It's really worth mentioning that the Avatar of Khaine statue is fully animated all the time with no prayers from turn 3 onward, and with certain build options you can get that down to turn 1. You don't need to be praying ever if you don't want to, and he's a VERY good 180 point beatstick behemoth on or off the Cauldron base. On the Cauldron he's got more wounds but his profile (critically, his movement speed) decays with damage, independently he's more fragile but works at full power till he drops.
I think it's super cool that one kit can make several different units. I can customize one kit to be several or I can just easily buy several of the same kit or box and not be wasting money on repeats on a box set.
My daughter just got into age of sigmar with our merry band of rpg'ers & wargamers :). She was interested in DoK for her own army, so figured i'd do some research. Naturally i come to your channel as (imo) it is the best one out there for me. Been learning alot about DoK and this sounds like a good place to start. Taking her to GW next month to start collecting her 1st mini's ;). Thx again for all your hard work man. it is appreciated.

I really enjoyed watching all your videos about Daughters of Khaine! Great job, thanks mate! It convinced me playing them. I love the models and the lore. I think I am going to buy the Shadow and Pain box since it's going to add interesting models for my Slaanesh army as well. I'd love to build a temple based almost exclusively around Scathborn, using some sisters of slaughters with bucklers not only as emissaries so that they don't have to show any Khinerai and even less Melusai but they'd also use those aelves as meat shields to protect Morathi's precious creations. The thing is I have no idea how I would name that temple because they seem to be using weird "aelf" names. What do you guys think? Any ressource I could use? :)
Just getting started with DoK and this was a Godsent. And just lost our dogs in Feb :( i really feel ya there. Loved this video. Got my hands on 2 Covens boxsets and Morathi as well as 2 boxes of Doomfire Warlocks. Its a good start and got it for $350 CAN. Felt like i got a great deal. Either way great video.
I'm currently collecting storm cast eternals and I've purchased the 2 player starter set and the blightwars set. The one thing I'm having trouble with is picking heros and using them in what capacity. Also should I go 2 units of 10 liberators or 3 units of 5 I will also have a unit of 5 vanguard raptors. Thanks
I'm getting into Warcry (thank you friend group who plays it and got me interested because I like minis and give me a group of murdery snake women and I am a happy chappie), and I've got a nice little group of Melusai, along with a few witch aelves and a single sister of slaughter. Eventually I'm going to nab me a squad of Khaineri. But for now, murder sneks.
I'm getting too many flashbacks of this army slaughtering me in games. I'm not going to go on about the nerf now situation for DOK. But they are a very unforgiving army to fight against.
Business is business so of course they withdrew that blood coven at the same time DoK were released, but after the dust is settled a little bit, I am sure they release it again:)

Good video. One thing I'd like to see more of is shots of the minis. Like not just in the box reviews, but also during the lore videos.

Love those models but agree too expensive to build a 2000 pt army. Just thinking a way to mix with my stormcast army.
