    Yes Kirk, nice video again but I ha e a question, does all those vehicles uses the same type of compressor?

      Thanks bro. But almost every engine use a different type of compressor. Example a Toyota 1nz engine compressor fit different from a Nissan HR compressor

    Hey Kirk , does a bad bearing damage the compressor after a while?

    I did change my ac compressor for toyota axio 2007 along with changing the dissicant in the dryer and replace with another solenoid compressor brand new, ac cool for 2 days and stopped working again. Can anyone comment as to what may have happened.

  • @cmixxi
    @cmixxi 3 роки тому

    If your AC was working properly but only the bearing was making a lot of noise...you did NOT have to remove the ac compressor and discharge the system to change that pulley. It can be done with the ac compressor attached to the car. You did too much work.

    • @KirksCoolAirAutoTV
      @KirksCoolAirAutoTV  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you for comment sir. I clearly understand what your trying to say. This is why a lot of technicians damage customer AC compressor because they are trying to save refrigerant (ac gas) and break off the customer compressor shaft neck. That is where the clip lock the compressor bearing. When the technician do so they only inconvenience the customer to buy a new compressor at their expense when it is the technician's fault. Why the compressor shaft Neck break off:
      (1). Once the compressor bearing is damaged it would normally get tighter on the shaft neck . That would therefore mean when it gets tighter the pulley would then have to come off straight. Failure to do so will damage the compressor. So when a technician try to remove the compressor on the car 70% chance that the shaft neck will break off given the lack of space. When the compressor is removed and placed on a work table it easier to monitor.
      (2). Once the compressor bearing is damage it always best to remove the compressor and inspect inside of it to see the condition if it's wise to replace the bearing or change the compressor itself.
      We don't like to cheat the work so we dweet the right way so the customer happy😁

    I'm not hating but this is stupid, video make no sense, you skip out all the necessary part, you don't remove the bearing and install a new one you replaced it instead. Plus you didn't show the audience how you remove the pulley. Therefore, video is trivial. I do all that at Jay's AC and refrigeration works at passage fort drive portmore

      It's obvious that you don't watch the video properly. I never say a new bearing. I say used bearings. Please note this is not a how to do video so don't criticize my video to promote your workplace . This is just a video to promote our work so that mean it will not show you all the information
