Christ died and rose from death one time. If you crucify Him through ritual, you are saying God's perfect sacrifice is not good enough.

Why do some parishes leave out the Nicene Creed? I have noticed during most Masses shown on EWTN. They also do not offer the blood of Christ to everyone. To me these two are just part of the Mass. Without them, I feel like I am missing out.
I like the combination of voice and video as it makes it suitable for all audiences. I also like how it begins from when the priest enters the sacristy to put on his vestments and then names everything he wears / uses. This is great for the youth of our Church.
It was my great fortunate to have stumbled on this video! I use when I am teaching my RCIA folks -- especially those new to the Mass. I stop and start it along the way to add more commentary, answer questions as needed. It's the perfect teaching tool. It certainly can be used for junior high and high school youth or for an adult education class as a template for the Mass. Thank you!
Ten years late but very helpful. I just returned to the Church after neglecting her for several years and my Priest is great but has such a thick accent it is hard to understand what he's saying. This helps.

I am (obviously - LOL) not Catholic, but I AM Christian, and for some reason, am feeling drawn to making the sign of the cross. I do not want to do it if doing so would be offensive to Catholics. I am not wanting to do it in a mocking way, in ANY way, I want to do it in the same way (I think) that you do, a quick way to bless myself and bring myself closer to Heavenly Father during the day, as a quick prayer, and as a way to kind of ward off the "bad" guy. =) I don't know if that is a good explanation of why I want to, I just feel kind of "pulled" to do it. I can go into further detail if I need to. My boyfriend is a police officer and whenever I hear a siren I pray a quick prayer (I have been doing this for years) and I have thought about integrating the sign of the cross into that. Although the silent prayer works very well for me - so much so that I even do it in my sleep (LITERALLY! - LOL)... But I would really like feedback from Catholics on how they would feel about a non-Catholic doing the sign of the cross. Thank you again - LOVE and PRAYERS!
911ambulancegirl The Sign of the Cross has been used in some manner since the early church. Although it is identified with the Catholic and Orthodox churches, it is purely Christian. Great video and explanations but it would help to also give the explanation of why and when we kneel, stand. Do we hold hands during our father ? Do we leave our pew to give peace or just ones next to us? Option to receive communion by hand? When should you walk out of church? Bella Bella Yes. The term helps us remember that the Mass is both a gathering of worshippers and an act of sacrifice. I would say, however, that the phrase, ‘the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass’ is better.

My Catholic friends, I just want to ask you all a simple question: are you going to heaven when you die? Catholicism teaches many things that go against the Bible, such as salvation. Friends, you cannot earn your way into heaven, and it is only through repentance and putting your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast," (Eph. 2:8-9). Believe only on Jesus who took the punishment for the world on that Roman cross. Do not put your trust in Mary or any of your works.
what is condemned in Eph. 2:8-9 is FAKE good works which you BOAST.... Real Good works are not subject to BOASTING... 1 Corinthians 13:4 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not BOAST, it is not proud." REAL FAITH requires FAith and Good works TOGETHER... Galatians 5:6 "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love."
THe Catholic Church does not teach that salvation is by works . Justification is by Gods grace only. . we also know that mary does not save, only jesus does.As for the Bible , the Church does not teach doctrine because it is in the Bible, it's in the Bible because that is what the Church teaches. My aunt is coming to stay and will be going to with her to mass, I am christian and have only been to church of England services. I understand I can not take part in mass but is there anything I should note I should do or not?
You can take part in the Mass! Please pray with all those attending. Although you may not partake of the Holy Eucharist because you are not Catholic, we urge you to pray for a spiritual union with our Lord, Jesus Christ during communion. It would be especially important to know the history of the KJV since you promote it so much. Research the history of the Bible and the KJV for yourself. You may be surprised by some things. Should a king be able to make his own translation of the Bible just to further his political agenda? Research the truth "born again"...that's all I'm suggesting. You can draw your own conclusion but research further than what you've been told. Don't follow the words of pastors and men who claim to know truth...research it for yourself. Tabernacle is God's dwelling place on earth (cf. Ex 25:8-9). God is present in His home on earth. Many Catholics don't understand this. They act like they are being in an empty building inside the church.

