Extended version of the Ymir Theme from Terminal Velocity.
I often find myself searching the web for awesome soundtracks to games I enjoy to play or watch. However, many that I find are the OST, which tend to be very short, while I would instead prefer versions that I could listen to at length. So, I've taken it upon myself to develop this extended cut of the original. I hope you all enjoy. - Ігри

I felt this so much 😂😂😂😂
Almost 30 years later and this song still sneaks up on me in many moments in life, gaming or otherwise. Terminal Velocity deserves a remaster so bad it's not even funny.
Unreal Engine 5 Remake with Path tracing
Totally agree
Fun fact: in 2018, an exoplanet was discovered orbiting Barnard's Star just outside the "snow line", which is the radius around a star outside which planetary temperatures are below the freezing point of water. In the game, Ymir was a giant frozen iceball, just like this exoplanet almost certainly is.
This game was epic on so many levels, and now it basically accidentally predicted the future.
I petition that we call the IRL planet Ymir, for good measure.
@@Suralin0 I wonder if we can contact the research team responsible for its discovery and petition them to name it Ymir?
I'm doing a Google dive as we speak to figure out if we can get in touch with them. I'm all for naming this exoplanet "Ymir"! Let's make some fucking history!
@@Suralin0 Okay, so the principal author of the paper outlining the discovery of this exoplanet is one Ignasi Ribas of the Institute of Science of l'Espai in Spain. I'm gonna try to cobble together as much Spanish as I can to inquire as to the possibility of naming this exoplanet "Ymir". Who knows? It just might work.
Just sent the email in my best high-school Spanish. Who knows? It's just crazy enough to work. I asked Dr. Ribas if he knew if there were a formal process for naming exoplanets and explained the reasoning behind naming this planet "Ymir".
If I get a reply, I'll let ya know! :)
Have you ever received a reply from the guy? I’m curious.
i have had this music stuck in my head ever since i played this game, jesus, like 20 years ago. suck a sick beat. would love to hear a metal remix
Literally.
One exists ua-cam.com/video/q5am_Hi8PzY/v-deo.html
same
Such a good beat I assume you meant! Hell ya, I'd play this game just for the music, had no clue what the game mission was, just flew aimlessly sometimes.

....I havent seen this game in years. Never had its full release...Ive only had the demo.
Same here. Loved every single minute of the Demo tho.
This game is legendary. Straight badass soundtrack
What a song!
2019 and I still love this from my childhood
Yep :)
What a masterpiece
The same people that made this, also made Duke Nukem 3d. Fun fact for those who didn’t know.
epic
YT algorithim seems to think this is Star Fox...
very addicting song if you can say so :D
Where did you learn to fly? =^_^=
UA-cam thinks the song is from StarFox lol
I plan on making a music video of "Hard-Flying" in Star Citizen. How would I go about getting permission to use this in a video?
No idea, personally. I don't own the song or anything, and I think under fair use you should be fine.
too slow... put it on 1.25 speed = win
