Ok… everything looked super balanced by the end of the night! My makeup never looked “expired” or overly oily in any area! I’m actually surprised! I’m not sure if it was the foundation or setting spray that contributed to such a nice wear but I’ll be sure to keep trying them & I’ll keep you guys posted! The mascara didn’t smudge or flake either- I’d say it was a pretty successful makeup day!! :)

Honestly the bronzer with the pink undertone is unique and genius. It actually looked super natural on you, which I think is the point.
So Bobbi Browns OG bronzer in shade Antigua is literally the same shade, seeing as how Jones Road is her new line it makes sense she launched the famous Antigua shade but changed the name … it’s literally her design from the very beginning. I love Antigua and I’m sure the newer shade is pretty too . Same one different name . ❤

@Miss Vendetta Bobbi Brown had (has) different toned bronzers. Pink, orange, just brown. She's the O.G creator of the "blonzer". ;)

@@kaahfee I don’t deny that,it’s a given, but watching someone put cream on their face is just dull. I want to see creativity in the makeup and get ideas and tips that will help me with application. Nobody needs to be shown how to wear skincare.

Skin care is extremely important, but it is so highly personal. I have thrown out so many 'recommended' products that were HGs for the 'influencer', but we're a disaster on me. No shade to Allie, who is great, but the best skincare videos are from dermatologists, who know many different types of skin. I come to this channel for the makeup!

Allie, I am nearly as fair as you are and I just picked up the Jones Road bronzer in Dusty Rose. It is the first bronzer that actually looks natural on me, but I find that you have to use a VERY light hand to avoid that sunburned look. I mean, just barely touch the brush to the bronzer, and shake off the excess. If you apply it very lightly, it is amazing!
I love the new Jones Road dusty rose bronzer. It does give a very natural, healthy look to pale skin, unlike gray or yellow pulling bronzers. For me, it works as both bronzer and blush (though I do add a little light pink blush on the "shelf" of my cheekbones), so it really makes it worth the price, which is relatively reasonable already.
The sunburned look. I'm very into it!!! ☺🥰😍

Yeeeeeah I love that new ELF mascara it’s so good! Also the new ELF little palettes are so beautiful too the yellows are incredible. I’ve also been loving so many of the new revolution releases, the cc swirl primer is beautiful, the mini chocolate palettes for like £5 are so good! Have a great day everyone 🥰
I really like the dusty rose blush. It looks more like a blush to me than a bronzwer.
I thought that as well. Much more of a blush than a bronzer. If I dusted that over my face the way a bronzer goes on, I'd look like I was having a major hot flush 🤒.

I feel like for years I have been obsessed with bodyography eyeshadow/glitter pigment and any of their foiled looking shadows are some of the most beautiful!!! They also have some beautiful liquid eyeshadow
Hi Allie! This look is beautiful & the lavender eyeshadow has the nicest sparkle. I have been loving the Jones Road bronzer in Dusty Rose on my complexion (very fair & a redhead here) It is the most natural looking bronzer I’ve found, and I feel like it gives me that toasty healed-sunburn type of look that I actually get in the sun 🤣 I have been loving the way it looks by itself-but after watching your video, I really want to try mixing it with my CT airbrush bronzer in Fair too; I think that could give it a nice & slightly warmer look to pair with warm eye looks etc ! Thanks for the inspiration🥰

I think that rosy Jones Road bronzer would be perfect for me! Especially in spring I always have to mix a red blush into my bronzer to match my face to my body because of the undertone of my fair skin.

Hello Allie, in fact I think Bobbi Brown did the colour of her bronzer on purpose. Because she already did it with the brand bobbibrown on the illuminating bronzing powder, that there are many shades include shade of pink and peach also.
She said each colour is mimic the colour on the face when they've been hit by the sun depends on their skin colour.

For tinted brow gels: scruff it backwards through your brow hairs FIRST and then smooth them back down in the correct direction.
I have Olivia Palermo lipstick in Rosebud, and one of the eyeshadow pallets. The packaging a so luxe and the product is really good.

