It should read how to play major and minor SCALES on Bass. "Bass Scales" are no different from "Saxophone Scales." Music theory applies to all musical instruments. That said, it is good for all musicians, including bass players, to learn major and minor scales along with alternative scales such as Harmonic major and minor, etc.
