      Hey Mitch! I done the all process. I have a question. When I remove the cover, there is a cover gasket. My cover gasket removed, and it is qiute sucks to put it back in the same position. First question is in this case should I change cover gasket for a new one? (the is no hurt at all). I dont think so because its only task could be to stop rainwater come into belthouse.
      Second qoestion: are there any trick to fix cover gasket on the cover? Glue or something like this.
      Thank you for your video and for your answers. Greeting from Hungary.

    Outstanding instructional video from start to finish! This is how they should all be done. The camera lens was focused in the perfect position all the time, lighting was perfect, tools need to do the job, torque specs for the pulley nuts, and you showed the correct holes to put the different cover screws in. I knew I was watching the right video to do this job on a friends bike when I saw how you cleaned the inside of the covers before putting them back on...I do the same thing. Thank you very much for making such a detailed video.

    The local Honda dealership quoted $400 to replace the belt, did it myself for about $70, parts included. Thank you so much for making this excellent video.

    I was recently doing this job on my Genuine Buddy 170i and I have a suggestion for you, Mitch. Since your pulley cover has several bolts of different sizes, you must keep them organized so you can reinstall them in the holes they belong in. You can simplify things by getting a cardboard box, and using a felt tip marker, draw a rough oval in about the same shape as the cover. Then poke holes in it where each of the bolts belong on the cover on the oval shaped line you just drew. When you remove a bolt, put it in a hole in about the same place on the oval on the box. Then put the box aside, until you are ready to reinstall the bolts. This way they will not get lost or mixed up. You can also write notes on the box, like "this side up" or "don't forget the clip" etc.

    Great video, without saying a word, just the relaxing sound of birds in the background!👍 You're lucky, if you need a tool you simply order from Amazon. Amazon suppliers don't often ship to South Africa, and if they do, there's a chance it won't arrive. 3:11, those pins could be just a little smaller to fit into the holes. 12:51, Philips or JIS, although in this case it's not critical?

    This is amazing!!! I'm from Brazil and I've just bought a used Honda SH150i 2017, here in Brazil the SH150 and the PCX uses the same engine and transmission. So... Your videos are great for me to learn how to make the maintainance of my vehicle! Thank you very much!!!! 😁😁😁

    • @williamread720
      @williamread720 2 роки тому

      Here in Asia the SH150i typically has a 152.7 (153 class) engine, whereas the PCX's are typically 149cc engines that are found in Varios and Clicks... So here in Asia, different. Turns out its MUCH harder to locate SH150i parts as a result. But, if one does a lot of digging can find parts for other Honda bikes that work fit perfectly on the SH. For example, the FRONT BRAKE PADS are the same as the CBR250RR... Others (like CVT belt) are same as Forza. Sounds like Brazil easier to maintain an SH150 vs Asia, ho hum

    Everything was perfect except that the clutch holder tool I purchased had 1/4" dowls which is the same size as the holes so I needed to bore out the holes to 17/64". After that, everything went smoothly. Also, I don't think the direction of the face of the roller weights matter because mine were stock and the blue faces were all in different directions. Thank you for this very informative video!
