Ghosts in SC2 are about as broken as the ghost army in LOTR 3
But you have to admit the cat fight between Kerrigan and Nova was the best cg cheescake ever!
Besides, only Serral consistently counters a dozen Ghosts with a single burrowed Infestor, and it's hit or miss, but Infestors counter Ghost in equal numbers, alá Thermy.

ShoWTimE is the best Protoss chance to win big events on LAN imo, he just need to keep it together in the big games. And a bigger balance change for PvT would help too

Classic and Creator are good but I don’t see them doing it, Maxpax might not ever go to lan, potentially Skillous if you give it a few more years but he isn’t there yet

I feel like the way to counter that first game as Zerg is to commit to a lot of mutalisks. Brood lords lose vs tempests, banelings would require better creep spread, ultras get blasted by the anti-armor, reasonable numbers of spellcasters get sniped by the tempests, and lurkers were clearly only about even at best.
There was a section in the mid game where zerglings kept that army back at home rather than contesting new bases, and I think in the late game mutas would be the only way to continue that pattern. Hyper-mobile mining denial and just avoiding that army seem like the best way to deal with it
I realized toss lost and its just a matter of time ultras finish him. Rolled forward last game.... WHAT?!!!!😂 Great games, great commentary.

The Zerg race is being destroyed by having the best SC2 player use it. If Serral was a protoss or terran player those races would be getting all the nerfs. Just wait, soon the terrans will be nerfed cause Clem is so dominate.
Zerg will simply be forced to adapt by growing eyes in the back of their heads.

Spoilers for the final game:
In the bonus game Reynor makes a Spire at 13 minutes (55:51), I assume to make a tech switch into Brood Lords, but then he spends all his larvae on zerglings as it is finishing up. Then he researches Flyer-attack 1 and never makes a single corruptor. If that extra wave of zerglings were Brood Lords instead then I think he would have had it there.
he was looking for the killing move. if he made broodlords instead of zerglings, the game would have slowed down, and gave a better opportunity for Showtime. But hey, we will never know ^^

I don't understand zerg players who go mass lurkers and then don't build nydus, at least as an escape route to avoid losing their investment?
Crazy right, Sc2 skill ceiling is high, but that's a simple fix
They are (were?) not that much slower than Roach\Hydra, can constrain former to some degree, keep you from derping into mines, etc., cover the retreat, but wrecked by snipe.
So you put 'em in front of your army and collide, burrow, tab to fung, you'll lose some but it's war son.

Wow storm is so weak in sc2 in sc1 2 storms kills any units exept ultras(!!!!!!!), in sc2 it's like making a smooke cloak i hate fact tos is nerfed in this game so much(!!!!!), i wanna play oryginal version of sc1 not that.. somethink, but unfortunately time never go backward.

Solar should have used Microbial Shroud in the first game. It basically doubles the health of your units to Tempests.
He also doesn't seem to understand that Corruptors when well positioned can kill the Nexus.
Just human error. Even with large amount of experiences you can't think of all possibilities and you also can't control everything like you would want.
Specifically, the time he used 3 Hydras to barely kill the Nexus. Corruptors could have been doing that. Or if other corruptors were elsewhere attacking, he could have denied more production while splitting his opponent's army.
Try using the unit tester and make 7 Hydras Vs 4 Carriers. The Carriers will slaughter the Hydras. But if you Shift + Attack move the 4 Carriers, while throwing down Microbial Shroud alone, (from just 2 Infestors), the 7 Hydras do kill the 4 Carriers, with Hydras to spare. So just imagine if Solar had made more Hydras than Lings and used Shroud some more, he probably could have won more battles.
The problem is that showtime can just storm the area you use the shroud on....
Micro shroud is pretty bs, niche spell at best, given Terran got the corrupt spell, now affecting multiple units, and persisting for 5 minutes, turning all your shit orange.
If microbial shroud did that it could be considered more than a bandaid for going too much ground .
P is brutal on the ground, Zerg has no easy answer in the air, broods are slow, Muta squishy, and Corruptors only counter Colossus on the ground and hard countered by Archon\Stalker, while Immortals may be the single strongest unit against buildings, etc., do the math.
