Single after many years of marriage to someone who was truly cruel and mean to me as a person and woman. Really, learning my own Godly purpose, being whole, and learning calm independence has been a great teacher over the last 6 months. My relationship w/ God is what will truly matter. No man, person or relationship is going to create joy and happiness. I have to be clear on my own purpose God has for me. That will be the only way. It’s intentional living. Whole and virtuous living. It’s been very good for me to obtain my own freedom and happiness, alone and in God. ❤❤
I used to workout 4-5 a week, I was in a really bad that broke my back in two places. Besides being able to sit up right and walk again…I was in constant severe pain…I finally worked my way up to 3-4 days in the gym then Covid came…gym closed. I lost my muscle tone, my figure and being later in age…I went from shapely to blah because to workout is pain on top of a rigorous work schedule. I felt horrible seeing myself so different in the mirror. I ended up get cosmetic surgery. I don’t care what anyone say about cosmetic surgery….it’s been around forever to help ppl feel better about themselves. My confidence increase so much by looking put together in my clothes. I started back at the gym…I started eating once a day at 5pm to 7pm and I look better than ever. I studied the cosmetics I wanted for 3yrs before because I was struggling. Lipo helped my back pain tremendously. I barely have pain and without the fluff I’m more flexible. To each their own. I’m able to manage myself and lifestyle well, my financial goals are coming along. My focus is to have me together regardless if I marry. It’s my responsibility. ❤ Thank you!🙏🏽

I want a tummy tuck due to having children. I lost the weight but whats left is the skin. So I often wonder how are women getting these procedures. I'm not where I need to be financially so I haven't done anything yet.

I get to shut the noise when I go out for my daily walks, but struggling to do so at home: no tv, no youtube, just silence and meditation. I have known men who claim that women are privileged. When I asked one of them why he thought this, he gave a few reasons, such as women don't have to fight in war etc. Then he added - "and women are happy". He was one of those shallow yet numerous people who equated happiness with therefore being privileged. This video tells it as it is - happiness doesn't bear a great deal of relationship with being privileged in life, it's something which wells up from within in those who do their own inner homework.

I work in healthcare here in Atlanta. I have noticed that my white, asian, indian, African counterparts are all successfully married while less than 1 handful of black women are single. Why are we all single? Black doctors, nurses, surgeons, techs, janitors are all single. Why are only black women the ones not being properly courted and getting married. This is my observation. Why is it this way in black America culture?
Quick question, when you say "successfully married" do you actually know if they are happy? I also work in healthcare and most of the doctors (all races) I know show "good face" but they are abusive, addicts, in debt, cheaters etc. in their relationships. Just my observation.

I am 52 African, (American )you don't know what goes on behind the closed doors. Culturally African like to keep up with the Joneses. Because they stayed married doesn't mean they are happy. Stayed in an unhappy Marriage for 30 years because of the culture. Had to exit for my mental health.

The Joy of the Lord is my strength. My value is based on Whom I belong to, and that is King Jesus. He is the One who makes my way perfect and keeps me "happy". I take care of myself because it is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I ask God to give me the self-discipline to avoid snacking and sweets, and He helps me, so I can have the energy to occupy effectively. That's my two cents. Praise God!
Pastor is right, my last relationship I depended on my ex husband financially…it was so hard to be my feminine self. He made a lot of money, but I felt so poor. He wanted to give so little to me, and he wanted me to stay home. Eventually I went against his will to go work, and took my power back. I am a successful woman now, happily divorced and dating a wonderful man who is happy to provide for me even when he doesn’t have to. It brings comfort to him to know I can take care of myself if I need to, but he really does take care of me. Plus my career makes me feel so fulfilled and happy, I wish the same for you 🙏🏼🙏🏼

This is so so valid!!! The hardest for me is the last one...i know it is essential, but it's hard for me to be in total silence at home. I get to shut the noise when I go out for my daily walks, but struggling to do so at home: no tv, no youtube, just silence and meditation. I shall definitely try harder to achieve that level of consciousness.

I have known men who claim that women are privileged. When I asked one of them why he thought this, he gave a few reasons, such as women don't have to fight in war etc. Then he added - "and women are happy". He was one of those shallow yet numerous people who equated happiness with therefore being privileged. This video tells it as it is - happiness doesn't bear a great deal of relationship with being privileged in life, it's something which wells up from within in those who do their own inner homework.

RC thank you for your encouraging talks...a lot of the time I listen to other preachers that make me feel not entitled to think of self because we need to be grateful for Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross so in other words think of yourself as nothing because we’re sinful creatures..I struggle with self worth as it is had a challenging past divorced now 8 years and still at a cross road of where to go the church has too many comfortable older men (I’m in my 50’s) that prefer to stay single no dates but 4 in the past 7 years it can be discouraging 🥺 I’m working on my journey with God it’s been over 30 years thank you ☺️ please keep sharing

I work in healthcare here in Atlanta. I have noticed that my white, asian, indian, African counterparts are all successfully married while less than 1 handful of black women are single. Why are we all single? Black doctors, nurses, surgeons, techs, janitors are all single. Why are only black women the ones not being properly courted and getting married. This is my observation. Why is it this way in black America culture?
Quick question, when you say "successfully married" do you actually know if they are happy? I also work in healthcare and most of the doctors (all races) I know show "good face" but they are abusive, addicts, in debt, cheaters etc. in their relationships. Just my observation.

I am 52 African, (American )you don't know what goes on behind the closed doors. Culturally African like to keep up with the Joneses. Because they stayed married doesn't mean they are happy. Stayed in an unhappy Marriage for 30 years because of the culture. Had to exit for my mental health.
The best way to answer this question is for you to begin a journey. Start within to address any traumas you may harbor and then do some researching on the men you’ve fallen for and their pathology. ✨ Hope this helps sis. *wink wink*

The Joy of the Lord is my strength. My value is based on Whom I belong to, and that is King Jesus. He is the One who makes my way perfect and keeps me "happy". I take care of myself because it is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I ask God to give me the self-discipline to avoid snacking and sweets, and He helps me, so I can have the energy to occupy effectively. That's my two cents. Praise God!
Pastor is right, my last relationship I depended on my ex husband financially…it was so hard to be my feminine self. He made a lot of money, but I felt so poor. He wanted to give so little to me, and he wanted me to stay home. Eventually I went against his will to go work, and took my power back. I am a successful woman now, happily divorced and dating a wonderful man who is happy to provide for me even when he doesn’t have to. It brings comfort to him to know I can take care of myself if I need to, but he really does take care of me. Plus my career makes me feel so fulfilled and happy, I wish the same for you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
