Idk how many other pinenuts are here but if you haven't noiced, this is one of the few PG songs that you won't see covered elsewhere when they do live sessions. This is literally it. And to add, out of the 5 times I've had the pleasure to see them live, they have nerver played V. Must mean something? Maybe?
Wish I could figure out the chords. Literally have no idea what they’re playing. I think it’s in the key of D but they’re not playing open chords or power chords. No idea what the hell it is lmao
It's a pattern that's a bar of 4/4 and a bar of 2/4 and repeated (exception being a portion, the 'if you ask me, how should i know' part, that's just in 4/4). Relatively simple, but this band is great at making simple meters seem really off. They play it pretty loosely, especially live, and in typical Pinegrove fashion, the riff itself starts off during and emphasizes the beat just before the downbeat, so it sort of always gives you that instinctual feeling of being early, while the band remains perfectly in sync with one another. I love these guys so fucking much. "&" does all of what I mentioned incredibly as well.
Wow. Such a different pinegrove here. It's crazy to see how far they've come as people and as a band
Man I keep coming back to this every few years. Zach is in his element here and it's so refreshing to see
god, i just want to experience this. the vibes are immaculate
This was like the second time I saw them at this show and you just kinda knew by the energy in the room they were gunna go far in the industry.
This is love right here. I've found it in Pinegrove.

The Montclair version of Size of the Moon is amazing
getting some serious Eric Foreman vibes.
