- Watch as I sew a gorgeous v-neck dress with buttons down the front and shirring at the back waist and sleeves. This is the Belle Woven Dress by Style Arc Patterns (link below).
I'll show you how I've constructed this garment from start to finish -- including the key details such as the shirring and yoke alignment.
This design is made for woven fabric, such as silk, crepe and rayon. I have used a lovely green, flowy rayon here.
This tutorial is intended to make your sewing journey a little easier, with comprehensive instructions, serving as a solo guide or in addition to the written instructions.

From time to time,. I look at those sewing videos that have no audio, just someone point at fabric and then waving her hand around. It irritates me so much because it might be a simple garment but I have no idea what concept the hand is trying to get across. Thank you for doing it right and doing well!
