- Today we take a look at Allied Bakeries, Liverpool Rd, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Newcastle ST5 9HT.
When we arrived it wasn't clear whether this was the main entrance as I couldn't see any Kingsmill lorries so I ask at the Gatehouse.
This doesnt go to well so I return back to the public footpath to take a look around from the sky with the Drone.
We then get approached by staff asking for our details before the Police arrive shortly after.

It never ceases to amaze me that the cops can turn up very very quickly for a man with a camera when a company calls them yet a citizen gets burgled they just give them a crime number and may, just may turn up inside 3 days if your lucky. They should be charged with wasting police time just for calling them out for a man with a camera. Another good vid DJ, keep them up and keep us entertained.
I guess if you've been burgled, tell them the name of the nearest company and say there's someone outside recording with a camera. When the cops get there, tell them he left but, hey, I've been burgled. (If you don't want to lie, get someone to record outside with a camera and then leave before they get there)

@@thomascobb3877 how can you say they are under resourced when they have enough cops to attend to a man with a camera yet they don’t have anyone to spare to investigate a break in. There are plenty of examples on here of up to 12 cops turning up for a man with a camera, if they have enough resources for that then they have enough to spare a cop, that’s 1 cop to start to investigate a burglary. It seems that when a company calls the cops they turn up, yet when a civilian calls for a burglary then they have no one. You tell me that it’s not the polices fault when it clearly shows they would rather harass a civilian than do what they are paid to do and that’s investigate a real crime, oh, that costs time and money doesn’t it!!!
@@thomascobb3877 I don’t understand where you get the idea the police are under resourced, they spend millions on paramilitary clothing, weapons, high end motor vehicles, helicopters, police horses, police dogs, computer technologies that actually do a lot of their work for them, saving them time and detective work. Crime rates should be going down not up, investigating a person doing something within the law is why proper crimes are not being given the correct priority and criminals are free to do as they please.
That young cop is with the right man to learn from to how to deal with the public. Bravo to the older cop for his interaction. Non-biased, polite, and dealt with the call quickly and was then on his way. We need more like him

Police were heads up, the drone would have been noted from the last encounter. So the two cops would have been advised so "Activist Filmer" is out, so don't screw up he has already called us out on drone laws, if he don't look mental leave him alone.

He may possibly just be a bit shy and that's totally human. He may even dare I say have a form of autism/aspergers... AND NO that isn't at all a guarantee. The bottom line is he's clearly passed all the tests and training to get where be is and doing something useful with his life. Almost certainly he's just a bit shy here and he's just shadowing his mentor. There's nothing really problematic really. He may be an apprentice even.

I think, in comparison to US, these UK cops are quite nice and civilized. US has brutal cops, because we live in a world of guns, and they will kill you at any hint of danger. American cops live in a “shoot first and ride the thin blue line to freedom” when it comes to law enforcement. The FOP pats them on the back and says “we got you”.

he was 7 years in the Army as a Warfare Specialist you know, he has to be on high alert since bread factories are known to be prime targets for burglaries and stuff. Trust him, Warfare Specialist, 7 years no less! Now guards bread...
Thing is, that information DJ provided could prevent a situation from happening when that young officer is having to restrain someone in the future. Getting a hold of that chain in a circumstance like that could be problematic.
Steve the security guard has obviously become very paranoid stuck in his little box all day on his own😀. I only wish the police arrived that fast when my car was stolen from outside my house (they didn’t even turn up), so next time I need them I will say that a man is outside my house with a camera and expect them to arrive almost instantly😀.

The first, older cop was very smooth. he readily admitted he didn't know the law with regards drones and engaged with you politely. He is a star. Nothing illegal and moved on. If only cops in the entire UK could follow this example.

Anyone who says they know it all straight out of training in any job is a liar. There's a lot to take in when starting a new job and people don't always have the best trainers.
The young PC looked very vulnerable, had you shouted boo at him he would have burst into tears and ran and locked himself in the patrol car. The teenagers on the streets will eat him alive poor lad.

That young copper had that awkward demeanour of someone one his first day at Work Experience from High School. I am glad you went gently on him, it would have been cruel to be too direct at this fledgling part of his career. Steve the Security Guard was an embarrassment to himself. He is obviously bored out of his skull in there all day, that he jumped on the chance to see more into the exchange. Him getting angry was a joke though, just ridiculous. It is absolutely insane the way people think they have authority over a random member of the public.

Ex Army on the gate, Two non-offened by a male filming female staff who were in charge of the gate security reaks of a roving security team. When others arrived no one overly stepped across the line, and finally a well trained police response. I wonder what the government is really moving around on these trucks.

Send someone with knowledge of drones, instead they send there drones.
The same officer did not know about the jewellery policy either so who gets him dressed in a morning then.
Do you seriously think every police officer knows every single law and bit of legislation? There are thousands of laws and legislation that changes constantly. There's a reason why different departments exist, that have higher knowledge on certain matters. It's no different in most other professions. If you are unwell, you go to see a GP. They usually refer you to see a specialist if it's anything more than a cold, as they can't be expected to know absolutely everything. This is no different. The police spend the vast majority of their time having to deal with domestics and mental health calls. Drone law and legislation it's not exactly high on the priority list! If you think they should no everything you are very naive!

Auditing Britain and PJ Audits. Found both to be pointless, attention seeking wind up merchants. PTTP, when he exposes abuse of power is very good (I think he has a vid showing cops double parked just to buy dinner). If you can recommend any then go for it.
Like I have said elsewhere, I appreciate when it's useful to people. But when it's windup or clickbait or attention seeking, don't have time for it.
I'm not a policeman/ security guard. Have had no personal interaction with these.

My mate used to work in a bakery that makes Kingsmill in Swansea. The plastic pallets normally go through a hot steam wash on a conveyor belt. But seeing all that bread in the skip was alarming, his bakery used to give waste bread to local farmers for animal feed. Saved them money on skips too 👍

I used to work for Allied bakeries in Norwich many years ago they also used to give it away to the farmers and old peoples homes but then it was made allegal to do so under H&S

I saw a child attacked in a park with a bottle.. I asked the child to wait outside the park with me and called the Police.. They arrived.. The attackers were in the park.. The Police arrived... I informed them of the assault..I pointed out the assailants...... And the police just drove off....Okay, dealing with kids of 12/13 is tiresome.. But allowing the young thugs to get away with it means that in a few years we hear of yet another stabbing.. 🙄
