I really like this wallet, I used it for 2 years. During that time I felt there was something missing, I wasn’t so sure why it was but I felt it wasn’t complete. I then found the secrid wallet, I bought one and dam to me it was perfect I have now replaced the ridge with the secrid and loving it. The way the cards are installed and how you can take it out with ease, also the leather with the secrid makes it feel like a true wallet. I also don’t have to search around for which cards to use unlike the ridge, it is so simple and minimal hassle. Really like the ridge but I really love the secrid.

I have been looking at the carbon fiber one. To be honest I would buy a trash can if it was made of carbon fiber...I have a seriously unhealthy obsession with this stuff.

I have been using mine for about a month and I have loved it. It took a little bit to get to use getting cards out of the middle.

Excellent review very well spoken on your behalf ! I just got my burnt titanium today! I love it already , i wish the titanium was a bit shinier so it would reflect light better if you needed to signal aircraft in a survival situation.

I just got a Tamashi carbon fiber wallet today and it ran me about $22 and it looks really cool with the Japanese writing on the clip and came in a very tasteful box. Highly recommend.

This is what I've been looking for. I barely pull out physical cash these days. I swipe alot. So having my cash in the strap doesn't scare me at all. If I do pull out cash it's only like 20 or 40 bucks at Max. This will be my next wallet.

I got the carbon fiber one. I’m still having trouble using it though. I tried pulling a card out the way you demonstrated but it feels like the wallet is squeezing my cards and won’t let go.

Great video. I originally brought a similar wallet on amazon for much less and found out real quick that it did not last very long. It slowly but surely fell apart piece by piece. I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for!!!I place a high priority on having a good quality EDC wallet, so I wouldn't mind paying for one of these wallets if it's made of quality material's. Also a lifetime warranty is a plus.

I use the NY wallet. Fold everything in half wrap it in rubber band and put it in your front pocket. It has been around for years.

Comparing to the trayvax, which one do you think is the best?
My wife gifted me the carbon fiber one and its really cool. I have to I guess loosen the screws a bit so I could fit more card in it. It's super light and can not wait to use it everyday. Do you just keep in your front pocket? I will have to get used to that. Thanks.

Man now you and Last Line of Defense have done these and the Trayvax wallets. I am bad at picking!
The problem with these ridge wallets is that if use an ID to enter for example a secure zone frequently you would have to constantly take the id in and out of wallet instead of flashing it from see through holder like most traditional wallets have.
I wish they made an XL version that was slightly bigger.
Oh damn so i work at an airport and i use a card inside my wallet that i just scan to get inside the gate so it probably wouldnt work with the ridge wallet unless i took the card out?
Yeah same thing with my current job..
I used RFID blocking wallets in the past & they 98% of the time don't allow entry into the doors were those cards needed to be working..
So yeah, you'll have to take it out everytime..
*unless you place the card under the strap or money clip.

Amazon sells a wallet like this for like $10 and it comes with some stuff like can opener, bottle opener which can be inside your wallet.

So I just checked out Dango and Trayvax. I think the Ridge wallet is for me.
Shit!!! $105 for a wallet, it's beautiful but that's a lot of AR15 food for that price.
I might pick up the poly-carb or aluminum at some point though. Right now the minimalistic front pocket wallet I'm carrying is the recycled firefighter "the leather sergeant" and for the price of $30 it's excellent but I'm fairly sure that it isnt RFID blocking. But it fits well in a shirt pocket and made in the US. But I'm intrigued about this ridge wallet, now that I think about it the aluminum version doesn't look bad either. Oh man, if only i could just decide between ammo, knives, guns and wallets I would have something cool lol.
I have been using "the jimi" wallet for over 5 years but is not being produced anymore. I bought this one yesterday so let see how it goes. The only thing that is kinda upsetting is that the picture they have in their website for the "cash strap" option seems to have a really cool metal square that holds the bills, but I did not see it in the video. Does it come with that metal piece?

I just bought one that looks just like this for $15 on Amazon but can’t figure out how to get the strap on the outside. I saw another vid that shows one like mine that came w a hex screwdriver to let the strap on the outside. Def need the strap to put my office ID swipe card on the outside.

eel skin wallet. super thin and cheaper than a traditional wallet. It should cost more in my opinion. With 6 cards and cash, it's less bulky than an empty traditional wallet. it's worth checking out because it's like, $10.

You have to cut business cards to make them fit and you can’t put it in your back pocket. Doesn’t sound like much of a wallet to me. I’m glad I watched the review. Thanks for doing the video. I won’t waste my money on this.

I use to buy the cheap wallet (20-40 bucks) and they would last me 1 years ( sometimes less) then I'd buy another one. Then i decided to spend $400 on a Louis Vutton wallet to see if expensive wallet was any better, well, I've owned this Louis Vutton wallet for the last 15 years, it is a little worn out but still works. In the long runs the expensive wallet was actually cheaper to own. I am rough on my wallet since i work demolition/construction, they get abuse daily.
That $400 you spent 15 years ago would be worth $1200 today if you'd put it in the stock market. A rubber band has done the trick for me, even if I've had to replace it about twice a year. A carbon fibre wallet identical to the one in this video (minus the Ridge logo) costs less than $10 on eBay.
chesshooligan 1 rubber bands are not eco friendly. I prefer using long grass tie around my card and money. Biodegradable and I update it weekly. :)

I'm stuck between this or the trayvax Element. The only reason i haven't pulled the trigger on the element is the cash part looks annoying to mess with. But the element looks awesome.

There are a few knock offs of this wallet and they are the exact same. I have the carbon fiber knock off and I paid 25$ Look up Armor-Tac wallet.
