Decent list but if you had been able to ride Superman at SFNE with the original restraints that might put it at #3 or #2 for you. That ride was nearly perfect back in 2001.
Intamin is OUTSTANDING! I've been on 10 of your top 15, including all of your Top 5 (I remember Expedition GeForce very fondly from when I worked in Germany in 2003). Velocicoaster and El Toro will definitely remain my top 2, and I appreciate your warnings about I-305 - even as a coaster enthusiast, that thing kicked our asses for hours after we rode it (still impressive though!). And yes, the launches of Dragster and Kingda Ka still get me nervous no matter how many times I ride them. (Unpopular opinion with you, I MUCH prefer Storm Runner to Skyrush. But that's what makes the world go 'round!)
Great list, Taylor! Are you making a similar one for B&M and other manufacturers? I must ask, though; how come Superman at Six Flags New England didn’t make it in? Even the ones at Six Flags America and Darien Lake made it to honourable mentions; are you not a fan of New England’s ride?

The sheer brutality of the 2nd launch into the top hat, the feeling that the ride is trying to throw me out of my seat with very single element, the open air feeling. Rode in the back 2x once at night and once during the day. This ride is a coaster enthusiasts dream.

Intimidator 305 is absolutely my favorite rollercoaster in the world with Velocicoaster and Hagrids right behind it. I even have a tattoo of i305 on my arm of the lift hill.
I don’t blame you I just went on it last week and I preferred it over twisted Timbers. That gray out and sometimes blackout makes the ride experience even better!
On my current road trip, taking in 5 Cedar Fair parks, I got to visit Kings Dominion for the first time to see if Intimidator-305 really was as intense as I'd heard - holy crap, was it ever! Over the course of a day and a half, I rode it 10 times, mostly in the back, and I grayed out EVERY SINGLE TIME! I don't yet know if I love it as much as Maverick or Millennium Force, since I'm still processing, but it was incredible.
It’s totally hilarious to me that I consider myself not necessarily a brave coaster rider, I love the B&M hypers but I don’t like feeling like I’m going to die. Yet somehow I rode I-305. I remember loads of speed and my screams being ripped away by the wind of the first drop. Definitely the most intense thing I have ever ridden.
Cannot agree more with Velocicoaster. On top of the ride being a total package experience and being very smooth, it’s dispatching and reliability is top notch.
Velocicoaster and top thrill in my opinion aren't comparable, that's like comparing a Honda civic to a Ford gt, its not even close (imo), I mean one is a 15 sec experience, another is a full blown roller coaster, one of the best at that.

Superman: the Ride (SFNE) Will be riding Hagrid's and VelociCoaster later this year, so it'll be interesting to see where those stack up😊
There aren‘t much Intamin coasters in Germany, in fact I have only been on two of them, so Taron takes my top spot :) The other is Desert Race, which has a super solid launch, but is quite short and, apart from the launch, pretty basic. Yeah I like the launch. It‘s the only hydraulic one I‘ve ever been on xD
Superman the ride from six flags New England not being on this list let alone honorable mention is CRAZYYY. Easily top 5 by Intamin, let’s just assume you forgot lol
First of all i´m totaly agree with this list, but if you had experienced kondaa it would be easily in there, man what an amazing coaster! It´s probably in my #2 spot, after taron ofcourse :), that first drop is just amazing and the first artime hill to, it´s just an artime packed perfect ride! Love intamin they're still the top dog. Offer way to good of a variety and can do pretty much about anything you ask for. Would love to see them get back into the stand up game.
Missing from this list (probably because it’s defunct) is Volcano the blast coaster, the greatest coaster Intamin ever built, and this is the hill I choose to die on
Interesting food for thought Taylor, where would you have ranked volcano before it was dismantled. With KD being my home park as well it was one of my favorite rides.
That and kingda la still being considered great like its boring and uncomfortable af. Intamin as a whole is heavily overrated though they get so much credit for making endlessly problematic (operating/downtime) I was fine with the USA being done with them tbh.
I suspect the restraints are far worse for taller people. I'm either 5-9 or 5-10 depending on the day I'm measured and while I prefer the T-bar, the new restraints aren't that bad. If you have longer legs, perhaps try shoes with thin soles and slide your tailbone back as far as possible. You probably need to separate your knees wider than the restraints allow. Or maybe it's not that.
I love Skyrush a lot especially bc as I've gotten older motion sickness has become more of a problem for me, somehow Skyrush was no big deal. I'll take those restraints over feeling like I'm gonna vomit then faint any day.
This is how I would rank the Intmins I've ridden. 1. Skyrush 2. Intimidator 305 3. Pantheon 4. Maverick 5. Millennium Force 6. Top Thrill Dargster 7. Volcano: the Blast Coaster 8. Fahrenheit 9. Wicked Twister
I only rode 4 and my favourite of those 4 is Stealth! I enjoyed all the Intamin coasters I rode though! Here's my ranking: 1. Stealth 2. Th13teen 3. Rita 4. Colossus
If you ever come to the US be prepared to be disappointed by Kingda Ka, Stealth IMO is superior even though it's smaller. Why? Because it's smooth Kingda Ka is extremely rough. Also I remember really enjoying Rita as well and I absolutely hate Colossus
I'd consider Colossus (at Thorpe Park) just bad. The roughness removes any possible enjoyment. My top three Intamins would be Stealth, Taron and Hyperion (in no particular order),, but the only US Intamins I've ridden are Superman (meh) and Green Lantern (ooooowwww!) at Magic Mountain.
I know your gonna hate me for this by asking this but what do you prefer Iron Gwazi or Velocicoaster. It’s been a while that you talked about this. I honestly prefer Iron Gwazi
Not even an honorable mention for SFNE Superman? Seems shocking considering it won golden ticket for 5 years, and is objectively better than SFA Superman?
Ngl I'm wondering where Kondaa / Batman: Gotham City Escape / Toutatis would place as they could all very much be the #1 coaster in Europe, depending on who you ask. (I know he hadn't ridden at this point, just wondering where they'd place)
I’ve only ridden 11 Intamins. My 5 favorites have been: Intimidator 305, Maverick, Millennium Force, Pantheon, and El Toro, though Skyrush my have something to say this Saturday😊

