Wow…what a massive over reaction at the request of a corporation. Classic paranoia. However, I bet you wouldn’t see two cops if your home were being burgled. Who exactly are they serving? Its certainly not us.
Of course I know why you've been called, it's because I've broken the law,( allegedly). So now you've asked, I'm going to incriminate myself. 🙄. The answer I'd love to give, but would just make them vindictive is: " You're here because you are bored." (That mostly applies to stopped whilst driving at odd hours------ , been there done that.)
I'd like to think that if my house ever got burgled, Plod would come screaming into he street and catch them red-handed, but I suspect I may see a PCSO days later who'd just want to give me a crime number for the insurer. Corporations take priority over people.
Corporate Officers responding to a corporation's in distress, I said they changed from Policeman/Woman to Police Officers as a corporate employer, as opposed to what we the public are led to believe.
again its a call handler issue, sending 2 units out for a man with a camera! they should be trained to ask to the right questions and if it goes along the lines of " what is the man with a camera doing?" " Filming" well thats not illegal. I would expect that if the answer is something illegal then they can send 2 units.
Police, fire brigade, ambulance are all dispatched to incidents by a dispatcher who, in turn, responds to a call from the public or business. Only the original caller knows the situation on the ground, and a dispatcher would have to rely on that information. Imagine if you called in to report a fire or serious accident and a dispatcher wanted to confirm all the details and be convinced of them before deciding to dispatch a unit. We can't have it both ways. That's not to say that there doesn't appear to be a bias towards business interests, but you can't blame the responders for that. That officer was right when he said that they have to attend when they are dispatched to an incident.
A good interaction by the 1st car, well mannered and ‘appropriate’ to the situation. No sign of overwhelming ego by either of the officers. A breath of fresh air.
Wow. Nice police car. And yes really like that livery. Nice wheels too. The police where really good with you actually. The police actually relied more on there senses. Discernment, and perception. That's the best way to police really. The law is one thing. But common sense, perception, intuition, sense and discernment together with discretion is the best way to police. It's a bit more humble and less authoritarian. Fascinating channel DJ. AB also said your a top auditor and he loves to watch your videos. Auditing is changing the UK 🇬🇧 in a very positive way. Really hope that businesses and police interact with the public with a better sense of unity. As opposed to some much division. We are all human at the end of the day. Love your videos PJ! 😃 A top auditor! - (According to AB!). & Me.
Nice to see you visit my home town :) !! They don't have any police based at the council building anymore in lichfield they've been moved to other staffordshire buildings, they don't even have many of their own council staff based in their anymore most of them now work remotely from home. Not sure if the building will ever open back up for public use.
The police need to be told that their body armour is not for them to put their hands into, it looks slovenly and does not really make it easy for them to react if they are threatened.
This is what I love about dj he’s not a arse when it comes to police and such . Only does it when people get funny with him . Best kind of auditing unlike some who just can’t wait to kick off at the police and call them sausages
The thing that gets me about "auditors" is how they act surprised when the police get called on them filming sensitive stuff. Yes, you can film anything you see, but it's suspicious to film a police station or van loading huge amounts of cash. Same as if I randomly stop and stare at someone in the street. I can do it, sure. But does it warrant suspicion? Hell yeah it does
It's actually funny. These "auditors" and their myriad of supporters like the ones posting here, live in a little world all of their own. Totally oblivious to the problems they create. All this guy achieved was dragging some police officers away from doing useful police work. But no-one mentions that.
That was quite funny actually, two units called in to potentially protect hundreds of fake money that has no real value, toilet paper has more value which was proved post plandemic. At least they're doing their job well. Thank you DJ for sharing this 😁❤️
My daughter delivers pizzas on an evening, about 6 months ago she got stopped by a smackhead junky standing in the middle of the road and started to smash her car up , she panicked but had the good sense to call the police (personally I’d have just run him over). She’s still waiting for the police to turn up now.
i LOVE YOUR CHANNEL Really pleased the way this audit went via the police I'm a manager in a supermarket and one day the guy carrying the money they have a scanner with them well it fell in a cleaners bucket And the boxes of money if forced will coer all the money and anyone near in a dye , I tried to get the van to back up as it's need's to by something like 20 foot then the van's tracker takes over , This is if someone ever tried to take one off the road the money would not be any good as you would open it miles away and the dye would spoil it Going back, The van driver would not move , Never opened his window nothing , I shouted to his mate , He won't move so he came out the emeergeny door and was carrying it like a bomb seeing this the driver then thought it's real and reversed back But they normally have a slider at the back door , Slide the box in and a person in the van in the back marks where its from So driver runner man in van Must be what Boris is talking about zero crime area lol
From my experience they do not respons to public's call as quick. I have been attacked on my way to work some time ago it took them over a hour to get there taking to account police station was 5 minutes walking from there.
