Space mountain vs The Baron or the Flying Dutchman? Space mountain loses. The original Jules Verne version might have beat those with theming, but this current cheap star wars overlay doesn't. Indiana Jones is probably the worst roller coaster I've ever been on. Flight force is in the other park that they specify doesn't calculate into this. Dark rides? Pirates is slightly better than Fata Morgana, Symbolica is slightly better than Manor Phantom, and then the Efteling still has Dreamflight which beats anything at Disney. And the Efteling just beats the theming. It's not all based on IP's that you might have grown up with, but to me, Disney's theming isn't bad, but just feels forced and shouting "look over here" and fake.
To-Do-List: - build a B&M - build an Intamin - build a dark ride - trees - theming - deeeetails - theming details - good food - sightlines - hotels (in the park?) - 2nd gate? Puhhh... much to do... Hope to see you in a few years!
After Danse Macabre and the Efteling Grand Hotel are finished, Efteling are going to build on a plot of land on the east side of the park near the other coasters. It's going to be the highest attraction Efteling has built (the area has a max building height of 60 meters, so higher than Pagoda even). It's a good amount of land so enough room for a thrilling coaster! Though building is not likely to start before 2027.
It was pretty obvious that Phantasialand would be your number one park because these days, enthusiasts usually call that or Europa Park their favorite park in Europe. However, I do wish it was a ranking of all fifty parks because now you have me curious as to where you would rank Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Thorpe Park, Parque Dr Attractiones Dr Madrid, Walt Disney Studios Park, Holiday Park, Tusenfryd, Legendia, Mirabilandia, Grona Lund, etc.
@@ageoflove1980 Just take the solo rider line, I tried to do all the coaster in Port Aventura in shortest queue time and didn't queue more than 20 minutes total. Been to Europapark before and stood in line for a coaster for 1.5 hours, to then be greeted by a sign saying queue time from this point approximately 2 hours. And it was hot that day so by the time we got into the coaster we pretty much all had headaches from the queue.
@@LustraGaming Then you should plan better. Europapark has a free fast pass system that works fine even on the busiest days. And great that you had a good experience with the single rider queue in Port Aventura. But some people want to ride with friends or family and like I said, operations are sub par, so it just isn't a good park considering the staff. Quite an essential part of the experience in my opinion. And just because you personally didn't expensive long queues on that particular day doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist. "Well I personally didn't get food poisoning so the restaurant must be fine!" Sigh...
I was really impressed with Efteling. I will always like the parks with the star coasters but frankly Efteling is the one exception. Looking forward to going back this summer.
@@alantrotter2077 This might sound insane, but I was so perfectly charmed by the place and had such a perfect experience, that I’m almost reluctant to return as it probably can’t live up to my memories! 😝
I'm a bit bored with efteling, but then again, I live in Belgium and Efteling isn't too far from the border so it's a place we often visited. Need to do some new rides there but somehow when I want to ride them they break. My wife went a few weeks ago and symbolica broke while she was on the ride.
Phantasia hype is warranted, I went in 2006 as a 12 year old on a school trip (from the UK) and at the time had no idea what it was, it was the year Black Mamba opened but I was too scared to ride it (big regrets), however the memories are still strong. Winjas and the entire wooze town (sp?) area was magical, River Quest was insane, and back row Colorado Adventure was the most intense thing I'd been on at the time. The whole park really had that other worldly feel, like time no longer exists and your life outside is on pause. Can't wait to go back as an adult enthusiast with my partner!
They kind of outshined themselves since then with the introduction of the Klugheim and Rookburgh areas. If you liked it 2006, you will love it even more!
@@patrickdroste8489 we had a dau where we stayed with german families and ate their disgusting food and sat in their 90s ford galaxy doing 120mph, but it wasn't an exchange thing
As a person who lives about an hour away from toverland, Efteling, phantasialand, movie park and Walibi Belgium I see this as an absolute win but Efteling not in the top 5 is criminal
Love to see that Efteling starts growing on you. What a great place and what a wonderful experience it is. Probably my favourite park after Phantasialand.
That‘s like the one thing that‘s missing right now. But I‘m more than confident that the replacement for Hollywood Tour will fill that gap in the most awesome way possible.
