You got it right in the first try. Miku is the rhythm guitarist and 2nd vocalist. She started the band and was the original lead and only singer. After performing a few shows, they decided Miku’s voice alone didn’t fit the songs so they added Saiki as main vocalist. She also had never played guitar…so not did she step back from being the main vocalist but also learned to play guitar. She’s been through a lot in her life but is a very tough little pigeon. Band-Maid’s lyrics have a lot more depth and meaning than people realize at first and considering that Miku is the main lyricist, it’s really not that surprising. Don’t know if the person that made the request picked this song because of what you’ve are dealing with or not…but regardless the universe sometimes has ways of giving us what we need.
It's Miku and she sings solo on several songs. It's her band. She put it together and has kept it together. She has final approval on all things BM related.

Band-Maid lyrics are always a mix of struggles and triumphs and believing in yourself! Miku (the main lyricist) believed in her dream of a cool band as she says. They had struggles getting there like most people but they would not stop. The struggles in life only make the successes sweeter. Miku really has a way with lyrics. She encourages you to take the optimistic path; to see things in a brighter light. But you have to pay attention. She uses so many metaphors and play on words. It's genius. This is one of my top songs, mainly because of how they perform it live. But also in how it feels. It's like a hug from Band-Maid. It'll be alright. You aren't the lonely one, You're the Only One. You have the power. You, my friend, are proof. Miku is telling you that no matter how hard things are right now, you will get through. I hope you get well soon, but Miku is saying, "You WILL get well, period, Po!" (edit) ぽ
I can never listen to this without singing 'Oh you are the only one . I say you are the only one' . I love the cadence of those lines and even in the Band Maiko version 'Tora and Tora' when it's not sung in English, I just have to join in. Wish you well and hope you get through your issues soon.
When they did this at the Spin-off concert, for songs they couldn't fit into the Yokohama concert, each of them was inside a circular green cone of laser light except for when that dissonant breakdown happened and then the cones around Misa and Kanami went to misshapen circles. Love this rarely reacted to song. Thank you.
