watching your channel is not just fun & travel. it's also knowledge & getting recommendation from you on these products that are needed for 21 at century camping. safe travels robt.
Thanks Robert, I think you need to buy a brass drain valve and use a stainless hose clamp. I would also consider adding a elbow to bring the drain to the edge of the trailer.
Just finished watching all 40 episodes! It took me about 2 months since I watch them during my dinner time! In my opinion, it is too bad that your visit to Southern California (especially Anaheim and Orange County) wasn't the best experience. Thanks Robert!
Thanks Robert! Really appreciate seeing all the behind the scenes of what it takes to keep your rig going. Like the footage from the new GoPro on the trailer, and awesome drone footage at the end, too!!
Hello from another Miami resident. Cut that clamp off with some cutting pliers and replace with regular hose clamp that you tighten with a screwdriver. Makes roadside repairs a lot easier. Try to get a long zip tie and secure the hose up so it is not hanging so low. I do not know why manufacturers leave these drain hanging so low where they can be impacted by road debris. I broke mine the second time out on the road.
Thanks for the shout out Robert great video loved watching you getting Mini Tini ready for the long trip. I have been working on the Roadtrek getting ready for the winter camping season in Florida.
Awesome video thanks for sharing, that drain looks awful low to the ground. Can you shorten it? Push it back up into the belly of the trailer? It looks like it is just hanging there waiting to get ripped off. Your Winnie still looks real nice after these years, that is awesome.
Hey Robert if you use soapy water, then apply the sicker over the soapy area, then use a squeegee to smooth out, you can remove all the bubbles very easily!
I suggest you add a 90* angle to the fresh water drain where it exits trailer, run a length of hose to side of trailer, install drain valve. This way you do not need to crawl under trailer. Great video Robert on basic maintenance and addition of new antena.
Robert I finished washing the 40 episodes in Prime Video. Your show is genius. I like it more when you got to the West and then drove back. I thought it was more entertaining. Your show, traveling around the country, was very relaxing and inspiring. Thank you.
I don’t know how you do it, but you can put up a video about working on your RV and it’s 100% entertaining. I enjoyed hearing the back stories of your stickers.
New subscriber. Watching your 2019 summer adventure on prime as i type. After im done watching this awesome road trip, I'm going to check out your new content. Love love love this channel already!! Your living the dream my friend.
Gooooood morning Robert! Thank you for the new video. I hope that you have a great day. We continue to keep you in our prayers. Have a great day! Fly pelican, fly! 😎🌴👍
I have lots of extra shower wall sections with the surface like that of your camper, like 1/16th thick. Seems a good use would be to cut 24" x 24" sections to place stickers onto and both sides are usable. The shower wall covering was also very cheap and very light weight. Thinking we can take just one small section along on trips till completely covered and that way we will always have the collection of stickers.
The old TV antenna on the right if you no longer use it simply remove the pivot the folding arms and antenna attached to leaving the base in place. Then you can fasten a short rack over the area to add more solar or whatever more you would like to add.
Thats what most likely wrecked the first one. I think I'd shorten the hose put in an elbow and lead it out to the side. Gain clearance and one does not need to crawl under to drain the tank.
One of the things I like about Robert’s videos is that he runs into the same type of things working on his RV that all of us do and he’s confident enough to share the mistakes he makes. Another thing - he doesn’t mind a sink full of dishes. I think most of the viewers here like watching a regular guy instead of the many know-it-all’s making RV videos. One other thing - Robert understands how to use voiceovers instead of being a constant talking head. I’m not a fan of seeing someone’s face for 20 minutes trying to talk over engine noise or high wind. Thanks for being a professional and enjoying your experience.
Thanks for the shout out, Robert! Glad to see our old sticker hanging in there. 😁 Shoot us a note next time you’re headed out this way. We’d love to show you around. Safe travels and happy camping! - Tom & Stacie
Hi Robert, My name is David and live in claremont florida for over a year and can you believe the house came with RV parking on the side with 30 amp electrical plugin and boy my wife and i would like a RV like yours. We going to buy a Palisade Hyundai SUV to pull the RV, I'm a fan of your video keep up the great work.
How has your truck done with all the hauling? The reason I'm asking is I own a Colorado and was thinking of getting a small camper. Any insight would be great!
I see from your drone footage L&P park still allows RV storage along the fence across the septic field? I have a feeling in 2-3 yrs I'm going to buy a used RV and store there....setup when I'm down in South Florida. Love that area ( less traffic, short drive to keys, Miami Brewing) and if you have to go into Miami, not too far. Like $80/ month storage fee ( cheap )
Very good handyman skills, of course most do-it-yourselfers risk doing it wrong.. ...Good rundown of water tank sanitizing which is probably necessary yearly ...That is undoubtably a county Park and maybe it is closed because someone got attacked by an alligator (it happens). ...Great drone shots ...what happened with the tight squeeze parking noise by house at beginning?
might be covered elsewhere, but curoius about if you found a powered solution for the gopro.... my gopro 6 and 7 both seem to crash/overheat long before I fill a memory card on powered connection on my bike.
I spoke to the GoPro rep at VidCon and he recommended an Anker power bank and I guess those have the cleanest power because the GoPro crashes much less often when connected to it.
Very good video Robert! Not sure if your wife would like me saying this, but am looking forward to your next 3 month journey, maybe the north east and eastern Canada.
Traveling Robert I’ll watch the episode and finally be at ease. I enjoy watching your videos, I apologize for not being a patron. Congratulations to you and Your better half on 100,000 viewers, and Minitini
That little plug hanging down there that you had to fix seems like it could break so easily...all the time...that would make me not want to buy that particular model...or is it on all of them?