I remember finding this channel in 2019 and one day I got across Taylors first visit to Phantasialand my old home park, seeing it being the new Europe number one, after finally experiencing it again last December warms my heart with all the love for this Park.
Phantasialand is a special special place. My boyfriend and I have visited twice (2022 and 2023) from Ireland and we would love to go back as soon as we can. Taron just means the world to us- the ride, the score, the theming of Klugheim. I'd be so proud if Phantasialand was my home park, it's amazing.
@7TheE We love Black Mamba too. The theming is awesome. I would love our own little park, Emerald Park, to take a leaf out of the Phantasialand book when it comes to quality theming. ☺️
@@AudreyMealiff I do ned to scedule a long weekend to dublin need to viste that park its just so inconvienantly placed in ireland (no worrys i do love ireland).
I have not been to any European parks but based on your videos I would say that I would enjoy Eftling and Europa park the most. I like the variety of these parks. For me a couple good dark rides misxed in with the thrills is important. Themeing is huge for me too. Euro Disney is also a must do if I ever get the chance. Great video guys.
Yeah I'd say Europapark, Disney, Efteling en Phantasialand are the 4 must visits if you can. They are my favorite parks and I have the same opinion as you, I can enjoy a good dark ride and good theming just as much as a good rollercoaster.
It’s really hard to take a ranking seriously that has a Zoo with 1 top tier RMC above 3 parks that arguably have an even better top ride but then an actual supporting line up
@@schagerbaantje But Ride To Happiness is there, and I honestly found the other attractions pretty enjoyable too, so I don't really think that rth is the only thing putting it where it is
Been to 10 so far in Europe. I will be going to 6 more this summer in additional to revisiting some of the 10. My comments are: Phantasialand is the best park I've been to period. I agree stay on site and get the full experience. Efteling is better than any Disney Park I've been to. I think the park itself is great and their dark rides are among the best. Should be top 10. Walibi Holland is the one park I think you guys were a bit hard on. Good theming and good coaster line-up. The one park from the 10 that didn't make your top 25 was Holiday Park and I agree that it probably is the only park I visited that shouldn't make your top 25. GeForce is a great ride but the park as a whole was weaker than others. Can't wait to see Energylandia and Linnanmaki.
In EL, don't waste your time in the front part of the park, except Hyperion, Speed and Formula. Dragon is also worth checking out, but stay un the back part as long as you can, if you won't think that Hyperion is the best ride there
A few surprise placements, but overall it just shows the quality of parks in Europe vs America! I think you need to revisit Efteling again. Should be top 5 at least on this list.
Seeing Efteling 11 and Disney at 8 was a surprise. Then again this channel puts a higher emphasis on coasters obviously, which are fine in Disney and Efteling but not mindblowing. In this case I can understand their top 5 also quite well.
Hi from France ! Phantasialand is insane and gets a well deserved top seed. Europa Park, Asterix and Alton Towers places are no surprise. But most european park enthousiasts don't even put Port Aventura in their Top20 because we usually think it's crowded, dirty, with awful waiting times, bad operations and really unpleasant employees. We'd rather have Efteling or the Walibi parks in our top 10. Thanks for visting our parks and see you soon.
Energylandia is the park you get on RCT that's a fully fledged amusement park but you manage it and slowly turn it into an immersive theme park one area at a time. 😅
Hmm if you are a thrill seeker and like a really lively ambiance then yes i can defently see that. Also remember they are americans most of the eftelign they wouldn't get it. Its just to european.
@@arturobianco848 but the video title is best theme parks’, not ‘which European theme parks have the best rollercoasters?’ If we are talking coaster line ups then yes, many theme parks beat Efteling but as an overall theme park experience there are very very few that can match it.
@@ScottDaly-y1u You been to Djurs? I have and i was pleasantly suprised at how good it was. I still think efteling is better but then its me home park so i might be biased. Oops it was Farup yeah efteling i think is defently better then. Farup is still a very nice park but i have to agree with you there 100%.
I don't think so... but the presence of a top class coaster seems to count a lot in the rankings (except for Disney parks, obviously)...and Djurs Sommerland has fønix.