Couple of decent coppers ,no sign of any EGO’s .If there was a lot more coppers like those two I think I could change my very poor opinion of our police force .
If somebody was to watch this video but didn't know the context or was given the narrative that you were planning to rob the money van they would probably believe that you are going to rob the van by your actions..ie you checked to see if his keys was in the ignition* because the other van you was watching you notice that he left his keys in the ignition! you also admitted to watching him and comparing him with the previous one you was watching!! And you went to check if the police counter/station was still there and if it was manned....
The right to film anything from a public place remains an important fact to make clear. Regardless of what is going on, photography is not a crime from a public place so if police are called then its a waste of time. If an attempted robbery is reported then great, respond quick, but until something is seen which indicates a robbery then no police should be called.

You really are getting the cream of the crop when it comes to police officers recently. Nice to see two professional and polite officers. To answer your question about police response, if the threat is “live”, i.e. the culprit is still on scene, officers are deployed immediately. However, if the incident is historic, I.e. a burglary has occurred but only just been found, officers are deployed “when one is available”.
Really good audit. The police behaved in a manner that the public expect them to, courteous and non-threatening. This proves that there still are good cops out there. It's just a pity that they don't answer calls from Joe Public with as much speed and enthusiasm as they answer corporate calls though.
Very polite. And to honest, I'm not surprised they called 999. Filming a cash transit van for so long I think is a legitimate concern. Great interaction. Also, I wouldn't be too surprised if leaving the keys in the ignition was protocol, in order for a quick getaway, given that sometimes entry to the vehicle is sometimes a different key. Anyway, great interaction.
I saw a Policewoman in Townsville, Australia with so much gear, including of course her Glock pistol and a computer tablet in a pocket on her leg, that I doubt that she could have run more than a few steps without stopping. She would have been a touch over 5' in height as they have removed height minimums here as well.
Come up to Scotland and sort our police out DJ. ( Nicola’s finest would welcome your input. ) The Transport Police in Glasgow give a particularly 'warm' Glaswegian welcome to Auditors :)
1. This video has been edited 3:40 mark. 2. There is no doubt this auditor did what was claimed. 3. Camera or no camera, looking into the windows of these vans, after spending 5 minutes observing them, will attract attention. 4. The police, were excellent here. 5. The myth that, corporations get quicker responses than Joe Public. If anyone can provide statistics to back this up?
Polite and pleasant police officers for a change. Not even a host of directives! A great professional response from DJ too. Excellent to raise the response time from a corporate calling for a camera to private individuals. There must be criteria for dispatch when taking calls. Now wouldn't it be interesting to get hold of a copy of the priority list!!
I've called police 3 times in 10 years at my venue, when I was doorman. They was super fast. So depends on time, nature of call. For a major fight in street they were there in 15 seconds.

When joe public calles they are no where to be seen. And when they do turn up after an hour they treat you like a criminal. But for big cooperations they r there faster than the speed of light. 🤦♂️🤬
They took his bike lights.
When they want to they can make your living hell.
Edit. I thought you meant the auditor Joe public, you actually meant members of the public!
Very nice to see two calm cops just approaching you with common decency instead of all the blue line BS.
Yeah your right if our houses get burgled they turn up 3 days later & what people really don't realise that most of the contents of security vans is not money it is redeemed vouchers from supermarkets etc etc.
Wow…what a massive over reaction at the request of a corporation. Classic paranoia. However, I bet you wouldn’t see two cops if your home were being burgled. Who exactly are they serving? Its certainly not us.
“Do you know why we’ve been called”?
No, do you, have you forgot”?
Of course I know why you've been called, it's because I've broken the law,( allegedly).
So now you've asked, I'm going to incriminate myself. 🙄.
The answer I'd love to give, but would just make them vindictive is: " You're here because you are bored." (That mostly applies to stopped whilst driving at odd hours------ , been there done that.)
I'd like to think that if my house ever got burgled, Plod would come screaming into he street and catch them red-handed, but I suspect I may see a PCSO days later who'd just want to give me a crime number for the insurer. Corporations take priority over people.
Clean and shining "Public Relations" unit seems to be super fast to respond. Impressive 😁
Your demeanour is so calm and reassuring that the police had no alternative other than to treat you respect. Well done in using kindness against them.
A man with a camera! extremely dangerous.
Just as dangerous as somebody walking.
It the one way to get the old bill moving remember that when you next get robbed
A good interaction by the 1st car, well mannered and ‘appropriate’ to the situation. No sign of overwhelming ego by either of the officers. A breath of fresh air.
