Best deal I ever got on a Ram truck was from Peel. It’s not just a saying it’s the truth. Nobody beats a deal from Peel. Bought my 2018 Ram 1500 Laramie brand new and got a great deal . 5 years ago now never had any issues with the truck over 100,000 K on it now still runs like new. But you forgot the locking rear differential and the 1" lift and heavy duty suspension that are all standard on the warlock and are not even options on the SLT
There is no rear locking differential on fourth gen ram 1500.
I will say yes to the 1 inch lift but I don’t have locking rear on my ‘24 warlock classic I just picked up last week
I like the warlock. a little different look. I have a 2017 black out and wanted the truck to look different. just bought a 2021 warlock in black and pick it up tomorrow.

Just picked up Warlock Ceramic Gray edition yesterday ... great looking truck and included steps , bed liner, trailer brake and almost every option for about $55K.

I have a 2022 and I love it. Went with a quad cab because the towing capacity was higher.

I have a 2021 Warlock 3.6l and have to say if you live in a mountainous area, as I do, you may hate this truck. The transmission is constantly shifting, I mean 100 or more shifts on a 20 mile trip to town. With all the shifting is the little engine screaming in your ears and a vibration throughout the cab at around 2,000 rpm. Not to mention how much rougher the ride is over the 5th gens. Just bout it new Jan 2022 and now I'm stuck with it. Only put 1,500 miles on it in four months because I can't stand to drive it.
I drive alot for work and dont have those issues. No vibrations either, Im at about 20,000kms right now.
I had my rear diff go at 45k kms. Waited 2 montha for a repair and it blew again in 3 days even though i said it still made noise they told me to drive it a week b4 i came back and claimed it was probably cupped tires. I had to tell the ram mechanic i would pay for the inspection if i was wrong on day 3 bec i coulsnt handle the noise for 4 more days. Guess what? I was right and rear diff was starting to fail again. 6 more weeks without my truck later as it was being repaired a second time and the truck is making a subtle sound and 4x4 after the diff repair feels rough and has noise. The rear diff has the sound again but nowhere near as bad as b4. I decided to list my truck for sale privately with 1 yewr warranty left and 2 weeks into listing it (now at 46200 kms the ac stopped working with a hiss behind the dash when you push ac. Ac is not under warranty and would require removing the entire dash to fix the leak. This truck has cost me about 1k in insurance sitting in a ram lot in -20 not being plugged in via heater block. Buying a new ram was the worst decision i have ever made. Now i am selling my 2010 ram 3500 as well out of spite. They lost a customer for life. Btw... if you google rear diff 2019... seems the american warlocks were recalled for low rear diff levels thst could cause them to prematurely wear out. I was told this recall did not apply to my canadian version of the truck... somehow i am skeptical.
@@coffeebeans7912 wait until 47000 kms. My ac starting hissing under the dash and wont work. At 45000k my rear diff blew on a drive in a remote location in the dead of winter. I was lucky to have a full tank of gas. I no longer trust my truck on long drives so am selling it with 1 year warranty remaining. Rams are junk.
You should manned up and got the 5.7 with the 3.92 then

Why would a black appearance come with the wrong side of the tires facing out? Wouldn't that completely defeat the purpose of getting a black appearance?
I ordered a black 1500 with black appearance package had the dealer throw in window tinting and black lug nuts. I assumed the wheels would be installed with the black side out and that's common sense for a truck someone is trying to completely blackout.
They are not facing the wrong side. If you read the black appearance package, it has the OWL (Outlined White Letters) All-Season tires.
@@PEELCHRYSLERJEEPRAM ok I didn't know thats what OWL means so thx. I need to check my build sheet see what mine says i guess cause that seem ridiculous to send a blacked our truck with white letters showing lol...
Typically the black appearance comes like that.. Maybe in the future they'll change that.

Nah bro just change them at home or get a shop too do it it’s not hard too do at all on your own and the halogens that come are bad I’m ordering some led replacements
@@luker6766 I heard that just putting led lights without changing the lead lights are pretty bad ? Also does it affect the warranty on the truck?
@@xmicoz warranty yes cause most dealerships are gonna find anything aftermarket and if you have an issue pertaining too electronics they might blame it on your head lights but most times they’re laid back so warranty yes and no but as far as effect if you don’t buy it with the right harness it’ll throw an engine code or headlight code
Warlock is almost a different truck with different approach and departure angles heavy duty suspension 1” factory lift and mine with convenience group 1 comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and dual zone climate control also luxury package cost 0$ which adds upgraded digital instrument cluster instead of that goofy 90s negative cluster

All ram should of have leather interior. I bought my with out running boards never came with truck. At laurentian Chrysler. Had buy running at $800

If you want a bit more power and more towing capabilities, then the V8... Otherwise the V6 is perfect as well to cruise around in.

I prefer the front end of the Ram,but add the warlock hood,and the warlock has nicer rims. Dodge has always done a really poor job designing the truck rims. Always ugly without fail.over all,I’d take the black ram. Warlock doesn’t seem worth it.

Nothing worse than a woman or kid leaning all over the oaint on a new vehicle where do you train these people? Sales people that dont know not to lean on a high dollar truck is clownish you can speak all the options and knowledge of options price etc but you lose the whole sale when your leaning on the damn thing