Except that the majority of Anglicans think liturgy is jumping around to pop music, and you lack the real presence. I am sure the few high Anglicans who left Pusey House without AIDS, worshipping in churches that are in communion with the rest of your ridiculous church in name only, might like to pretend that you are the ‘real’ catholic church in England and Wales, but you are not. Not even close, with your women bishops and gay marriage priests. And, besides, for every one high Anglican in his lace by day and leather by night, there are about 10 traddie Catholics celebrating the Latin Mass.
It depends on what Protestant church. The bottom line, though, is that in the Catholic Mass the bread and wine truly become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. For Protestants it is symbolic, for Catholics it truly happens.

In the 2nd we are never to turn our back on our Lord on the Altar in favor of Man or the New Modern Man. There are Priests and as I have learned who have the Proofs of Discipleship as Jesus taught in scripture and those foundations of his church. In a using such Proofs as a guide to gain understanding and see for myself such as matter, form and intention. Here then is the Proof as the host becomes the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus in the Eucharist. But, a so-called act camouflaged as thought the Christ is there when the sacrament is wrongly administered is a complete illusion. This is Protestantism when they take the Sacrifice and make it a banquet. Making a toast, putting the host in the hand or otherwise and making it a feast rather then acknowledging the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. What is understanding? What is comprehension? Nothing when it is a matter of faith, love and believing that Jesus is God and can do all things in heaven and earth! So, what is it you say that his disciples did or did not do? Were you there? There is much conjecture about this. His 12 Apostles stood with him and were taught by him for just over three years. That matter, form and intention were handed down by them to us. krakusdomm You completely misread my comment. After Jesus said it was truly his blood and flesh a lot of his followers left because they couldn't grasp the concept. Read John chapter 6 verse 47-69. You don't need to be there to read what happened in the word of God... Yes there were 12 true disciples and a lot of fakes ( the ones that left ) but their goal was to gain all the others, making them disciples baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit ( Mathew 28:19 ). The 12 were Jesus' Apostles who were his true followers, but also known as disciples.

Why do some parishes leave out the Nicene Creed? I have noticed during most Masses shown on EWTN. They also do not offer the blood of Christ to everyone. To me these two are just part of the Mass. Without them, I feel like I am missing out.
I like the combination of voice and video as it makes it suitable for all audiences. I also like how it begins from when the priest enters the sacristy to put on his vestments and then names everything he wears / uses. This is great for the youth of our Church.

I stop and start it along the way to add more commentary, answer questions as needed. It's the perfect teaching tool. I am (obviously - LOL) not Catholic, but I AM Christian, and for some reason, am feeling drawn to making the sign of the cross. I do not want to do it if doing so would be offensive to Catholics. I am not wanting to do it in a mocking way, in ANY way, I want to do it in the same way (I think) that you do, a quick way to bless myself and bring myself closer to Heavenly Father during the day, as a quick prayer, and as a way to kind of ward off the "bad" guy. =) I don't know if that is a good explanation of why I want to, I just feel kind of "pulled" to do it. I can go into further detail if I need to. My boyfriend is a police officer and whenever I hear a siren I pray a quick prayer (I have been doing this for years) and I have thought about integrating the sign of the cross into that. Although the silent prayer works very well for me - so much so that I even do it in my sleep (LITERALLY! - LOL)... But I would really like feedback from Catholics on how they would feel about a non-Catholic doing the sign of the cross. Thank you again - LOVE and PRAYERS!
911ambulancegirl The Sign of the Cross has been used in some manner since the early church. Although it is identified with the Catholic and Orthodox churches, it is purely Christian. Great video and explanations but it would help to also give the explanation of why and when we kneel, stand. Do we hold hands during our father ? Do we leave our pew to give peace or just ones next to us? Option to receive communion by hand? When should you walk out of church? It depends on what Protestant church. The bottom line, though, is that in the Catholic Mass the bread and wine truly become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. For Protestants it is symbolic, for Catholics it truly happens.

