Great information! I took a guided tour of the library some years ago but got only a fraction of the information that is in this video. If only I could revisit Prague, would certainly book a tour with you folks/lucytours. Speaking of Battle of Austerlitz, might be worth making a trip to Brno and then to the site of the battle, plus also to see the Mohlya Miru (peace monument).
Hi Patrik! I agree 👍! You are well-spoken with great English proficiency and pronunciation. Also great presentation and friendly approach. It is pleasure to watch you and to be educated by you about Prague's very rich history! Please don't stop! Any videos about Prague's metro? Alóha 🌈 from Honolulu, Hawaii.
The cabinet with gilt bars in 5:10 contains "Libri prohibiti", forbidden book of heretics and also illicit translations of the Bible, made by protestants.
Very interesting tour, thank you!. The Library is open to visit as you did, or only to watch the salons from the door?. From my visit to the Copernicium, the experience is totally different.
You can not enter they show you only the first room from the bottom without being able to enter, the room is kept completely in the dark to prevent the light from ruining the books.
There is no single word about how to go inside especially there is no warning in the video about not to buy the ticket at the entrance. Sadly most cannot see the library, Because we have to order a special tour go inside. . You could save a lot of pain

Great video! You should do the Klementinum library next!
Very nice

Thank you! It is possible to go on a tour inside the halls but only with a reservation done in advance.

Omg it looks like in beauty and the beast
Working on a video about booksellers. Do you mind if I use a few segments from this? Mostly focusing on the bookshelves.
Absolutely! Just mention us in the description of the video and you can use the segments. 🙂
Does your tour actually go into the library? When we went we could only look inside.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
@praguetourguide Is it possible to read these books there in the library?
Only if you have a good enough reason. You need to write an email to the monks but it is possible.
Thanks for the tour. Too bad the public is not allowed to go in the library.
Thank you for watching! The public is allowed however in limited numbers and with a prior reservation.

I was going to visit this library, but if they don't allow the public to enter the halls as you did, then it's kind of pointless.
With prior reservation they do allow a limited number of people to enter the halls.
I enjoy you guiding, but plesa drop the music and saying guys all the time, we are not all guys