I really think you have the most approachable attitude and polite, so the response is positive.
Awesome interaction! Exactly how it should be 😃👍
Excellent Officers...Well Done On The Friendly Interaction.
These Police Officers are UA-cam stars for the right reasons. Good Audit and stay safe out there buddy.
Decent interaction with 2 well trained and chilled Officers. And there was you bigging up G4S for not reporting you or having a go. lol😊
Yes 🤣🤣🤣
Nice to see respectful coppers and the G4S dude doing a professional job. 5/5. Glad you brought up commercial vs public response times.
Refreshing to see a great pair of offices professional at all times 👌🏻
The thing is ,they could have been where they are more needed instead of dealing with this Tit!
This is what I love about dj he’s not a arse when it comes to police and such . Only does it when people get funny with him . Best kind of auditing unlike some who just can’t wait to kick off at the police and call them sausages
You must be referring to Live Free and the string vest wearing knobbers he hangs with.
Hell yeah it does
100% your absolutely correct.
Thank you DJ for sharing this 😁❤️
Fake money ?
@@simpson858 fiat currency. Banks print from paper and ink and we are enslaved to get some
Really enjoy just how calm you are in your most recent vids lol, best auditor after Focus Pocus
I know that officer 5127. He’s been in the force for around 20 years now and he is genuinely a nice guy.
❤️❤️👍
My daughter delivers pizzas on an evening, about 6 months ago she got stopped by a smackhead junky standing in the middle of the road and started to smash her car up , she panicked but had the good sense to call the police (personally I’d have just run him over). She’s still waiting for the police to turn up now.
Which police force? Name and shame.
So a man watching a camera rang the police on a man with a camera , lol, hypocrisy. There's council workers for you.
i LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
Really pleased the way this audit went via the police
I'm a manager in a supermarket and one day the guy carrying the money they have a scanner with them well it fell in a cleaners bucket
And the boxes of money if forced will coer all the money and anyone near in a dye , I tried to get the van to back up as it's need's to by something like 20 foot then the van's tracker takes over ,
This is if someone ever tried to take one off the road the money would not be any good as you would open it miles away and the dye would spoil it
Going back, The van driver would not move , Never opened his window nothing , I shouted to his mate , He won't move so he came out the emeergeny door and was carrying it like a bomb seeing this the driver then thought it's real and reversed back
But they normally have a slider at the back door , Slide the box in and a person in the van in the back marks where its from
So driver runner man in van
Must be what Boris is talking about zero crime area lol
You smashed it bro DJ. 👊🏽
Two good officers , good communication. Good video.
From my experience they do not respons to public's call as quick. I have been attacked on my way to work some time ago it took them over a hour to get there taking to account police station was 5 minutes walking from there.
U make me smile DJ brilliant ty
Couple of decent coppers ,no sign of any EGO’s .If there was a lot more coppers like those two I think I could change my very poor opinion of our police force .
Excellent officers 👍🏽 thankyou for your service
I think you handled that really well, as did the police. No need for any hostility on either side 👍🏻
@@DJAUDITS I was waiting for you to tell me about the right to film in public.... I know all about it I'm a photographer and I have watched thousands & thousands of audits...
(I have literally nothing else to do with my time pretty sad yeah.. actually not)
just because you can... doesn't mean you should..... There are certain things don't need publicising one of them is money in transit my friend used to work for the money in transit industry he was involved in an armed robbery and had to go for therapy he wasn't the sort of guy who would go for therapy but when somebody puts a gun to your head for a couple of million pounds things start going wrong in your head especially when you're not getting out of it...
The fact that police are called for little things these days shouldn't surprise you that they're gonna get called for a man acting suspiciously near a money in transit vehicle.....
I'm sorry if it seems to be that I'm having a go at you I'm no.. you've got bigger balls than me doing what you do...
Do you think it would be better if British auditors concentrates on the government on the police instead of private companies?after all that is where it originated
You really are getting the cream of the crop when it comes to police officers recently. Nice to see two professional and polite officers. To answer your question about police response, if the threat is “live”, i.e. the culprit is still on scene, officers are deployed immediately. However, if the incident is historic, I.e. a burglary has occurred but only just been found, officers are deployed “when one is available”.
have to acknowledge good cops when you encounter them. these two seemed the good ones. nice work there
The camera a weapon of mass accountability.
Really good audit. The police behaved in a manner that the public expect them to, courteous and non-threatening. This proves that there still are good cops out there.
It's just a pity that they don't answer calls from Joe Public with as much speed and enthusiasm as they answer corporate calls though.
Love these videos. Highlighting inconsistency in law and legislation.
