Ultramarine. My eye was instantly drawn to it. Many gorgeous mixes. I don’t think I have Cobalt Teal, which is surprising, since I have almost everything else! Going to treat myself.
Oh I highly recommend getting cobalt Teal (or turquoise, depends on the brand, PG50), you'll love it! If you prefer a slightly more muted but still gorgeous version, most brand also have such a thing, called cobalt turquoise or turquoise green, using PB36. Have fun!
Thanks for sharing all these lovely swatches, I am so drawn to granulating colors and am definitely inspired to do some experimenting 🤓. I love potters pink, I have the Winsor Newton versions but I am eager to try other brands now too.
Thanks for another great video! Yes, Schmincke is really expensive here, and the super granulating colors are intriguing, so this video is much appreciated. I can’t wait to see you paint with all these new mixes!
I also use little hearts to note where I love a particular mix! ☺️ And the W&N pan version of Potter's Pink is great! I'd wager its a similar situation as with their Cobalt Violet. So for W&N the safest bet is probably to choose the pan versions of the colours that can be a bit tricky to formulate. I just put some water under it and stick it in my palettes with slanted wells ☺️
Thanks so much for showing us these gorgeous mixes! I’ve been waiting for my Irit version of Schmincke granulating colors. I love the tundra pink, tundra orange, gold ochre with manganese violet. I hope the cobalt magenta works well for you. I have lots of these colors or close enough to have fun watching again and mixing with you. I bought your lovely 20 well porcelain palette while watching this. Really looking forward to mixing and painting with you. ✊🏾💕
This is really helpful for those of us who are vegan. I battle with my conscience every day against buying the Schmincke sets. Thankfully, their liquid charcoal is free and clear of animal products and is lovely.
Great fun video to watch with my morning coffee. I have already tried making glacier green here at home, it's such an interesting mix. I'll be experimenting more with your suggestions I think!
Hello Irit…thank you for this video….very interesting. I’m using your stamp set to help me identify paints I want in my ultimate travel palette (in reality though, it will never be perfect!🤣) and this video has given me some great ideas. I love DS genuine paints but find them so hard to activate when dried in pans 😢. I find W&N potters pink the best. But I’m not sure if it’s vegan? Take care
Now that you have found one colour that you hearted, how would you mix enough of that paint without deviating too much to the left or right in your chart? I always find it the hardest to replicate a colour exactly as I liked it on a dried swatch, even if I know which colours were used to mix it. Getting the percentage right is so tricky. By the way, bought that ceramic palette from you and looking forward to getting my hands on it 🥰
Yeah that's always a challenge, that's why many times if I really like a mixture I buy a tune of it... If not possible one can mix the colors in larger amounts in a pan and test as you mix to see the ratio is right. Or mix for each painting carefully. The palette is lovely, hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
I love French ultramarine from Schmicke. The granulation is incredible. I have from Rembrandt too but it granulate not so intense
I see you like version four the most. Which I myself agree with you.
Theses are my most favourite videos you do , I love the mixing magic , thank you so much ❤️
Glad you like them!
Thank you. They do not sell these here so this is how I will have to go.
sadly rembrandt doesn't have potter's pink. i wish they did too ~ my fave here was your glacier green :D thank you for sharing these!
Thanks for watching! Such a pity they don't have it :(
I just bought ten colors. Now I have a new list to get.
Have fun playing!

@@iritlandgraf I ended up getting Cobalt Teal! Early Christmas present to myself.☺
Whoop! Enjoy!!

Super video! Enjoyed seeing all the possible combinations.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I used the Mars black and Mars brown to add granulation to certain colors and it worked well. Maimeri has them both and they are very granulating.
Thanks for sharing Jennie!
I don't think I have any granulating colours, will have to have a look because I really like the look of them

Thanks for sharing Hannah! Yup, definitely the pans are safer with these super dry pigments!
@@iritlandgraf Thanks for an inspiring video! It's so satisfying to see all the beautiful mixes! 🥰
Glad you enjoyed! I always discover new mixes when I make these videos, so it's a win win for everyone!
Great video. For us beginners, can you tell us how you use these pigments when you’re painting? Thank you so much.
glad you enjoyed! I'm not sure what you mean, I mostly paint abstract so I just pick colors I love :)
fun stuff.. thanks..
Glad you enjoyed it

Absolutely! I feel the same way!

Hi Jeanette! Nope, sadly it's not vegan. It's an old tube I have. Once I'm out of it I will try Maimeri Blu, I saw they have it too.

On the smaller palette - will half pans fit in the wells?
They do fit, but personally I think this palette is most suited to poured tube paint as there is no way to secure the half pans except gluing them...