I was living in the Barcelona Spain area over Covid and got to head to portaventura a few days after they reopened so there were NO crowds and it was solo fun. I’d go back in a heartbeat. We repose everything at least 5 times
I didn’t believe it, but Phantasialand is really that good. I didn’t really know it existed until this channel inspired me to make a stop while in Berlin in late 2023. Utterly incredible, unfortunately Chiapas was down, but it was still incredible. If you go and you’re scared to do FLY, there’s nothing to worry about, there’s nothing that’s too intense and you don’t even feel the inversions. It just feels like you’re flying through a steampunk city. Even though Taron was good, FLY is my overall #1 now.
Wow really appreciate the Denmark praise from you guys, its cool to see the parks from here ranking like they do on your list. Honestly I'm surprised they rank as highly as they do, but I guess I'm just used to stuff here flying under the radar by the international audience. Greetings from Denmark.
I have to say i loved Farup and especialy djurs might not be the best theme parks in europe but the operators are probable the nicest i've encoutered. Only tivoly was a big dissapointment.
@@drdewott9154 O the park looks nice enough but it's very small and the attractions wheren't that great. Maybe it was just that my expectations where to high.
im from germany, my local park is phantasialand but im going to the UK next semester and SO stoked for this park!!! i’ll ride oblivion, the smiler sed nemesis!!!
Love to see my home park Walibi Belgium on the list! Also, MAJOR PSA: Visit Tivoli Gardens in the summer when it's open until midnight. It becomes a totally different place, and is currently tied with Phantasialand for my favorite park in Europe :)
I have visited 9 of the Themes Parks, you have presented here. But the best Park in Germany is still the Europa Park. Although I am living very close to Phantasia Land, I like the EP much more, just my personal oppinion.
Thanks for this great video. Really helpful as we're planning a European road trip this year (Germany, Holland and Belgium). Where would you rank Thorpe Park? Some great rides there like Swarm, Saw and Stealth. Also with Hyperia coming should be great.
Thorpe Park is another one that just barely missed the top 25 in our opinion. It would be top 30. With Hyperia and their new sparkle project, that will probably send it into the top 25 for us.
If you are visiting Europe in October i suggest the Halloween specials of Walibi NL and Toverland. The rides are opened till 10pm and they offer several scary attractions. If you want an unforgettable experience you should visit the Phantasialand Wintertraum special (Nov-Jan). The rides are open till 8pm and there are several amazing outdoor shows with lasers, flame throwers, 3d mapping, fireworks and lighting. The main street is illuminated by thousands of LEDs and the rest of the park is perfectly decorated and illuminated. Check beforehand if there are any holidays in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium or France during your stay and avoid these days. The weekends in general or the days between a weekend and a holiday should be avoided too.
As a Spaniard I am happy to see that the two greats from my country have entered the top. 🥰 Maybe you could try Puy du Fou in France, it's not an average theme park. It doesn't have roller coasters, nor does it have many mechanical attractions. But it is still one of the best in Europe. Just theming and shows. 😃
and it actually was awarded several times with best Theme park in the world. So definitely missing in your ranking. You might be so surprised by it. Fantastic park
@@El_Vendeano Nah, Puy du fou never had an award saying it's the best theme park in the world. Don't get me wrong : they DID won a lot of awards and prizes, but none of them stating it's the "best theme park in the world".
"Tale of two parks" lol, why did I instantly knew what park you are about to say 😂 I am suprised to see Port Aventura higher than Europa Park tho 👀 and not suprised by #1 ❤
We are on our long awaited European theme park trip. Currently staying in a camp near Europapark/Rulantica, then off to Holidaypark, Phantasialand and Plopsaland De Panne!
Not sure if they should rank that high but defently both in at least the top 15 they are great parks. (and yes both of them are currently still in my top 10 in europe i do think farup is going to be pushed out though)
My condolances invest in some fat passes. Its a beautifull park and shamballa is great coaster but if had to pick one park in europe that i don't ever want to viste again its porta. Having said that i hope they do get new managament cause it really is a very nice park its just the operations and park policys that suck to high heaven.
