While Creocote leaves a neat finish that's very similar to the original product, there are some key differences that could be a deal breaker.

Thank you. This was really useful. I painted my garden fence 25 years ago with creosote and didn't know it had since been taken off the shelves. I didn't know what to use to rejuvenate the fence, this has answered my question.

Also takes a good while to soak in between coats. 24-48hrs.
Only done the bottom of my ground posts with this product to see if it gives them that little bit more protection - the exposed parrot of my fencing I'll just use some weatherproof paint like ducksback.
