Yes! This is what I've been dealing with. It makes me want to shrink or hide my accomplishments because I notice the more I shine, the more likely I am bullied. But I know shrinking is the opposite of what I should do. So, I'm accepting the potential for bullying and standing my ground. I'm learning to spot the red flags, advocate for myself, and communicate with my bosses when I see the signs. I am going to school for a PhD to make social interventions from the outside into the educational institutions I've been a part of. From charters and non-profits to Ivies. I always see the social and organizational mechanisms that normalize bullying, but no one listens to me now. I'm going to get my voice so that I can build the environments that will denormalize this harm. Thank you, Ginny, for the article rec! It will prove useful💪🏾🙏🏾

    Hey Ginny!
I've been enjoying your Instagram content, I'm so glad I found you on UA-cam (via linktree).
I'm also glad you're talking about bullying and toxic workplaces. I know first hand how these situations and environments can dampen the enthusiasm, passion and confidence around work.
I am recovering from a difficult experience and learning to be more assertive is at the top of my list.

I have worked in Healthcare on the credentialing side for 15 plus years in non leadership roles. The industry has been typically female and non poc dominated. I have experienced the worst types of bullying working in these spaces that anyone could imagine. I am knowledgeable and well versed in my area of expertise so my work, the future of the company and patients I advocate for are very important to me. I find that a select few who have access to those in power try to cut me off at the knees to prevent me from excelling. Women in these environments tend to sync up and mob other women until you quit. It has happened to me and I've seen it happen to others. How do you navigate these spaces? I'm actually mentally exhausted at this point.
