I know I'm weird for this, but Tornado in Särkänniemi is my favourite coaster in Finland. It's simple, barebones, brutalistic, old and looks so terrifying compared to any other coaster, no matter if it's a horror themed one. Love that guy. Riding Taiga feels amazing but the lackluster theming and the fact that it has an almost 20-year advantage in technology makes me drift back to Tornado c:

And because the safety bar is placed over ur head, u Will be hitting ur head back and forth throughout the ride, wich takes away the fun of enjoying the ride. But other than that, its perfect and always on my list of rides when i go To Särkäniemi
A great thing about 'Ride to hapiness' is that we have it in a children's park. The waiting lines are so short for one of the best coasters in the world.
was there on Friday, longest queue time was 35 mins. most of the day it was never longer than 20 mins the family and kiddie coasters had the worse queues ever which is not great for obtaining the all important coaster credits lol
Actually rode both Toutatis and Ride To Happiness for the first time last week. They're both fantastic coasters, but wow, Ride To Happiness is absolutely incredible. I haven't done many coasters but that has to be my top so far, so I agree with you there!
Helix should honestly be on this list, the usage of the terrain is insane and it’s just overall such an experience going on it, the only downside is probably the boosters for me, it didn’t really feel like you were getting any forces on you in the launches so it didn’t feel you were going 100 kph+

I just realised kondaa and dc rivals are EXTREMELY similar. They both have 90 degrees to the right drops, with both having similar height and speed, although dc rivals is a bit bigger. They both have a camelback after the drop. They both have a non-inverting version of an element that normally does invert near the start of the coaster. They both have a bunch of whippy turns near the middle. They both have a series of ejector hills at the end. Their both very well received coasters by enthusiasts, often ending up pretty close in enthusiasts too 50. How has nobody else noticed this.

Juvelen definitely looks like one of the best family coasters because its actually fast paced and has such a good layout, rides like Wave Breaker really fail with that and its so much better on Juvelen.
Yeah. Juvelen might honestly be more of a thrill coaster than a family coaster, but I guess its also to say dont underestimate straddle coasters. They might be small and not have a super high max speed, but with the right layout, these things are whippy beasts!
I'm sooo happy that Taiga was in this video! When I first tested Taiga, I was so scared that I couldn't even scream and I thought if I even move, I'm going to fall down from it 😂 The second time it was still scary but I could enjoy it a bit more and even scream 😊

Kärnan as an overall experience wins out for me, but Taiga is a better coaster so I got Taiga at #1 and Kärnan at #2. The indoor portion, the queue experience all add to an amazing coaster with Kärnan, my #3 is also from Germany with Colossos (freshly after the refab, idk how well it rides now).
I think Demonen, Tivoli Denmark deserved atleast a Top 5 Cause it's so intense with the 2 loops and just honestly did not expect anything better than that

Intrigued by the placement of Kondaa above Shambhala - suppose the elements are more varied on Kondaa but Shambhala is glass smooth and the airtime is awesome :D
also the new "storm" in Norways Tusenfryd seems very promising, im going in a few weeks to try it out. its a inverted tripple launch coaster by Gerstlauer
Untamed is definitely a super ride. A well-deserved top 10 spot. Very recently I've been to Europa park and enjoyed every coaster they have there, but Wodan wad my favourite.
This video is the first time I've actually been interested in taking a EU coaster trip. Didn't think there were that many unique rides that we don't have in the US.
A lot of things are quite close to each other (if you are used to the 7-8h drives in the US). If you just go to Germany alone, you will already have ridden a big chunk of the coasters in Europe. Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Poland all border it. Only Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, the UK, and Italy might be a bit of a longer travel.
I personally think FLY is way better than taron but all the rides on this list are very good. My current top 3 is FLY, untamed and wildfire. I’ll be riding Kondaa later this year so i’m curious how that will place.
@@jefroid661 It made my second place! It is a great coaster. It didn’t quite beat FLY. That one is just such a unique experience, few things could compare.

There's loads of coasters in Europe I want too ride but I think notable ones for me are Helix, Wildfire, Untamed, Expedition GForce, Black Mamba and Taron (Taron looks mental)
In my personal top, I have taron just above taiga, but man I see why you put taiga just above. Both oh them are just too good in their own ways, and for me they are neck and neck, in the same level. This shows how good is the blitz model, cause it gives so many possibilities for the ride experience, and intamin always does it perfect. Btw, I’m surprised helix didn’t make the list :0