The park is absolute perfection if you want to experience a (batshit) vibe painted across an entire park. It's a masterpiece and a proper work of art. Visiting for the second time soon and cannot wait.
Honestly, it's so deserved not even a mention of Thorpe Park on this list, respect to you both. We live 25mins away and didn't go at all last year. Real lack of recent investment, poor ride reliability, short park hours (a UK Merlin park speciality) and absence or poor theming across a fair chunk of the park, there's a very good reason why we spent all our money last year visiting Efteling, Phantasialand and Europa Park. Hyperia will be a worthwhile addition but even that is half baked with a super short layout and very bare theming. A lot of these issues can be aimed at Alton Towers too tbh, although that is obviously a far more appealing and well-rounded park.
@@Forestgravy90Not just Hyperia, they're overall making the park nicer for the 2024 season. I haven't ever been there, but the park looks great and now will be even better. They also have a really nice lineup, and I think it will be better than towers this year thanks to, you know
Doesn't deserve to be there. It has gone downhill so much recently. Hyperia will make it better but its such a short ride thanks to the break run halfway throughout the ride to save money, despite the fact Merlin is the wealthiest theme park chain.
ALTON MENTION 🗣️🔥 I love Alton. I love how almost every ride is really dark (and then there's Spinball lmao). The coasters are great, especially Nemesis Reborn and The Smiler, and yeah, Nemesis Sub-Terra is probably my favourite dark ride in England. It's pretty much my home park (besides Drayton but I never go there), and I just love what they've got. Really nice to see Alton ranking high in Europe. Also, Phantasialand might be on my radar in March/April and I'm super excited about the possibility of going. It looks brilliant!
Roller coasters are absolutely not the only metric we use to determine what parks are the best. We value theming, dark rides, atmosphere, operations, and more.
There are parks in your top 10 where (immersive) theming, darkrides etc are pretty much non-existent or no more than a simple overlay at one or two attractions?@@CoasterStudios
Crazy even, it is such a beautiful park with so much for everyone. Only the coasters are not that exiting for the real thrill seekers. And then to put this so low just because of that is I say it again crazy.
I can’t give a top 10 to PortAventura due to its operations unfortunately. The shows there are next level and a major plus for the park but it’s let down by forcing you into buying it’s fast pass as a 2hr wait for a ride due to poor operations is really bad. Must admit, completely agree with every other one though, great vlog guys, thanks ❤
Totally agree. At my first and only visit there, we for example waited 3,5 hours for Uncharted (while it was saying 2 hours). Not because the park was so crowded but because the operations were purposly slow.
Totally agree. The thing is that imo the operations are bad on purpose so guests are forced to pay for express passes to avoid the 2 hour lines. It’s deliberate. It used to be great but my last visit was my last visit. Never again. To rate it above the brilliant Europa Park is a joke
Yep, I’ve been there 4 times and I’ve always said I’d give it one more chance, but like you said never again unless there’s a change in mentality from the management. I agree with you, I think it’s done purposely to raise revenue.
I had my thirth day for free didn't even go there after 2 days i just stayed in me hotel and red a book. and i'm a huge coaster and themepark freak. Its the only park i ever skipped on with a free ticket and a 15 mimutes drive away.
You know, I really don’t blame you at all. It’s just not worth it as it makes you angry, because you know it could be great if they changed their attitude 👍
It isn't a really good park and iám dutch got some really nice rides but for an american it wouldn't be anything speciale i can give you a hald dozen cedar fair parks and six flags ones that are better.
Freizeitpark Plohn, Tatyo Park (sorry: Emerald Park), Särkänniemi and Power Park, Maybe the two parks near Rome (Cinecittà World and Rainbow MagicLand), maybe Slagharen for Gold Rush or Skyline Park (the second one at least after they opend their rumoured Hyper) and then the said to open resorts: Universal Britain, Hossoland, the one in Croatia and the one in Norway seem to be the most important ones you havent been to, but you really have been nearly evrywhere! Besides Plohn, Emersld Park and maybe the omes in Finland, you have been in every major and big local theme park of Europe! Thats really impressive!