Looking through clear glass is now a crime wow
Police carry too much kit, look ridiculous and there's so much stuff it becomes more of a hindrance than help. They need to look into reducing it.
I saw a Policewoman in Townsville, Australia with so much gear, including of course her Glock pistol and a computer tablet in a pocket on her leg, that I doubt that she could have run more than a few steps without stopping. She would have been a touch over 5' in height as they have removed height minimums here as well.
@@johnvienta7622 haha...ridiculous.
Good observation audit DJ
You are right about Corporate and Public response times, it's night and day. If you ordered pizza whilst being burgled the pizza would turn up first.
Man with camera, virtually immediate response.
Home burglary……just pop down the station and make a report.
You’re going to have to be careful DJ you’ll be getting the plod a good reputation 😂😂🇬🇧🇬🇧
Come up to Scotland and sort our police out DJ.
( Nicola’s finest would welcome your input. )
The Transport Police in Glasgow give a particularly 'warm' Glaswegian welcome to Auditors :)
Big up Tyrant Searcher. What a trooper. Goes to show what Scottish police will do to shut people up
I like how the Police arrive and after 2 minutes they're answering the questions xD
2 units for a legal activity. If your gran gets burgled, sorry we don't have anyone available.
If anyone can provide statistics to back this up?
wtf is "glue destruction system"? this is very interesting, nice catch!
Looks like a nice little town. Interactions like this are a welcome relief in these authoritarian times
Or how many responses to businesses in less than 30mins to how many of Joe publics.
I think you know the answer to that one. Big business seems to have a magic button to press to summon the police.😤😡
You're very polite, good to see
I think the bald bloke with the Hi-viz that was hovering round the street might have had something to do with that. Very nice town centre.
Fair play all round on that one, everyone's a winner, oh apart from the council who hadn't removed the out of date notice 😀
I've called police 3 times in 10 years at my venue, when I was doorman. They was super fast. So depends on time, nature of call. For a major fight in street they were there in 15 seconds.
DJ, you have swiftly become up there among my favourite auditors. Youre completely different approach is totally unmissable, a must watch!
Thank you for your extremely hard work in delivering quality entertainment too us the viewers along with helping us understand the laws surrounding outdoor photography.
Take care mate,
Steve 👍👍
Many years ago, i know people that worked cash in transit bank security for a certain big company ,Every morning you hand in your keys cash Wllet everything , The only thing your allowed was a flask ,every one in the van unscrewed the bottom of flask ,and put 60 or 80 pound in coins in the bottom of flask with one sock ,Every day 5 days a week , and left a bit of brew in the flask ,this went on for years in 1980 .£400 a week each in coins ,in 1980.You could see people walking out the yard with one sock on .
🤣🤣🤣
The snowflakes are out in force.
They should be charged with wasting Police time.
Excellent work DJ👍
A friend of mine chased a man out of his house at 3 in the morning. The guy was a couple of steps away from 4yr old asleep. My mate called the police and they asked if anything had been taken. When he said no they told him they weren't coming out as there was nothing for them to do!
😱😱😱
The two cops were absolutely fine.
They were fine but should have went and told the covert camera operators that photography is not a crime since the covert camera operators are doing the same thing.
@@georgebarnes8163 To be fair ... of course photography isn't a crime but anyone videoing a G4S cash delivery van for a while is a bit suspicious don't you think? I think they did the right thing in the circumstances ... the police attended and quickly established that there was no problem.
@@thepianoman1010 Since when did the police work for private corporations? If a member of the public was being mugged they would not urn up, at best the person being mugged would get a support letter a month later.
@@georgebarnes8163 OK George ... you believe what you like ,,, I tend to kinda sympathise with your sentiment ... though what you say is definitely not always the case but my point was a different one to yours. I haven't the time to argue it.. Thanks.
@@thepianoman1010 suspicious of what? I filmed the Shard and the Walkie Talkie building London last week inside and out. Is that suspicious too?
More cash transit videos needed!!! Brilliant!!!
Regarding your comment 'no markings on the floor'. A floor is an internal surface, eg kitchen floor. An outdoor surface, i.e. a road or pavement is called the ground. Pet hate of mine, sorry!
Love your vids mate 👍 😊
Pleasant coppers being understandably inquisitive but respectful
Another example of how to ethically interact with the police. As they saying goes, you catch more bees with honey than with vinegar!
04:28 - the genius copper asks 'Nothing untoward apart from that?' - do many criminals fall for that?
Respect to the 2 officers very polite 👍 and respect to you mr Dj 👍
The G4S money drop guy looks as though he's headed to a riot.
Sound officers. Just shows how a little people skills can go a longvway
Your demeanor has a calming affect… In most cases. 🌺
Very interesting DJ Good work my friend.
