Try to fish for Steelhead. Also, some varmint hunting, like coyotes. Maybe spend some hunting time with Bobby Guy or Rob Turkla bass fishing. Thank you for doing what you 2 do!

When we sturgeon spear here in Wisconsin, after we're done we have to mark the holes with sticks when leaving. Do you have to mark holes when your done, I don't think you have ever said if you do that, you know in case someone walks/drives over it & it's not frozen, so they don't take a swim.

I was on a lake with my cousin many years ago and we speared 20 pike in less than 3 hours. We literally speared a pike and by the time we pulled it up another one was attacking our decoy. I only had 2 insanely good days of spearing like that twice in my life.

And that is why, when going on a lake, you don't trust the step in front of you even if the ice is "thick" as some people cut holes in the ice and shove the removed ice under rather than pull it out and leave it on top as a warning of thin ice in the immediate proximity

Winter Pike is very good if filleted correctly! Y-Bones are a lil tricky til learn the method! As good as any Walleye or Perch but bigger fillets!