I think you made a great video! I am an Efteling fan, but I can totally see where you're coming from. Efteling is a park that isn't centered around rollercoasters. It is centered around fairytales, stories and theming. The story and the spirit of the Efteling isn't focused around rollercoasters, which probably isn't the exact thing you're looking for I guess :)
this video has just made be more proud to live in a part of the world with such quality, i like american theme parks, they got some great rides, but good theming is so much more important to me, i'd absolutely love to visit denmark's various theme parks now
Europe has so many good parks. They focus overall al to more on theming than thrill which isn't as much what I prefer but they still have so many parks for everyone.
Staying in the Charles Lindbergh hotel in April, it sounds expensive at €400 per night but you get 2 days on park each, 3 course meal, breakfast, fast track on F.L.Y, free parking and immediate access to the park from the hotel. When added all up it’s no more expensive than buying all those things individually 😍
@@ZdayMaverick89 no this was as far as I know every evening. Maybe not until 2am but I think until midnight for sure. But I dont know if they will change something in the next season.
great review. I agree with you, Phantasialand deserves first place. The park is still missing a wooden roller coaster then it would be perfect. thanks for the video ❤
the issue is it’s in an industrial area and next to a living area, so they struggle with acquiring land :( i do hope they get the green light to expand it and add more coasters / thrill rides!!! it’s my local park
Oh damn, was not expecting my home park Linnanmäki to make top 20! It'd be interesting to see what y'all would think of it in the summertime, but yeah it is really out of the way for most Europe-wide trips.
My home park being the winner makes me so happy ✨ And even though I haven't been able to visit many other parks yet it is very cool to know that the one I do visit regularly is so greatly appreciated 🥰
Great ranking! Loving that Portaventura is on the second place!! Us here in Europe are really looking forward for Universal to take it again and forever!!!

When I went to Phantasialand, I spent a good portion of the first day just looking at the rides running and taking pictures! Truly world class in that aspect, I've never experienced something quite like it! I was a little bit let down by Taron though, I expected more extreme elements which it doesn't have unfortunately. I really need to go back because fly wasn't open yet. However slight issue from my part, the actual quality of the room I stayed in was disappointing for the price. The hotel itself was stunning like the rest of the park but the bed, the sound proofing and the bathroom were all pretty average, you might as well sleep in a regular hotel and just visit the park's hotels lol
My top 5 5 Disney 4 Park Asterix 3 Europapark 2 Efteling 1 Phantasialand Efteling above Europapark because i have been there a lot of times. No Port Aventura because i have never been and dont now much about the park.
Efteling, phantasia and toverland are all three near an 1,5 hour drive from home. Bin to efteling and phantasia numerous times, seen it grow and seen nostalgia gow. Toverland I have bin like 3 times one when I was young, there was only the booster bikes outside and the climbing area. Nowadays outside is almost an full fledged theme park like the greats, happy to see them grow so rapidly. I have bin to disney paris 3 times, duinrell one time and walibi holland one time. Want to do way more in the future. Would love to go to europapark and portaventura.
I'm quite surprised Portaventura made it to 2d place while featuring some of the worst operations (and an awful Fastpass policy, and braindead investments since Shambhala - with the exception of Street Mission) in the continent. Of course it's amazingly beautiful, of course there's great rides, but it's such a frustrating place !
nice ranking, thanks for all the effort :) As a European I was surprised that places in Europe are more themed. I thought that was an original american thing now sloshing over here slowly.
Family trip next year, I have been told I get to pick one park and its Phantasialand vs Europa Park. Feel like this video answered my question but Europa park really does look so beautiful. Hard to choose
Phantasialand is most definitely my favorite park in Europe. The only downside I think it has is that the area with crazy bats and the former Hollywood tour dark ride are such a waste of space where you could easily build something like Arthur in Europa Park like a rollercoaster and dark ride hybrid.
