Avatar RDA edit with some Terran music

- The RDA from Jame's Cameron's Avatar are pretty evil, but you can't deny how they have some cool toys. I noticed some parallels between them and Terrans from Starcraft, so I just wanted to add some music over the clips to see if it fits. I think it sort of did?
Music - Terran Theme 2 (from Starcraft 2, owned by Blizzard Entertainment).
All clips are from James Cameron's Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water, this video was not made for profit.
The main problem with these movie is the fact the plot needs the humans to be stupid all the time and for the Navi to be incredibly lucky. In actuality, the humans only need to be lucky a few times, and the Navi need to be smart all the time. Otherwise, the first time communication get intersected by the humans and triangulated they will find themselves the victims of a orbital strike, and because of the patriarchal nature of navi culture just one strike that’s capable of killing their leadership will completely dismantle their unit cohesion.
If you watched the movies you’d realize that the RDA is actually pretty smart.
They did exactly what you described, drive out the leader. We have no clue if the Na’vi insurgency is still operational when Jake and his family left.
The RDA has literally not lost anything major other than a fishing boat and a a few dozen men, no biggie.
what he’s saying is Even now we have satellites that can see to a resolution 6”. You can triangulate a radio broadcast in under 30 seconds. You can launch smart munitions on the GPS cords of a captured radio as soon as the message is declared.
In 2170 when avatar 2 is this would only be better.
The task force you see in avatar 2 was specially assembled to colonise Pandora by force. And it took 14 years to assemble and 6 years to send to Pandora.
But they are failing in the most basic of tasks. Against an enemy with bow and arrows.
Last people to use bow and arrows against firearms. Were the native Americans And before that the Incans. And they are gone. Thats before smart munitions, thermal sensors, satellites, tanks.
The NAVI in real terms died out within a 3 months of Humans landing on Pandora.
Just 1 country on earth. Russia. Has destroyed 415,000 men in 2 years.
If the whole of the human race was weaponised and manufacturing for its survival at the cost of the Na’vi. They’d be like a bug on the windshield. A tragic inconvenience.
@@jugganaut33 what I dont like about the Avatar movies is that the Na'vi never figth an actual military force. In Avatar one its Security forces (that use old equipment iirc) and in Avatar 2 its a whaling fleet
@@jugganaut33you gotta remember that the “arrows” the navi use are fucking massive - bigger then javelins and coated with neurotoxin. That combined with their connection to the wildlife makes it like vietnam but worse as all of a sudden EVERY thing wants to kill you or eat you
@@No_Name-pd9kqthat is true but the film portrays them as a whole industrial military complex rather than the small ragtag PMC security team they are. I think it’s odd outside of the extreme plot armor of course

It’s not like the humans were kicking the navi out of their homes, creating an apartheid theocracy and then using the media to label the navi as barbarians, preventing them from drinking food or water, or even responding to their attacks with unequal force like how some country in the real world is unconditionally supported by the US….
The RDA just wanted to grab some unobtanium and then leave and the avatar’s job was to negotiate the navi to stop attacking the mining vehicles
For mankind, our species will advance no matter what

RDA needs to meet the real military since RDA is a faction of the military. The series of movies should NOT paint humans as evil doers. They are surviving their last legs from extincion. It would be nice that throughout the new movies we discover that things are not as they seem.
These characters has so much potential but then the movie is treated as a pocahontas fairy tale. On both factions there is a lot to do but the movies does not provide justice for such great themes.