Nasaan natin makikita para siraan ko ang bible para paniwalaan ako ng tao, una wala akong relihiyon , pangalawa hindi ako humihingi ng bayad sa mga ginagamot ko, absolutely free. Kung tatanungin ko kayo ilang bisis ba ang Diyos nagkatawang tao ang isasagot ninyo isa lang sa makatuwid minsan lang, ngayon ang pangalawang tanong ko sa inyo kung isa lang bakit mayroon tayong 1,600 na iba't ibang klasing bible na minsan lang naman siya nagkatawang tao dapat isa lang ang bible natin dahil holy walang kahit sino ang pweding mag bago nito ano man ang mangyari ang sabi ng Diyos "WALA KANG SASABIHIN SA KANILA NA HINDI KO SINASABI SAYO" ang salita ng Diyos. Ibig sabihin ng Diyos wag tayong magsasabing salita o mensahe ng Diyos na hindi naman sa kanya, ibig sabihin nagkakasala tayo, dahil umabot sa 1,600, ibig sabihin maraming kasinungaligan pero tinuturo natin sa mga tao di ang tao nagkaligaw ligaw na diba dahil nangyari ito nagkakasala na ang nagtuturo. Anong sabi ng Diyos "ANG MGA TAONG SINSAMBA NILA , TINITINGALA NILA AY PINAGTANGGOL NILA DAPAT LANG DAHIL N0.1 MAKASALANAN SILA" ang salita ng Diyos sa pagtuturo nila na hindi naman galing sa Diyos nagkakasala na sila. Sa pagsasabi nilang ang mensahe ng Diyos o salita ng Diyos na hindi naman nila nakausap ang Diyos nagkakasala narin sila, ngayong kong sasabihin nila nakausap nga nila bakit wala silang kayang gawin na hindi kaya ng ordinaryong tao tulad ng magagawa ko, ang boses ko makapagaling ayon sa paniniwala ng tao, makakita ako ng kasalanan ng tao, makakita ako ng parating. Ito ay ginawa ng Diyos na bilang back up para paniwalaan ako ng tao. Segi kayo mag paliwag kung paano ninyo ipagtanggol ang paniniwala ninyo sa bible at patunayan mo ito hindi kaya ng ordinaryong tao ang magagawa mo.

Sa mga taong nagsasabing bakit binabanatan o sinisiraan ko ang simbahan ng katoliko, para sa inyo wala akong pinipili dahil ang sabi ng Diyos "WALA KANG PIPILIIN SA KANILA" ang salita ng Diyos. Para narin sa inyong lahat na may tenga, mata at tamang pagiisip, gamitin ninyo naman sa tama bago kayo magsasabing bakit sinisiraan ko ang simbahan lalo na ang katoliko, ganon ba ang pagkakaintindi ninyo, hindi ba ninyo na intindihan na ang sabi ng Diyos na kong nag parating tayo ng salita ng Diyos sa mga tao ay sinasabi niyang "ABSOLUTELY FREE" ang salita ng Diyos. Sa ibang relihiyon nag papataw sila ng 10% sa mga membro na hindi naman ito nayong sa kagustuhan ng Diyos, pero ikumpara natin sa simbahan ng katoliko tadtad ng pagkakitaan, isaisahin ninyo ang lahat ng ginawa sa simbahan na wala silang ginawang wala kakambal na pera, kung hindi kayo nalulula sa gawain nila ang Diyos lulanglula na. Kung talagang mali ako bakit hindi kayo magkipag usap sa akin na patigilin ninyo ako, hindi kayo mabibigo haharapin ko kayo sa harapan ng mga media at camera para patunayan ko sa inyo na wala akong ginagawa na hindi totoo, patunay na kausap ko ang Diyos. Segi magsamasama kayong lahat sa harapan ng mga video camera ng mga media para kung hindi ko kayang patunayan sa inyo na totoo ang mga post ko panahon na para ipapahiya ninyo ako sa buong mundo. Puro lang kayo chatchat wala naman kayong ibubuga. Mag isip naman kayo ng mabuti.