"... where you could easily build something..." Sadly it's not that easy, as Phantasialand borders a residential area and has to deal with complaints from residents for decades now ... That's the reason why the area around the former Hollywood Tour and crazy bats is so neglected (or "wasted" as you say) and also the reason why there are very strict Height restrictions. Phantasialand tried to expand multiple times, but the residents fought hard to prevent that. It's their hill to Die on
I love that alton towers made your top 5! I am heading to florida next month to do all the parks but until then i am yet to visit a park outside of the UK. So alton towers is my favourite park and they are looking like progressing even further in the next couple of years
Nice to see Moviepark. I worked at Bandit last Season, it really grew on me. The Park is owned by Parques Reunidos (who also own Parque Warner Madrid) and is just used to make alot of money. The Moviepark officials really try their hardest to make it nicer and nicer, but they get limited money for that. They started with a Christmas special this year and i really enjoyed it. When they finally get their RMC bandit or another big ride its their big time to shine, since aside from that they do everything extremly well (shows, kids/family attractions, theming to a good extent.. )
@@brittariedel3446 the Problem is that Bandit (for whatever reason) is a real Fan favourite in the Park, so they wont RMC it (since RMC is also pretty expensive and studio tour just opened 2 seasons ago). It also fills a Gap in their lineup between the family coasters and the thrill rides.
It seems weird that you put the title “best themed parks in europe” taking into consideration that you put europa park above disneyland paris because it can’t be right, that was a judgement made based on the rides and not on the actual stories told by the rides
Great ranking! Just put Walibi Holland six to eight spots higher (with Untamed, Goliath and Lost gravity it’s actually better then Heide Park!?) and I don’t get the denmark parks, but I haven’t been to those. And dump MoviePark out of the 25 😂 Your 26 to 50 would also be interesting 👍
Wow, I'm kinda surprised about number one. I would never have guessed you would rank Phantasialand higher than Europapark, Portaventura and Disneyland Paris. But cool though. It's a park I love visiting frequently for almost 40 years now and it's been my first themepark experience ever. I remember when I visited Disneyland Paris in it's opening year I thought Phantasialand could never ever compete with this...obviously it can. But what really makes me speechless is the ranking of Movie Park Germany here. Number 25? I never thought it could be on this list at all. As much as I like this park (I have an annual pass) but in my opinion there is at least one park here in Germany that's better and that is Heide Park...and it's not even mentioned here...well, but I respect your opinion, I'm just very surprised about it. Love your channel, bye
I'm so happy that Trippsdrill is on this list - propably my personal favourite. I get that other parks are bigger and have more rides but I just love the whole "schwäbische" atmosphere. Also I live relatively close by...so it's the park I've been to the most. Europa Park didn't really catch me - when you do a 1 day trip you can't really check out most of the rides you have to wait way to long in lines and then the ride is so short that it doesn't really seem worth it...but I've only been there once, planning on going there again this year, maybe my opinion will change :) Phantasialand used to be my favourite but same as with Europa Park it's just not as worth it in the time:money comparising... 😅
Fun fact: Universal actually used to own PortAventura. It was actually Universal’s first ever park in Europe. It was called Universal’s Port Aventura when acquired in 1998. They rebranded it to Universal Mediterranea in 2002 before being sold in 2004
Considering it’s going to have the biggest rollercoaster in the UK, I’m really surprised you didn’t even give Thorpe Park a mention, surely this must be an oversight on your part.
Just the eftelings entrance alone should be in the top 10 let alone the rest of the park

So you say the Efteling can't be higher because it doesn't have a standout thrill ride, and then place Euro Disney 4 spots higher?
I always find it funny how defensive Efteling fans are 😂 don't get me wrong I love the place and I'm going in may but still
That doesn't add anything to the question asked, though
space mountain, indiana jones, flight force, incredible theming
It’s not only about thrill rides 🤦🏻♀️
To-Do-List:
- build a B&M
- build an Intamin
- build a dark ride
- trees
- theming
- deeeetails
- theming details
- good food
- sightlines
- hotels (in the park?)
- 2nd gate?
Puhhh... much to do... Hope to see you in a few years!
Yes, please 😎
Huh?!
When Karl’s becomes a world class theme park I can say I was a day one fan
Karls Erdbeerhof ist Weltklasse!!
Karls Erdbeerhof = top 1 der Welt!!!
Though building is not likely to start before 2027.
can't wait for the future of that park!
Efteling really needs a 'toutatis coaster' or even just a 'taron coaster' in that area.
