Part of Hambinis branding is being childish. That's why I can't stand his videos, though they often contain good technical information. That he challenges you was all a piece of exactly this behavior. I wouldn't write it under his videos, there are too many Hambini fans who like the infantile humor, but here is, I think, a good place to point out that there is definitely space for grown up cycling videos.
I watched a Hambini video from 6-7 years ago that walked viewers through replacing a set of BB30 bearings, and it was great. No swearing or vulgar remarks. Just useful insight and guidance.

You are correct, however I have recently gone back over some of the information he told me over the years and it’s surprising how much of it turns out to be false. He is not to be trusted when it comes to anything technical, always check it.
We are "all" in a fight for survival at this moment. Of course the vast majority aren't aware of it. Rational people don't get whipped into a frenzy over trivialities. There's very dark days ahead. Save your energy. You'll need it.

Martial artist here. I have been trained to go for the eyes, groin, knee joints, sternum etc. None of this is allowed in MMA for good reason because they can be lethal or disfigure someone for life. I was also trained to avoid fighting and retreat if possible because no-one wins in a fight. I started my training in 1983 and haven't needed to fight anyone since despite being challenged. The latest challenge was from a motorist who did a very close pass to my bike. He ran after me but couldn't outrun a road bike.
CAGE is basically like Quake 3 Arena, if you remember that from back 20 years ago, a little different. It's out on Steam. Though i have no clue whether he means that in particular.

Kev was a welder, big dude 6'2" 120kg (couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag) and on this occasion another even bigger dude (massive calloused hands, obviously seriously strong) who over a period of about hour he worked his way down the bar until he's right beside us. It was clear what was going to happen next. Aggressive pointing, hanging shit, derogatory comments to my sister and so I politely asked him not to point or make aggressive gestures. We're just here for a good time. I'm on holidays not looking for a fight. I'm the smallest at just 84kg 5'11" but I've got a few years of boxing and BJJ under my belt. But it didn't stop. It escalated to the point where we're exchanging wrist grabs. He's grabbing mine, I'm breaking his grip and returning the favour. This happens 3 or 4 times before he grabs my wrist and literally picks me up off the floor towards him (whilst still sitting on the bar stool) and I touch down right up close to him. That's when he gave me his arm. In the air time I had broken his grip again, had his thumb/hand in a trigger grip with my right hand and my left hand was cupping under his elbow. At that point he realised that I was about to break his thumb/wrist and dislocate his shoulder. We're practically face to face and I say to him "we don't have to do this you know"....he took a moment and nodded slowly. I let him go and he got up and left the pub. My biggest fear was that if he hit me it would knock me clear into the next week. Why his big right hand didn't come over the top I can only surmise that it was the shock of how rapidly the situation changed whilst I was in the air. If he did though I was definitely taking his arm away permanently. Thank christ reason and logic prevailed so we could get back to drinking and having a good time.
I know how you pair can settle this - how about, a mix of road cycling and Road Rash (the early 1990s video game) - you and Hambini ride up Mount Ventoux and the one other rule is - you have to try fight each other with chains and fists whilst on bikes, not whilst off

I have a whole comment thread on one of his videos about being able to remove bearings. Some commenters even came in with life stories of having changed bearings their whole life. I literally quoted a paper on lateral forces of bearing tolerances and what bearings are typically subjected to during extraction which were by order of magnitude less than what they could happily tolerate. it was staggering how many seemingly intelligent people were commenting having not read any of what I had said. heads full of swill.

my daughter practiced Japanese fighting very seriously, and as you said, they were told again and again to avoid fighting when ever possible - it’s only the last thing if you are in real danger! Have always in mind, a fight could result in one of you being killed… Hambini is a clown - he knows one thing or two about cycling tech, but not nearly as much as he is thinking. And he makes views and followers by attacking and harassing others all the time - but if he is criticized only a tiny bit he gets furious. Challenging one for physical fight over arguing… REALLY? How dumb is that - 5 yo kids may do that, but a grown man? Ignore that clown…

No offense, studying (and practicing) martial arts/fighting styles, in the past, does not make you proficient in that skill set currently if you haven't participated in it consistently. One of my Sensei's once told me, that the best martial artist or warrior, is the one who will win a fight before it ever becomes a physical interaction. All this, over a bearing puller ??? The reality is that you can pull/push those out with a C-clamp and some scrap wood, or even with pliers or visegrips. Plenty of people have done that in the past. No need to get into a physical altercation. Everyone has the right to their opinion. But, good luck in whatever option you choose.