Nanggamot at nangaral si Jesus Christ noon may simbahan ba siya, ilang taon ba niyang ginawa yon ipalagay nalang natin sa edad niya nag umpisa 12 year old humigit kumulang nasa sampo pataas malinaw na ginawa niya ang pagpakilala sa mga tao. Bakit hindi niya naisipan na mag tayo ng maliit na kapilya manlang para doon siya mangangaral nag tiis siya maglakadlakad at kahit saan siya nangangaral nasaan natin batayan na kailangan nga magtayo ng simbahan. Ang Diyos is powerful kahit nasaan ang tao alam niya kung ano ang ginagawa alam nga niya kahit nakalipas na, katulad ng ginagamot ko na hindi ko siya kilala at hindi ko alam kung tagasaan siya at anong pinaggagawa niya pero bakit nalalaman ko na pumatay siya ng tao at detalyado kung paano niya pinatay at matagal na niyang itinago ito at higit sa lahat nandito ako sa ibang bansa at siya nasa Pilipinas hindi ko pa alam kung saan siya sa Pipilinas ang tanong ko bakit nalalaman ko lahat kung walang DIyos an nag kwento sa akin dito palang isang patunay na ang Diyos is powerful at alam niya lahat bakit kailangan ng tao na magtayo ng simbahan. Bakit ginawa ng tao ito dahil sa simbahan nila ipunin ang tao at doon nila makulikta ang pera na pinapataw nila sa membro, kung walang simbahan paano nila kuliktahin ang pera sa mga tao diba, kung tayo nga maningil ka sa taong nangungutang sayo puntahan mo sa bahay hindi mo pa mahagilap paano nakaya kung walang simbahan at gagawin nila ito diba nakakatawa sisingilin ka nila na hindi kanaman nangutang sa kanila. Sa ibang relihiyon pag hindi ka naka simba puntahan ka nila at kukunin ang pera nila dinadaan lang sa kumustahan kung bakit hindi ka naka simba. Diba ito paraan para sisingilin nila ang membro. Ang simba sa paniniwala ko ay ang pagsimba sa gusto ng diyos kung baga gawin natin ang gusto ng Diyos yon ang simba anong gagawin sa pagsimba kung ang tao naman pumapasok sa simbahan pero pagnasa labas na puro naman kasamaan ang gawain niya nasaan ang sinasabi nilang simba syempre ituturo nila na ang paniniwala pag lingkuran mo ang Diyos para ang mga tao naniniwala sa turong ito ay mag silbi din sa simbahan ng libre diba natutulungan mo sila na gawain ng simbahan na wala silang ginagastos na pera dahil pinaniwalaan ng tao na dapat libre kaya hindi siya nagpabayad o hindi sila magbabayad pero sa lahat ng gawain ng mga pari at pastor sila ang nagpabayad hindi ba ito uri ng pangluluko, isipin natin ng mabuti kong tama ba ito, Kung sinabi ng Diyos sa kanila dapat may kaya silang gawin para paniwalaan sila ng mga tao at kung tama naman ang lahat ng turo nila hindi na magpaalala ang Diyos sa tao at hindi narin niya ako gagamitin para iparating ko sa mga tao ang tunay na mensahe niya. Kung tama din ang turo at sinasabi nila bakit sinasabi ng Diyos na "ANG LAHAT NG SINASABI NILA HINDI YAN TUTUO DAHIL HINDI NILA KAYANG PATUNAYAN, IKAW ANG TUTUO DAHIL KAYA MONG PATUNAYAN SA MGA TAO." ang salita ng Diyos itong kaya kung gawin ito ang katunayan na kausap ko ang Diyos at ang lahat nga sinasabi ko ay galing sa kanya. Ano paba ang kailangan nila na nagtambak na ang katibayan na kausap ko ang Diyos kaya wala sila mahanap na butas para sabihin na gagawa ko lang ito, kaya walang kahit sino sa kanila na makalapit sa akin dahil sila mismo alam nila na tutuo at tama lahat ng pinarating ko sa mga tao.

Couple of correction:
1. Why is not said father in Christ?
2. Why is not there a mother in Christ to help out and represent Joseph and Mary as servants.
3. Why is there obstacles not removed?
4. Why is not there husband and a wife children of Abraham and Sarah on each side of the alter as children of Christ.
5. Why is not there two small children boy and a girl in front of husband and wife on each side of the alter.

I do NOT believe the "priest changes the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Jesus. We believe that the Holy Spirit changes the elements into the Precious Body and Blood.

If you change The Gospel, practice false religion, and pray to anyone but God, you have blasphemed God and are in real danger of being throw into hell. Christ died and rose from death one time. If you crucify Him through ritual, you are saying God's perfect sacrifice is not good enough.
