    Today's recipe is for some delicious Mexican style Concha rolls. Mexican pan dulce ("sweet bread") is one of my all-time favorite pastries to eat, and they are often enjoyed year-round with a little cafecito in the morning. :) These little conchas are so soft & fluffy that you won't believe they're actually plant based!

      Thats vegan butter you should try it, there’s vegan country crock sticks that taste exactly the same as regular butter to me

    Hi. You're milk looked like it was too hot and killed the yeast. It shouldn't be steaming hot. The instructions say between 100 and 110 and it looked like your thermometer went closer to 120. You also may be under preparing the yeast by either not feeding it enough or not letting it sit long enough at the right temperature the yeast was too watery when you put it in the flour it should be fluffy.
    I would suggest having the milk no higher than 110 and adding a 1/4 tsp of ginger to your yeast along with the sugar the yeast loves it.
    You will get a much softer concha if you get the yeast right and knead long enough to create the gluten
    I hope this doesn't come across as rude. I've gone through so much trial and error making conchas this is what helped my bakes.

      Thank you for the suggestions! I'll definitely try them out next time I make a batch of conchas! 💚 The day I chose to make them was a pretty cold day as well so I think that may have had something to do with my yeast taking extra long to proof.. and I should've been a bit more patient with my yeast 😅 but you live and you learn! Lol

      @@plantbasedaholic yes I've done the same thing with becoming impatient during bakes. Sometimes ill pret heat the oven to low to warm my kitchen up a bit and place the yeast on the stove top with a towel underneath and do the same when proofing the dough.

    no pone los ingredientes, compartir la receta asi no es funcional, como la vas a realizar, ademas alguien mas se la pidio y no responde, asi no puede considerarse un buen canal que pena se ve buena la receta
