Actually , a YES cover band ...not one original member
I'd like to defend this line-up.
Is it the classic line-up no but,
Geoff Downes was first in the band in 1980 and was there for Drama. He's a qualified member to me. Billy Sherwood was first in the band in 1997 for Open Your Eyes and more importantly The Ladder which is a late career masterpiece from Yes. Jay Schellen was picked by Alan White pretty much and is filling his role very well. And Jon Davison is a talented singer, though he is the weak link of the whole band.
So while none of the members are original members, they have roots going back far in the band's history. You can't dismiss this as a Yes cover band.
steve howe's not an original member? sure he didnt join until the yes album, but yes became YES with the yes album. the first 2 albums are great but not master pieces like the yes album is. it's a technicality but in my opinion steve howe is an original member. like i think alan white is an arguably an original member. even though i love bill bruford and hated alan when he joined the band. but one tour later and i was over it. but otherwise i agree. with some liberty for geoff downes. drama is great!!!! but not a master piece.
