Doesnt this imply the existence of race though? How can they be Spanish if they were born in the Phillipines. White or not, that makes them Filipino period. Phenotype or genetics shouldn't have anything to do with ethnic identity

For Kpop/Khiphop there's Dok2 (pronounced Dokki) who is a half filipino and half korean who started rapping in the early-mid 2000s as a teenager. He's one of the most influential and prestigious rappers in korea and was invited of Bigbang (one of if not the biggest/most influential kpop groups) back when they were still being formed.
On the niche microcelebrity side, VTubers are fairly popular with Filipino anime fans. Several have made it big, such as Jurard T. Rexford and Octavio from HoloStars EN and Millie Parfait and Hex Haywire from Nijisanji EN (though I only remember that Hex speaks Tagalog, but idr if he's actually mentioned being of Filipino descent). On the indie side of VTubing, I can only remember Kaheru/Kahel. I'm not too knowledgeable about VTubers in general, but those are the few Filipinos I know in the space.

For Kpop/Khiphop there's Dok2 (pronounced Dokki) who is a half filipino and half korean who started rapping in the early-mid 2000s as a teenager. He's one of the most influential and prestigious rappers in korea and was invited of Bigbang (one of if not the biggest/most influential kpop groups) back when they were still being formed.

On the niche microcelebrity side, VTubers are fairly popular with Filipino anime fans. Several have made it big, such as Jurard T. Rexford and Octavio from HoloStars EN and Millie Parfait and Hex Haywire from Nijisanji EN (though I only remember that Hex speaks Tagalog, but idr if he's actually mentioned being of Filipino descent). On the indie side of VTubing, I can only remember Kaheru/Kahel. I'm not too knowledgeable about VTubers in general, but those are the few Filipinos I know in the space.
