Toadfish you caught there. Take that sheep and fillet him with the scales on, trim any bones off the fillet and wash the loose scales off. Toss on a charcoal grill scales down and baste with butter mixed with your favorite seasonings. The tender flaky meat pushes right off the skin with your fork
LOL, dude says “if you got crabs don’t worry about it doctor says do whatever you got to do don’t worry about it” my wife was in the other room heard that and asks me what the hell am I watching LOL
That advice hits deep. I have a plate and 4 screws in my hip because I didn't bother getting my pain checked before it was too late. Listen to your body, it knows.
My son got another foot boot at good will thrift shop. Wash the dirty one with a hose put the thrift one on until the other one dries then switch out!!😀
Find a random fisherman at a popular spot, ask him for a place to find your target species, then go there and find another fisherman, ask him about a nice spot, and keep doing it until the spot you find has nobody there. I have a few pretty secret fishing spots that I found personally, and if someone else was there too then I’d definitely ask how did they find this place and if they know anywhere else.
Search mangroves in public parks for small crabs, best sheepshead bait. Use small hook, they have small mouths. Wait for thump (they crush the crab and suck out the meat) and set the hook. If you miss hookset, it’s over reel in and re bait. Good luck
Footwear matters so much when you are doing outdoor things. Usually sportswear is not ideal for fishing/hiking stuff, which kinda sucks. Hard sole, high ankle wear is probably the way to go in my experience
I've been watching videos of people that fish a lot and I've really learned from two people and one of them is this one and 618 fishing. So I want to think them for the advice and tips.
I have 3 screws in the same bone. It's a very slow healing bone because the blood flow is slow to that bone. You need to stay off it 100% for as long as possible.
Speedy recovery on your foot bud !!!! At least you caught a fish.....still lookin for my first ever sheepshead. Maybe this year off the Wall !! Weather has finally turned around in DE. Nice vid Mike !!
I know that this isn't about fly fishing. Regardless of that I have been on the fence about fly fishing for years, decades actually. Watched a few of your fly vids and that was all it took so now i have a new pit to throw my monies into, thanks a lot man.
Hey man, i just gotta say i love watching ur video, when i see u uploaded its just so satisfying, and it’s not easy uploading videos! thanks dude have a good day
I may be wrong but I think you need to find a better hook selection, that first one was just huge, I don't like using those really I guess there good in certain spots but, I think you should have just thrown on a regular hook, circle hook, j hook
Hi I love your videos but if you're doing catch and cook i would highly recommend doing it out on bank, with a stove etc. its more entertaining to watch.
You in my area of town I’ve fished there multiple times and haven’t caught anything if you continue to follow the road all the way down it will take you to deedee bartels boat ramp it where I do most of my shark fishing at you will catch some crazy stuff there I’ve caught a ribbon fish on a spoon baby gag grouper
I can help you. From Philly want you to succeed. I am watching you miss bites. Watch the tip of the rod. Ignore what you feel. Also don’t flip the bail too fast. Cast out then let it sink. Last thing, the fish are on the edge where the drop off is. You don’t always cast the the piling. Keep the line tight and watch the tip. You will catch ‘em
ah man, one outing so far. Was shooting for trout but I only caught pickerel. I used new wading boots 4 the 1st time and my big toe nail fell off about a week later😢. Headed back out tomorrow hopefully! G DA MIC General Drill 1.1 check it out Mike!
That jig head is too big for that area. You'd be much better off freelining those fiddlers. Also, I think you're losing your bait either on the cast or the way down in most instances.
What've yall caught so far this spring? 👀🎣
Nothing it’s winter in Canada lol
@@benjibeengrinding warmth is coming!
@@FirstStateFishing yeah I’m super excited can’t wait! Keep on fishing 🔥
Nothing still cold but almost time
haven’t fished yet this year. wanna catch some salt water fish but there’s no salt water in northern va
@ 13:17 Feather Blenny per the Audubon society guide. Love your videos!
I think the unidentified fish was a toadfish lol. As soon as I saw the sheepshead jighead, I just knew you would have fiddlers lol
One of my favorite fishing UA-camrs u show the real life struggle of fishing not every trip is perfect nice catch tho

That is some of my favorite kind of fishing. Wish there was something local to me. Love your videos! Have fun!
The struggle is real, but persistence really paid off. That is fishing.
ID on that fish is a Hairy Blenny. I know it doesnt sound like something you should Google but that the type of fish. Very common here in FL.
Use a cork so you can adjust the depth and get it closer to vertical on the pilings
LOL, dude says “if you got crabs don’t worry about it doctor says do whatever you got to do don’t worry about it” my wife was in the other room heard that and asks me what the hell am I watching LOL
You are my favorite UA-camr I love your videos and there’s is nothing I’d rather do is fish

That advice hits deep. I have a plate and 4 screws in my hip because I didn't bother getting my pain checked before it was too late. Listen to your body, it knows.
First time I've ever heard "we got crabs" in a positive way.. Also Florida sun is known as liquid sunshine by the truck drivers back 20 years ago!
Kudos for staying with the thunder. First strike I see I’m gone. I know a buddy who got struck and survived.
Man I wish I could do what you do, it looks like so much fun

Only just started fishing recently, having so much fun. I've only caught roach but looking to invest in different lures and explore!
I've been watching videos of people that fish a lot and I've really learned from two people and one of them is this one and 618 fishing. So I want to think them for the advice and tips.
4 to 6 weeks on the boot im watching this video 4 months ago and in your latest vid you still got it lol L doctors
🔥
That second fish is very common down here in Perú. Horrible meat but excellent for soups.
Hell yeah man good video! Should try hooking the fiddlers sideways next to the back legs it keeps them alive
Def just use a sinker up the line a bit and a regular hook with no jig head. Get a ton more hookups/bites 💪😎
Already watching Mike
sheepshead is delish!!! good on ya mate
I have 3 screws in the same bone. It's a very slow healing bone because the blood flow is slow to that bone. You need to stay off it 100% for as long as possible.

Use a small circle hook so it just looks like a crab floating by
the fish at 13:20 I believe is a mud skipper
Hi I love your videos but if you're doing catch and cook i would highly recommend doing it out on bank, with a stove etc. its more entertaining to watch.

Second fish looked like a lawnmower blenny
