Which Halo Has The Best Firefight Mode?

- Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach, Halo 5 Guardians, and Halo Wars 2 all contain Firefight modes. Which one is the best?

This video took a very long time to make. Flood Firefight was released after I finished writing the script so that's why I did not dive too much into the mode and only mention it briefly. - Ігри
I definitely preferred the Reach firefight, because of all the customizablility. You can make it exactly like the ODST firefight from a health, movement, and ability standpoint. In fact, I took it one step further and tried to make it like playing as a marine. Lower your shield to 10%, increase weapon damage to 150% and play on heroic, or legendary.
Yeah that’s true. When Reach came out, I never really dove too deep into customizing firefight settings since at that time none of my friends really played firefight, just regular PVP. So I just played matchmaking firefight when I could.
When ODST came out I hosted a LAN party on my back porch with two teams of two split on different tvs. We were also chasing the Vidmaster achievement and got it that night. To this day one of my favorite gamer memories. We also played Lost Platoon for the reason you mentioned, VEHICLES!

small correction on something you said, even though the matchmaking servers for the 360 halo games are down, you can still play custom games of firefight on the 360! which is very cool even if not many people play the legacy versions of odst and reach nowadays
Oh wow I didn’t know that! I thought all online was down entirely for the 360 Halo games. It’s nice to know that custom games is still possible.
Halo infinite needs firefight
Yeah I wish Infinite had it. Imagine having forge made firefight maps too.
We now have it with full on ai forge and people are making insaaane maps with it

MCC wins, by default. 😄 If we're talking standalone games, I'd say Reach has the best Firefight, given the variety of game modes and players thanks to matchmaking. If there are two things Reach is the best at, they're Firefight and Forge 2.0.
Yeah I’m so glad MCC made so many additions to firefight like Flood Firefight. And I’m glad Infinite is finally reviving the mode with it being in forge too.
Its between Halo 3 odst, Reach, and halo wars 2 for the best.
I think if Halo 1, 2 & 3 had their firefight it would be between them instead for the best.
It would be crazy if 343 added firefight modes into MCC for the games in the original trilogy.

Halo 3 odst is my favorite, i love the challenge and i enjoy thinking of ways to get better at it, creating new strategies
Yeah it was always fun making up new strategies for each map and figuring out how to survive them
I prefer Halo Reach Firefight Mode since it had better graphics in the MCC. So yeah, I liked Halo Reach.

At the end of the video, I said Halo 3 ODST had the best firefight.
Reach, because when I matchmake I don’t have to deal with the bullshit of floodfight. When matchmaking both, I turn off floodfight because I will go to hell before playing that.
And I am better with reach than odst.

I didn’t play too much of it but it’s looking like the possibilities are endless, I have to try other maps. I really hope they put a firefight mode into matchmaking at some point.

@@Wuunderboy you can literally have whatever firefight you want and make it how you like it in infinite so it doesn't really matter or do you prefer it on dial up ethernet and the old clunky floaty engine also

Halo Reach and Halo 5’s Firefight are the best by far! Halo Infinites Firefight is a boring mess.
Yeah I played a little bit of infinite’s matchmaking firefight and I wasn’t a huge fan. Although, I played a little bit of custom games firefight and thought it was fun, that has huge potential.
@@asiansynsationyeah the downside of Infinite is that is misses so many weapons and fun vehicles in Firefight. I loved the huge amount of weapons and variants and vehicles that we could use in Warzone Firefight. And the excellent survival Firefight in Halo Reach Sword Base was amazing. King of the Hill Firefight is too predictable and becomes stale very quickly. Custom Games Firefight is indeed very good, but you won’t get any XP and progression there and that is what keeps me from playing it. 343 should implement those Custom Games ideas to regular Matchmaking.