JR’s dusty rose reminds me of a favorite Bobbi Brown bronzer in Antigua. I’ve wondered where Bobbi (the artist) might reprise favorites from her namesake line of old. Antigua also is very rosy-pink in the pan, top quality and beautiful like all BB bronzers, and I loved it for cold girl look this winter.
Bobbie Brown has had no affiliation with BB Cosmetics since 2016 when it acquired by Estee Lauder. The very next day after her 'non-compete agreement with EL expired, Bobbie launched Jones Road Beauty. 🙂
Yes, I’ve seen her interviews on her no-compete and exit from BB. But my point was her genius and influence with her namesake line surely carries over today to inspire her current offerings. She’s talked about what’s she’s learned as a MUA and creator over decades and how that shapes JR. As a long time BB user, I watch for similarities and love her fresh takes.
I love love love the new MAC skincare. It's super soothing, hydrating, and smoothing. Creates a great base for makeup.
I went into MAC this weekend for lipstick & they convinced me to try their new moisturizer. So far I really like it!
Bobbi Brown (who made Jones Road) had a similar bronzer called Antigua in her line. I have used it for over 15 years. 🙌😂 I wonder how the two compare!!

Can we just talk about how beautiful the Colourpop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer, Foundation, Concealer are so beautiful over every type of primer? It's so beautiful layered on top all primers and it does give you that beautiful natural makeup look with in. Colourpop's You're Golden Eyeshadow Palette is way too beautiful not to get on sale but it's perfect for every type of makeup look.
I love the ELF mascara! I like it the best of all their new mascaras that I've tried. It's definitely going to be one I repurchase.

I usually fill in my brows with pencil and use a brow tint in the front of my brows to make the brows appear more fluffy
I've been eagerly waiting to hear your thoughts on the new complexion rescue! Hope you can try it again with a different skincare/primer underneath to hear your final thoughts. I was very excited about it since it sounds perfect for the summer. I wear the original one all year round but it can be a little too oily for me during the hot and humid days. Hopefully I can get my hands on that bronzer in the EU soon because that looks gorgeous. X
Same! I'm excited to try the matte formula. Bare just reformulated and repackaged their primers, as well. They feel so good on the skin without the heavy silicone feel. I love the rebrand they are doing.

My family has always been loud, we do karaoke at home, game nights and things like that. I made sure my babies could sleep through all that and at other houses like my siblings for example but now I have teenagers. They can't wake to an alarm and never want to sleep at home on weekends lol. So it's nice when they're little but not so nice when they're big.

Hey Allie! You know, I hated the idea of anything Jones Road when I saw the baby poop in a jar that is her WTF cream foundation. But that Dusty Rose bronzer is really changing my mind. And the Olivia Palermo lippies not only have classy packaging, but the satin sheen finish is really something nice. The color Chianti (pronounced "key - an - tee", it's a type of wine) is a great cool tone for me, and I love that rosebud you tried on. Thank you for shining a light on these very different items - I am also tired of seeing everyone show the same things, and that kind of boredom and lack of inspiration will surely be the death of viewership here on UA-cam. We are all intelligent beings who need stimulation - so thanks!
I actually put Fresco from Laura Mercier in my purse makeup bag so I can use as both blush and bronzer!

glitter. I use the elf wow brow and it comes in the same formula. It fills in where you need it and then it dries.

I have dry skin and I really wanted to love the Bare Minerals complexion rescue tinted moisturizer but I’ve never been able to make it work. It separates and ends up making my skin look greasy.
Oh my gosh, totally me I hate it when I forgot to put back on my wedding ring. I have arthritis in my hands and they swell a bit at night so I take my ring off as it can get uncomfortable when the hands swell. I feel you. I am super interested in the matte complexion rescue. The original makes my skin really dewey. I have combo skin so the dewey look feels oily to me.

Actually you look like you’re glowing with that Rosie bronzer all over your face. I mean, granted some of the tan shade is mixed in, whatever you did - equals perfect magic for your completion. I’ve never seen you look so glowy and beautiful. You should keep both in your routine . The regular bronze dulls you out at times, this is so much nicer. I know your preference differs and I get that but hopefully you take it into consideration.

I’m so so curious about the bare minerals matte complexion rescue! I guess if your normal/ dry use the original and if your more oily then use the new matte one? I haven’t seen anyone talk about it either and I’ve seen it on the new list at Sephora and ulta!

I’ve been wanting someone to review the setting spray. It looked really dewy on the website but not in your review. Interesting. I’ve been testing out the lash sensational sky high mascara and it def doesn’t flake or smudge. Nothing beats the thrive mascara though