@@erikvermolen8371 you're absolutely right, or something like Kondaa
@@JensGuido Yeah they should build 1 or 2 really extreme rides and they're good.
I agree that they need a big thrilling coaster in their future plans.
Putting Port Aventura higher than Europapark is actually crazy.
Can Voltron turn it around?
Agreed. Shambala is fantastic but everything else at PortAventura doesn't even compare.
Port Aventura is a shithole. Staff and operations are just terrible. Yeah sure great coaster... but what good is that if there is a 3 hour queue..?
Struggling with efteling being so low on the list.
Efteling for me is top three in Europe, but, yes, I’m just glad you were able to up your appreciation of the place. 👍

They definitely need a better signature dark ride

That‘s like the one thing that‘s missing right now. But I‘m more than confident that the replacement for Hollywood Tour will fill that gap in the most awesome way possible.

a half hour video from coaster studios? yes please!
I had night rides which made the ride all the better, also loved the Mamba even 18 Years after I went there the first time.@@AudreyMealiff
@7TheE We love Black Mamba too. The theming is awesome. I would love our own little park, Emerald Park, to take a leaf out of the Phantasialand book when it comes to quality theming. ☺️
Its crazy, back when it opened it was the first of the new era and now it still holds up.
Good luck to that too@@AudreyMealiff

I have not been to any European parks but based on your videos I would say that I would enjoy Eftling and Europa park the most. I like the variety of these parks. For me a couple good dark rides misxed in with the thrills is important. Themeing is huge for me too. Euro Disney is also a must do if I ever get the chance. Great video guys.
Yeah I'd say Europapark, Disney, Efteling en Phantasialand are the 4 must visits if you can. They are my favorite parks and I have the same opinion as you, I can enjoy a good dark ride and good theming just as much as a good rollercoaster.
Reminds me that my first visit to Port Aventura was in fact "Universal's Port Aventura". Still got a photo of me posing in front of the logo 😂
It’s really hard to take a ranking seriously that has a Zoo with 1 top tier RMC above 3 parks that arguably have an even better top ride but then an actual supporting line up
I said it before and will say it again:
Plopsaland is also way to high, without rth it would have been an honorable mention

Been to 10 so far in Europe. I will be going to 6 more this summer in additional to revisiting some of the 10. My comments are:
Phantasialand is the best park I've been to period.
Let's say top 7. I came away impressed with it.
@@alantrotter2077 Fair enough especially if you are more into thrills.
Thanks for visting our parks and see you soon.
i agree
"Black mamba is fantastic" -> cries in being too tall to be allowed to ride that...
Energylandia is the park you get on RCT that's a fully fledged amusement park but you manage it and slowly turn it into an immersive theme park one area at a time. 😅
Efteling at number 11 😱 Farup Sommerland is a better theme park than Efteling…..really?!

I have been to most of Europe's parks and for me also F.L.Y. is my overall n.1

It's a masterpiece and a proper work of art. Visiting for the second time soon and cannot wait.
See if you can avoid the holidays it will get busy then. also look up when dance macabre is finished cause its a bit of a mess right now.
0:53 soooooo... Just RMC Bandit and you get rid of a bad coaster and get a good stand out ride in return

Doesn't deserve to be there. It has gone downhill so much recently. Hyperia will make it better but its such a short ride thanks to the break run halfway throughout the ride to save money, despite the fact Merlin is the wealthiest theme park chain.
ALTON MENTION 🗣️🔥
I love Alton. I love how almost every ride is really dark (and then there's Spinball lmao). Also, Phantasialand might be on my radar in March/April and I'm super excited about the possibility of going. It looks brilliant!
To put Efteling at 11 is pretty outrageous, just gonna leave it at that....hahaha

@@ZdayMaverick89 You usseally get at lest half an hour before or after park closure. Just check it out before you do a booking though.
great review.
It quite funny because Universal sold port Aventura in the mid 2000's and now they want to add the universal name back to it cause its successful.
I’m so honored to have my Portaventura as my ONLY euro park, I didn’t regret going to it while I was in Spain, and I can finally brag about it
Crazy to think that my homepark is the Nr. 1 in Europe :3 Very good ranking!