Personal Top 10 due to an overall lack of visiting parks with good Intamins
1. Maverick
2. Intimidator 305
3. Pantheon
4. Skyrush
5. Fahrenheit
6. Storm Runner
7. XCelerator
8. Top Thrill Dragster
9. Millennium Force
10. California Screamin' (haven't ridden post retheme)
velocicoaster is not just my #1 intamin think it’s ez my #1 favorite coaster ever actually a perfect ride
How about your favourite, now defunct/SBNO coasters or those you wish you could've ridden
Goated day when taylor narrates
Superman at six flags New England isnt on this list? I’m surprised
Superman at SFNE should definitely be up there
I don't remember the last time I saw El Toro at #3 in a *BEST* coasters list, let alone just Intamin. Lol
Love intamin they're still the top dog. Offer way to good of a variety and can do pretty much about anything you ask for. Would love to see them get back into the stand up game.
Missing from this list (probably because it’s defunct) is Volcano the blast coaster, the greatest coaster Intamin ever built, and this is the hill I choose to die on
Yess another coaster countdown videos. Love these!
Interesting food for thought Taylor, where would you have ranked volcano before it was dismantled. With KD being my home park as well it was one of my favorite rides.
Skyrush is fantastic if you sit closer to the lap bar it’s not painful at all
I’m surprised to not see Superman the Ride at SFNE. Has one of the best looking layouts I’ve ever seen
layout is great, but the ride experience lacks because the restraints are so bad
I think a list like this without Superman: The Ride can't be taken seriously.
The restraints ruin the ride experience
Nope
@@davidchapa4611 I’m with you. The restraints can hurt, but the ride is so good. It’s my third favorite Intamin and I’ve ridden some great ones.
What about superman the ride at six flags new england
maybe top 25
Superman SFNE !!!! Where would you place it
Might be top 25 intamin’s
I'm surprised I don't say Superman the ride
I love Skyrush a lot especially bc as I've gotten older motion sickness has become more of a problem for me, somehow Skyrush was no big deal. I'll take those restraints over feeling like I'm gonna vomit then faint any day.
I can’t believe nobody has said this yet, but Superman The Ride?!
😂😂😂
Come on, put all 4 Cedar Point Intamins on here. The first one is the best one after all😝
Velocicoaster 👑
1. Maverick 2. I305 3. El toro 4. Velocicoaster 5. Volcano 6. Old dragster 7. Millennium force 8. Hagrids
This is how I would rank the Intmins I've ridden.
1. Skyrush
2. Intimidator 305
3. Pantheon
4. Maverick
5. Millennium Force
6. Top Thrill Dargster
7. Volcano: the Blast Coaster
8. Fahrenheit
9. Wicked Twister
You don’t have Superman the ride just because of the restraints it is still amazing ride
I only rode 4 and my favourite of those 4 is Stealth! I enjoyed all the Intamin coasters I rode though!
Here's my ranking:
1. Stealth
2. Th13teen
3. Rita
4. Colossus
Stealth is by far my favorite launch I've experienced even having ridden Kingda Ka and Storm Runner
If you ever come to the US be prepared to be disappointed by Kingda Ka, Stealth IMO is superior even though it's smaller. Why? Because it's smooth Kingda Ka is extremely rough. Also I remember really enjoying Rita as well and I absolutely hate Colossus
@@AdamSmith-gs2dv Stealth also has much faster acceleration
I'd consider Colossus (at Thorpe Park) just bad. The roughness removes any possible enjoyment. My top three Intamins would be Stealth, Taron and Hyperion (in no particular order),, but the only US Intamins I've ridden are Superman (meh) and Green Lantern (ooooowwww!) at Magic Mountain.
I know your gonna hate me for this by asking this but what do you prefer Iron Gwazi or Velocicoaster. It’s been a while that you talked about this. I honestly prefer Iron Gwazi
4:31 Dang! That guy timed his raising hands perfectly. He didn't stop the launch but still had his hands up the entire time!
top 10 intense roller coasters you’ve ridden??
Not even an honorable mention for SFNE Superman? Seems shocking considering it won golden ticket for 5 years, and is objectively better than SFA Superman?
Not objectively better if you don’t like your thighs crushed lol
@@triple7marc yea but skyrush is deadass number 2, yk
No Superman at SFNE?
nope
Ngl I'm wondering where Kondaa / Batman: Gotham City Escape / Toutatis would place as they could all very much be the #1 coaster in Europe, depending on who you ask. (I know he hadn't ridden at this point, just wondering where they'd place)
I’ve only ridden 11 Intamins. My 5 favorites have been: Intimidator 305, Maverick, Millennium Force, Pantheon, and El Toro, though Skyrush my have something to say this Saturday😊