Hey Rob Im subscribed to your channel and I watch your videos all the time, I must say I'm a bit jealous😂. I would love to travel more than once or twice a year, but it costs alot, how do I balance work and travel, so that I can travel maybe once a month? And what would you recommend for my first rv? Thx for your time maybe u can do a video on this so that more people like me can live the travel life. Thx again Rob🙌
Robert your living a great life. God bless you and your family.
Thanks so much, Robert! The best travels in America on UA-cam!
I retire in 5 years I’ll be 55. My plan is to travel the United States and see as much as I can in an RV.
I really enjoy your channel. 👍
Same goal also. 12 years until I’m 55.
I'm sorry but.. your Parking situation is just blowing my mind! LOL. RESPECT Dude!
You really are pretty skilled, if you can back your trailer into that tight space!

Hi Robert. Just started watching your videos from Toronto, great stuff - keep em coming.
I'm still looking for that ideal Tiffin Tofino.
Once they perfect it, I am going to drive it all over.
There's a sanitizer that brewers and winemakers use. I wonder if it would work and not be toxic.
Love your videos.
I love so much your travel vlog. Robert, you are the best.
Great to hear the story about the stickers. Thanks for sharing!! :)
USB (regular, not C) only has enough voltage for 3m run.
Aren't you afraid that the first high spot will strip that valve off???
Thats what most likely wrecked the first one. I think I'd shorten the hose put in an elbow and lead it out to the side. Gain clearance and one does not need to crawl under to drain the tank.
That's what I was thinking also, that valve will be ripped right off of there
Larry and penny is close to me. Pretty good trails. Just dont get stuck in the park after closing lol
Thank you Robert for all your traveling shows. May Jesus always Bless You & Your family! We love you.
What a great Park
Hahahah! "Neighbor thinks everybody likes his music". That's 100% Miami. Lol I've moved because of similar situations. No consideration.
That water valve is to low, you’re going to snag it on something. Cut some of the tubing and get a stainless steel hose clamp on it!
So what exactly happened at the very beginning?
I hit the awning... luckily I was able to snap it back in
Best opening ever.

This is where the next door neighbor climbs a 10 foot ladder, looks over the wall and keeps asking "What 'ya doin' neighbor?"

Beginning of this video was funny
That little plug hanging down there that you had to fix seems like it could break so easily...all the time...that would make me not want to buy that particular model...or is it on all of them?
It is like that in most of them. I've only had to replace it once, just because the plastic disintegrated in the South Florida heat.
