Thousands of junior high and high school students from Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles gathered at the StubHub Center in Carson, California, for "Christian Service 4LIFE" Oct. 9. Designed to inspire youth to celebrate the Christian call to serve all human life, from the preborn to the elderly, the event featured a number of speakers, including Archbishop José Gomez, actor Eduardo Verastegui, Holy Cross Father Bill Miscamble, and Brittney Sharaun, founder of "Burgers & Bibles" serving the people on L.A.'s skid row.
