    Ok, I'm calling it now that you've shown a pre-war company was dumping chemical waste in the sewers and tunnels under the city, that the Troggs are inspired by the classic 80's horror movie, Chud.
    Not to spoil an amazingly so-bad-it's-good movie, but in the end they discover that the Chuds are mutated humans, mutated by radioactive chemical waste dumped under New York. There's even a scene were the Chuds are kinda "worshiping" the barrels, kinda like how the Troggs seems to be frolicking around those barrels.

      I think you are on to something here haha it seems very very similar. I'm going to look for Easter Eggs now that might relate!

      As a Pittsburgh native, this wouldn't suprise me... I can't say that its true, but having lived there most of my life, there's plenty of places where companies could've dumped their stuff without anyone caring... Especially if you head across the river.

    @LordOmnissiah Рік тому +23

    In addition to a note by a priest suggesting the company had been hiding the chemical under the church, there’s also a terminal entry that mentions the industrial cleaner reacts violently with radiation. When exposed to rads it causes a violent exothermic reaction and grows massively in volume. The trench was probably the result of some buried barrels undergoing such a reaction with the resulting earthquake ripping the ground apart.

    • @UraniumFever76
      @UraniumFever76  Рік тому +5

      I was saving that note for the full video lol! Crazy right. I’m trying to find evidence that the earthquake happened before the war, but the radiation from bombs drop would explain why all the barrels ‘exploded’. I just can’t wrap my head around the yellow cranes propping up the building! Find it hard to believe they would have set them up after the war. Let me know if you find anything and thanks for watching the video!

      @@UraniumFever76 I haven’t found anything suggesting it was a prewar earthquake. As for the cranes it could be the survivors of the bombs or early Union members tried to fix stuff after the bombs fell but had to stop because of the emergence of the Trogs and Fanatics.

    I'm enjoying the Pitt and I think the people who are upset about it hyped up what it could have been too much. That aside, I can see where they're coming from as there is enough evidence and dots to connect to see what kind of bigger update it could have been. For example, Danilo could have been a cool NPC who had his own full redemption arc in a potential storyline.

    • @UraniumFever76
      @UraniumFever76  Рік тому +2

      It was always going to be this! I’ve really enjoyed researching all this, do wish it was a narrative dlc though!

      It's still early days yet for expeditions. Danilo tells you they need to find fanatics plans to help on future missions, so I'm guessing there are more to come in future updates.

      @@UraniumFever76 I imagine Bethesda's artists and devs, as well as its longtime playerbase, were wishing that as well, but the directors said, "No. Just make a MMS-style mission like Daily Ops for players to grind so we can keep them coming back to the Atomic Shop" or something equally stupid. What most remaining '76 players think are all the best "rewards" for completing "quests" are actually locked behind all this MMS-style stuff Bethesda's longtime playerbase has no interest in. In masterful single player games, like Witcher 3, compelling stories and characterization are the reward and quests have purpose and meaning. The so-called "quests" in this game, otoh, are procedurally-generated, repetitive, monotonous and boring tasks to complete and the "rewards" are pure fluff.
      That's what people are upset about EJ Red. It's geared toward the MMS crowd like most everything else Bethesda has done lately. If they want to draw in the MMS crowd, they should make a MMS game. Instead, they're ruining the Fallout universe and its lore. They've literally taken everything that's ever appeared in a Fallout game, dumped it in West Virginia, slapped a sales tag on it and called it good. '76 reflects no ingenuity, continuity or logical progression whatsoever. The hell of it is, Bethesda's management knows that and doesn't care in the least.

    Not really a secret, but in the tunnels underneath the sanctum there's a porta potty with a skull wearing a top hat peaking out of the toilet seat, with the words "Wild Ride" written above the skull's head. Obvious nod to Mr. Bones' Wild Ride, maybe even the DNSL video featuring the same character.
