I bought an aluminum one in Navy. Love it. My wife hates it. She wishes I had some fancy Salvatore Ferragamo wallet but I am a man of simple taste. I like practicality and durability.
Same man my girl always trys to buy me Gucci or Louis Vuitton wallets. Tries all the time and gets mad that I only use the Ridge 😂

I still got my forged carbon and have not regretted my purchase since. All the other Ridge Wallet versions are nice but to me that forged carbon is sooooooo unique. I love it.
There are ppl who enjoy Hermès, Gucci, Goyard, Cartier & LV wallets. While those may be nice wallets I’m sure price point isn’t an issue for the ppl who buy & enjoy them. When it comes to me personally the most I’d ever spend for a wallet is probably two hundred bucks. So I could be in the % of consumer intended for ridge who knows. But what I do know is I love my Ridge wallet.
Had the forged carbon for 2+yrs now & it might be time to finally invest in the Titanium Stonewashed or the Forged Ember. You kinda sold me on the forged ember lol. Great video thanks for the upload.
I have the black Damascus and I love it. My old wallet was full of unnecessary things. This is much cleaner and simple. I like the look of the black Damascus better than the silver.

My favorite is the Gunmetal Titanium with the cash strap. I am thinking about getting my dad the Burnt Titanium or the Cobalt Titanium wallets for Christmas.
I have the forged carbon but I’ve been wanting to buy the amber forged carbon one. It’s always sold out. The Damascus one looks pretty good too and I’m thinking about buying that one as well. I never really liked metal wallets but I got a Telya ever since I’ve been using the ridge wallet I’ve never went back to anything else. I freaking love this damn thing. Thanks your channel I’ve learned a lot about wallets. Straight up you’re the king of wallets. The other guy is Walletopia he’s pretty cool too but nothing like crispy things.

No, I don’t think you can, but it shouldn’t be that difficult to just pull it out when needed

If I bought one or more (especially more) I'd have nothing to put in it because my bank account would be empty so there would be no point in carrying any cards.
You could buy the base model ones. They work just as well. Or if you’re on a budget, go to marshals and buy a $10 wallet like I used to do when I was broke 😭. It gets the job done well too
@@MrLazlness I like the wallets by Aviator better. Have you looked at those? Base model is around $70, there's a thin tray in 8t that slides out for keys, coins, whatever you want. Plus an elastic strap you pull up to get your cards out and you can fan them out to grab the one you want. Best design I've seen yet for this type of wallet.
I will mention that I have seen videos here and there that offer comparisons between ridge wallets to something that costs much less. I haven't watched said videos, but I get the feeling they lean towards the cheaper ones. While I will say that "if it works for you, then go for it", I will also say I'm a believer in doing research and the saying "you get what you pay for". Ridge is up there, yes, but I enjoy the Carbon Fiber Ember I just got recently as a bit of an upgrade for the Aluminum one I have (will hand-me-down that to a friend), and I will stand by what I said above for any that want to get a Ridge. :)

I purchased an armor supply edc wallet and was gifted a ridge wallet. Both are nice great wallets but I do favor one company over the other now. I would like to see you do a review side by side comparison of both wallets from both companies and hear what your opinion is and if you would favor one maker over the other knowing your a big ridge fan.
I have an Armour wallet but it’s the o eve here you can interchange the outer plates. Both are very similar in functionality and style.

So.. I ended up ordering the Ridge Titanium in gunmetal.
Solid choice. Just don’t put anything metal in your pockets (keys) when you carry it. It’ll scratch it easy.

The Damascus is not laser engraved, the pattern is the folds that are then etched in an acid bath to reveal the pattern more.
My mistake, I didn’t realize Ridge discontinued the traditional Damascus wallet and made a wallet that is laser etched to replace due to the care needed for Damascus steel.

And there are 2 Damascus models that I showed.
One is folded. The other is laser etched.

Forged Carbon, Carbon Fibre, Burnt Titanium and Damascus make up my top 5 (in that order).

I just bought the aluminum and im curious after a couple months has it scratched at all?
Am from the UK and I have been using the ridge wallet for over 5 years my first one was gunmetal Ali which I paid 50 quid for moved over to the carbon fiber one 2 years ago and been using that almost every day (yes tired other wallets like trayvax, dango etc) all good wallets in their own rights etc but for small carry ridge wallets are good I carry 3 cards and 20 quid in mines at any one time yes you can hold more but I carry my edc cards Id bank and travel and I have no problem with it 😊😊😊😊

Thanks for all your reviews. I've finally decided on the Ridge Stonewash Titanium after binge-watching lots of your minimalist wallet reviews. My husband has had sciatica issues and is constantly pulling his wallet up when he sits down. He needs to declutter and knowing he only needs a few cards with RIFD and a little cash I'm going to force him into the new age he forces me into with electronics. It will be the happy medium between his old wallet and our refusal to put everything on our smartphones. Appreciate your help and that of people who comment.

I have the best minimalist wallet. I take the cards that I need and if I have cash, I fold it around the cards. Works great. Been doing it that way for over 35 years.
I have a forged ember & out of all my minimalist wallets, that is definitely my favorite.

I brought the forged ember carbon fiber wallet when it first came out and i was soo glad that I got it cuz when u get it in person and shine it to the sunlight it’s unbelievable beautiful but on camera to me it doesn’t show a lot of what it actually looks like in person

Forged ember looks best. I ordered a carbon fiber one. I didn't know the forged ember was more durable than the carbon fiber until i already ordered. It's all good though. I'm excited for the extra pocket space that will be available.

I'm still rocking the ember. Was thinking of the dasmacus but ridge announced 3 new designs coming this month.. so will wait to see. Montana Silversmiths makes an engraved silver ridge clone wallet. It's nice looking, but not sure if it's ridge quality.

I like things that are simple and yet classic so my favourite colour for the ridge would be gun metal black or maybe gun metal green but ridge wallets are way to expensive in ordering to sort of test out the ridge experience I got a £15.00 knock off by vulkit that is very similar to ridge without all the extras and spare parts but may eventually upgrade to a rossom which is like around half the price of the ridge and nearly gives you everything that ridge does expect for the lifetime warranty which is mostly meaningless as wear and tear is not included and the most likely thing to break will be one or the peices of elastic but not for awhile if you look after it and not overstuff it which some idiots do
Bro they should definitely add the forged one back, it would be perfect to only bring to super special occasions, like going out all dressed up. Just keep all your best credit cards and big bills in it.
my ridge came with a really cheap screwdriver, nothing like the one on this video.
In my opinion yes they all are nice but I'd rather pay 15-20 bucks for a wallet every ten or so years. I'd rather buy a car part, tool, or PC upgrade ect.