My homepark is the number 1 park in my country too! I live in Canada :(
@@celerystikzSorry but I feel like since Canada has so few Theme Parks and mostly amusement parks just like Europe is a continent, you have to count all of NA as a continent.La Ronde and Wonderland are both decent competitors with all the US greats but def not no.1 in NA
@@EpicLemonMusic that's sort of the joke I was making lol
@@celerystikz sorry I am high
@@EpicLemonMusic how fitting, I was when I made the joke lmao
My top 5
5 Disney
4 Park Asterix
3 Europapark
2 Efteling
1 Phantasialand
Efteling above Europapark because i have been there a lot of times. No Port Aventura because i have never been and dont now much about the park.
Man Walibi Holland fell off compared to the previous time you ranked them T_T. Let's hope the Raptor brings them back up =D
No Thorpe Park mention?! Even Paultons got a shout-out but not TP! 😲 Hyperia is about to open aswell!
Great video anyways :)
nice ranking, thanks for all the effort :)
As a European I was surprised that places in Europe are more themed. I thought that was an original american thing now sloshing over here slowly.
Family trip next year, I have been told I get to pick one park and its Phantasialand vs Europa Park. Feel like this video answered my question but Europa park really does look so beautiful. Hard to choose
can you try and rank your top 20 US coasters!!
Can we get a part 2 but the other 25 that didn’t make the list😂
I saw you guys at Magic Kingdom on Friday! I was too shy to say hi lol.
You should’ve said something!
Phantasialand is most definitely my favorite park in Europe. The only downside I think it has is that the area with crazy bats and the former Hollywood tour dark ride are such a waste of space where you could easily build something like Arthur in Europa Park like a rollercoaster and dark ride hybrid.
"... where you could easily build something..."
Sadly it's not that easy, as Phantasialand borders a residential area and has to deal with complaints from residents for decades now ...
That's the reason why the area around the former Hollywood Tour and crazy bats is so neglected (or "wasted" as you say) and also the reason why there are very strict Height restrictions.
Phantasialand tried to expand multiple times, but the residents fought hard to prevent that. It's their hill to Die on
A few days ago i heard in a vlog that Crazy Bats will be transformed to an indoor water coaster. So they'll might give the area the needed upgrade .
When they finally get their RMC bandit or another big ride its their big time to shine, since aside from that they do everything extremly well (shows, kids/family attractions, theming to a good extent.. )
So, they are getting an RMC Bandit? That would be awesome. I will never ride Bandit again as it is right now.
I ve been to the Danish parks i don't understand their Tivoli fetish but the other 2 are really good and i'm dutch so pretty familiar with walibi.
19:22 Crazy to think the water park exploded about a week after this video got posted....
Heide Park is No. 17
@@shiraparaguas9273 oops, must have missed this one, thanks
Ah nice. Phantasialand is my home park and everyone who makes the park will be super happy to see your vote.🎉
I'm so happy that Trippsdrill is on this list - propably my personal favourite. I get that other parks are bigger and have more rides but I just love the whole "schwäbische" atmosphere. Also I live relatively close by...so it's the park I've been to the most. Europa Park didn't really catch me - when you do a 1 day trip you can't really check out most of the rides you have to wait way to long in lines and then the ride is so short that it doesn't really seem worth it...but I've only been there once, planning on going there again this year, maybe my opinion will change :)
Phantasialand used to be my favourite but same as with Europa Park it's just not as worth it in the time:money comparising... 😅
They seriously called Alex from Madagascar Marty💀
Fun fact: Universal actually used to own PortAventura. It was actually Universal’s first ever park in Europe. It was called Universal’s Port Aventura when acquired in 1998. They rebranded it to Universal Mediterranea in 2002 before being sold in 2004

Considering it’s going to have the biggest rollercoaster in the UK, I’m really surprised you didn’t even give Thorpe Park a mention, surely this must be an oversight on your part.
I think that future tense is doing a lot of heavy lifting in keeping it off the list
Im quite surprised that Thorpe haven't even had a honorable mention
Me too!
Energylandia is an accurate real life representation of Theme Park Tycoon!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
