  • Just a quick review for this product and us applying it, we're using it to protect a timber structure we have built, there's a darker brown version available as well. The light brown looks nice even after a single coat, you can also do more if needed, you will want to wear old clothes, gloves to protect your hands and also put down a sheet to cover up plants/paths if needed to as it's oil-based.

    I have found this okay but does take around 6 hours to dry if its warmish day. The new product to replace this Creosolve dries really quick its around 15c outside today and dries within an hour and virtually no smell. I have no idea how long it will last compared with crecote

    Started on my fence today. In bed can still smell it on me lol but can't wait to see the finish.

      a number of years, better than a standard shed/fence paint

      I’ve decided to use it at least every two years, I left the last coat for three years and it’s looking pretty ropey at the bottom of shed and fences.