Phantasialand, Europa Park, Energylandia. That will give you a good mix of quality thrill rides.
@CoasterStudios thank you
"I'm not going to rate Nemisis"
Proceeds to rate Nemisis
Kärnan is my favourite, the theming is insane
I agree.
I’ve been mesmerized by wildfire, Phøenix, and toutatis so those r definitely the 3 I would love to ride in Europe
Where is Sweden liseberg helix?
So like a regular top 25 coming soon???
I think Demonen, Tivoli Denmark deserved atleast a Top 5
Cause it's so intense with the 2 loops and just honestly did not expect anything better than that
You're joking, right?
No
I almost thought you forgot my favourite Ride "Taron" but finally someone gives it the praise it deserves😅
Taron is a beast of a ride
11:59 i live in ”Kolmården” (it is a place in Sweden) and everytime someone asks me where i live and i say ”Kolmården” they Ask if i live with the tigers (it is a zoo) it is actually pretty cool to se Wild fier on this list, especially so high up on the list, i can littera take my bike to ”Kolmårdens zoo” and it taket like 15 minutes. Wildfier is nostalgic, i am afraid of heights tho, so i don’t know what i am doing when i ride it because i feel like i need to 💩 my pants lol. Just a funfact about me haha
Intrigued by the placement of Kondaa above Shambhala - suppose the elements are more varied on Kondaa but Shambhala is glass smooth and the airtime is awesome :D
"I remember when Vekoma threw Taylor into a trash can"
"Have you taken your medicine, grandpa? Let's get you to bed"
also the new "storm" in Norways Tusenfryd seems very promising, im going in a few weeks to try it out. its a inverted tripple launch coaster by Gerstlauer
Really glad that my beloved Phantasialand made it three times on this list :)
I realise Taron has grown on you since your first trip there. You should try it during Wintertraum at night, it’s demented.
Untamed is definitely a super ride. A well-deserved top 10 spot. Very recently I've been to Europa park and enjoyed every coaster they have there, but Wodan wad my favourite.
Btw they changed Fluch von novgorod into Flucht (escape) from novgorod
Have you ridden Helix?
This video is the first time I've actually been interested in taking a EU coaster trip.
Didn't think there were that many unique rides that we don't have in the US.
Europe is massive. Bigger than the US, and twice the people
😊
A lot of things are quite close to each other (if you are used to the 7-8h drives in the US). If you just go to Germany alone, you will already have ridden a big chunk of the coasters in Europe. Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Poland all border it. Only Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, the UK, and Italy might be a bit of a longer travel.
I personally think FLY is way better than taron but all the rides on this list are very good.
My current top 3 is FLY, untamed and wildfire. I’ll be riding Kondaa later this year so i’m curious how that will place.
how was kondaa?
@@jefroid661 It made my second place! It is a great coaster. It didn’t quite beat FLY. That one is just such a unique experience, few things could compare.

I have never been in UK, Kolmarden and Portaventura. :)
Ur not missing much over here In The uk only rides that r worth going on over here is Smiler Valhalla.yes Valhalla is a water ride but is apparently one of the world's best so that's y I recommend that
Ride to Hapiness is a Masterpiece, the queue themings awesome, the soundtrack, the atmosphere in the station, and my godness the layout...
Can you make an updated top 50 coasters list? Would be interested in seeing your favorite coasters.
GIVE US ANOTHER TOP 20 or 25 OVERALL!! I NEED IT PLEASEEEEE
There's loads of coasters in Europe I want too ride but I think notable ones for me are Helix, Wildfire, Untamed, Expedition GForce, Black Mamba and Taron (Taron looks mental)
Gee, whatever happened to Katun at Mirabilandia? Guessing that B&M has lost some luster
You're so right about "ride to hapiness"!!!! I thought I was the only one with this one as my #1 coaster ;_;
absolutely not
@@aridaje4345 "absolutely not" he is right for RtH as a #1 or "absolutely not" I'm alone to think that 😅😂 ?
@@timytimydrummer8608 your not alone to think that
In my personal top, I have taron just above taiga, but man I see why you put taiga just above. Both oh them are just too good in their own ways, and for me they are neck and neck, in the same level. This shows how good is the blitz model, cause it gives so many possibilities for the ride experience, and intamin always does it perfect.
Btw, I’m surprised helix didn’t make the list :0
What about those classic woodies in Blackpool? Never been there, but having a strong love for vintage wood, The Grand National looks like a great classic woodie, watching the video of it.
Where tf is Helix on this list?
Waiting for your overall top 50 😊
Great video 😊 I love "Kärnan" and "Novgorod" from the Hansapark 🤩
Ride to happiness was my first ever overhead coaster. Thats actually crazy
How was speedmonster in norway not on this list?
Because it’s a pretty underwhelming ride experience
Wait you made black mamba where is badder as Oziris, but you insert taron but not Taron on Drugs( Toutatis in the Parc Asterix ???)
I personally think, that Colossos (heide Park Germany) and raptor (gardaland italy) deserved a place, but very nice video
How are the station flythroughs from Phoenix and Lech Coaster in comparison?
Where in your ranking would you place Junker at powerpark? like top 100? 200?
Haven't ridden it actually!
@@CoasterStudios oh man. us finns with only 20 ish rollercoasters in our country always compare Taiga to Junker even tho they're completely different, but that's saying many have it in their top 1 or 2 lol
@@CelatraYeah I still have to visit Powerpark. But I‘ve already been to Linnanmäki and Särkäniemi. Taiga is honestly so underrated. And most people don’t even go to Finland when doing a coaster trip to europe.
