People who hate pike are usually not cleaning it right. Washing the fillets by folding them in half the long way and scrubbing it against itself under cold running water removes the blood and slime. Done this way pike tastes better than walleye!

Hit Lake Susan in Chanhassen Minnesota, it's a small lake in the middle of the burbs but hold a lot of HUGE pike with amazing clarity. I have seen multiple 40"+ pike in a day out there.

You guys made setting up look difficult lol. You should only have to drill 2 holes, and saw the rest. Get yourself a set of tongs to pull the blocks too, and hit the block in the middle with your saw or the spud and it will break in half in 1 or 2 hits, it makes it a lot easier when the ice gets thick.
How close do you guys come to the Park Rapids area? I have a private lake with giants!

Next time drill your holes at an outward angle then saw at an angle to increase your field of view, That way you can see them on thier way into your hole.

@@ten98media If you have Pike, fillet the fish so you have NO bones. Take and cube the fish. Smaller chunks IE: 11/2' cubed. Use cooking oil of choice. Get oil to temp. Roll Pike in Italian break crumbs and Flour. Egg wash is preferred. Cook on each side til starting to brown. Pull out of pan and cover with Lemon Pepper. Your mouth will water smelling it.
