Great video. Thank you so much for doing it. I have the same heat press and yours opens so nicely. I have to hold the bottom of mine to open it and it jars open. Did you do anything to loosen then handle?
@@SouthpawsStudio I like everything about your process. I would need to find away to get around the white streaks on the edges if I’m going to use sublimation. Thank you for the vid. Very informational.
Can't you just trace the koozie, upload it to design software, design, print, cut and press? I am failing to see the need for measuring and sketching a draft...
I’m brand new to sublimation and I appreciate this step by step tutorial. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you all the other videos are neoprene koozies so appreciate the video with foam!!
What program are you using on your computer?
That was cool. Where did u get the file from?
It was for a personal project, but I'm not sure where I found it.

I haven't done anything to mine besides use bearing grease on the pressure adjustment thread
Great video! I ended up with a line on the bottom. Any idea how to avoid?
I make sure to oversize the print and use a decent amount of pressure.
How do you keep it from flattening out your koozie ?
I use a touch less pressure than it takes to fully flatten.
I'mm pressing koozies as I type. My blacks are getting blown out. 375@40sec. Looks like I need to fix my ICM profile for darker blacks
Totally awesome.
Nice job
Thanks!
Wouldnt be easier or cost effective to start w black and a white htv? Thats alot of black or cyan magenta ink
Hi I'm newbie to sublimation. Is that a special sub ready coozie?
Or can any coozie take sub printing?
Yes, it's a poly koozie specifically for sublimation.
Would this still work if you started out with a grey koozie? Would the image transfer over or does it help to have the white koozie as an under base?
I would just use white, so you can get more vibrant colors. If they are polyester, they will work for sublimation.

Could you print a tiny sliver of the color and do the seams that way or would that mess up the print that’s already on there?
You could definitely do that
Awesome thank u so much
Most welcome 😊
I used black sub koozie and image was white and didn't transfer. What did i do wrong?
You can't sublimate on black.. I took a white koozie and printed it black
My koozie stuck to itself on the inside...how did you get yours not to? I have an order of 65
Mine didn't do that all. Parchment paper inside will solve that though
Did yours go flat an stay flat like the foam ?
He'll yeah
Where can I get this image
Honestly, it's just something I found and threw together. You're more than welcome to the PSD file of it.
@@SouthpawsStudio I don’t use photoshop thank you
@creationsbytina7057 I can't afford Photoshop and Illistrator, so I purchased Coreldraw and got it and Photopaint for $300.
are you using adobe?
Is that a sublimation koozie?
It can get wet!????
Can't you just trace the koozie, upload it to design software, design, print, cut and press? I am failing to see the need for measuring and sketching a draft...
That honestly seems like way more trouble than just measuring and estimating where things do..
