No more key rings for security now only the public. Can’t trust them. Shyster. Lol
@@hondatrikeboys If you find one on ebay send me the link, I would love to see what it goes for djaudits@gmail.com 🤣🤣🙌🙌🙌🙌
That security guard is manipulative....what a horrible human.
Haha soon as the drone was up he was on the phone to police .. it’s like little boy running home to tell on you to his mummy 😂
Security with the glasses was acting nice but wanted to cause trouble and he lied because the drone on the phone didn't ask for drone i.d. the shady security did.
You were nothing but kind and friendly to him and he still phoned the Police, he knew exactly what you do, he ended up looking very foolish indeed, what a nasty duplicitous man.
After you landed the drone and he came over he was not interested or prepaired to listen to you.
yup he should've waited until the end before handing the keychains, doubleface didn't deserve it 😁✌
Yeah - total jobsworth prick. Started nice and turned out to be an ultra bellend.
What a great description. 'duplicitous', a word I haven't heard since used by my English teacher many, many moons ago, but very accurate.
Should have taken the key rings back, far too sneaky. "everything's ok sir, no problem" but still called the police and lied to you to get your operators i.d. Also saying he could see your line of sight while being miles away and facing the opposite direction than you but "don't wanna argue about it" when you disagreed with him. One minute telling you a tiny drone with the weight of a few feathers is a concern about the fuel tanks, but previously he's on about planes and helicopters that "come in extremely low" Wouldn't they be a bigger concern, and why no flight restriction ?????? Absolut bullshit, he couldn't lie straight in bed.
I was uneasy with his demeanour from the start. He should do the hourable thing, and return the keyring.
I agree entirely, polite on the surface but just an officious little shit underneath inventing spurious pretexts to intimidate.
He seemed to be a sneaky man hiding behind a smile and glasses
Maybe it was just difficult for him, he knows the rough outline of the law and how DJ operates but also knows he has an office full of Karen's who will force him to overstep the mark or lose his job regardless of how much he attempts to educate them, it can be a difficult position to be in.
I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
The security guy went from hero to zero in a matter of minutes. Reporting people to the police and making up stories is not very professional.
The realisation that for a moment you think you're an investigator, but you are actually a telephone operative.
He started out so well, then the ego took hold.
(We know you are watching, you should be ashamed).
Security guy with the beard seems quite sneaky and manipulative. Mr 2 faced !
Just following orders, he has to be seen to take safety seriously and if they have a policy of calling the police when drones are flying over then he won't want to be seen by his boss on youtube not taking things seriously - he has a livelihood to think about. Not worth risking it. He obviously knew DJ and enjoys the channel but his job is number 1 priority.
Security guy watches the videos then phones the police! Then says the police want the ID when they don’t? Then tells everyone where the under ground fuel dumps are when fuel will be worth more than gold next year? Yer he is a keeper.
These people & their presumed right never fail to amuse
It always amuses me how unimportant some these people really are. Give some men or women a uniform and you have the makings of another Third Reich.
you should ask for those keyrings back hahaha, quickly went from a couple of guys who watch your videos to a busy body filming your drone and phoning the police on you claiming your out of LOS... tut tut tut
Yeah, he should've learnt something from watching DJ's videos. He's just made himself look like a fool.
Call handlers remotely asking for citizen's details, this is what it's come to in a 'free' society
@@CymruEmergencyResponder There is in a professional manner when you have no right to do so. Do you think it's a good use of resources to ask questions you're not entitled to have answered? Well the aviator sunglasses security guard may have been polite but he was looking to pin anything on you, rather than simply observing and reporting.
Every single one of his tinned goods in his cupboards all face label forward and perfectly in line.
The Air museum was great, packed with British aircraft from the day's when we showed the world how to do flying, including the English Electric Lightening still holder of the fastest assent Record holder today :o)
That security guard at the gatehouse was brilliant, lovely guy 👍
Good to see George Michael doing so well in his new security job.
Why did George Michaels get covered in chocolate?
He was careless with his Wispa.

The way I danced with you, oh
So so sad to see Bruntingthorpe full of cars when its should be full of aeroplanes and the facilities to fly them :-(
Before the end I was going to give security a 10 out of 10.
The first chap was flippin' brilliant.
'First Responder' made me uneasy ... directing his minions.
The final two were brilliant, until 'George Micheal' turned into a snitch;
with his 'fuel dump' bollox.
Did he think it was an MQ-1 Predator in the air ?
How could he assess line of sight from when where he was standing !?!
(Keyring should be rescinded).
This orange guy just thinks he has more power than he does. Unbelievable. He’d been told more strongly to bugger off by anyone other than DJ audits.
26:00 So the first responder suspiciously drives off the moment you had finished flying. I bet he was there watching DJ all the time he was flying and reporting back.
It was so obvious ... the fat controller was unable to leave his comfy seat.
Sad they tried to accuse you of not being in line of sight and rather pathetic they lied about police wanting flyer Id . Nice video DJ you were very polite as usual and anyone who watches you're videos knows you are extremely aware of hazards and a very professional drone pilot keep it up 💪🙏
That security guard has gotta have faith ;-)
That guy in the orange with the shades on just looks like a 1970s action man with eagle eyes 🤣🤣🤣
He tried his best to look 👀 good at his job, obvious reason - he knew he was being filmed 🤳 by DJ audit and then straight onto UA-cam ( for subscribers to make the judgement) .
A call handler just sums up the state of this country. You should see the courts, they are just as bad. Clerks deciding upon the law, when not qualified to do so.
You handeled security well dj . The last guy talking to you in my view was hiding his self entitled anger at you . He felt you had no right to video the base . And he was out to show you who was boss. But he showed himself to be a losser. Well done again for staying pleasant and respectfull.
Its also the little things like "telling dj to watch for the lorries" they have to try and assert authority, when basically the are still a civilian. Luckily not all of them are like that (first guy)
The security guy with the sunglasses is really shady, he is the sort of a guy I met at Egyptian market, trying to sell me shady stuff. Also, the phone call was really shady as well.
That security guy was a phony. I don't think he meant he knows DJ Audits because he's a fan, but because he has learned in training that people such as DJ Audits are out there and how to handle them. He certainly gets a D- for his interactions and professionalism. DJ gets an A!
If the concern is the on site fuels and/or plane movements, then why isn't it restricted airspace? Brilliant video, car based sites are of interest to me, could you maybe have a look at doing the test track and prototype vehicle storage at Gaydon, Warwickshire? (Jaguar Land Rover)
And Millbrook in Bedfordshire was Vauxhalls favourite place many years ago
Yep, to get some good shots, DJ could hover his drone in the CAA air space 3ft over the track......😁
Last thing Drone operators - or any private ac flyers want, is the establishment of more restricted airspace - and the CAA are aware of not restricting areas unnecessarily. It's enough to NOTAM certain activities - although even that's not always required. It would be royal pain for everyone if they automatically established ATZs around places like these and prevented anyone from doing anything within a couple of mile radius.
Near me they have an airfield that isn't on DJI but it is definitely used by military and private aircraft, DJI will let me fly over it no problem, not that I've tried because I know it's in use.
Security overall were spot on, until the end. He knew who you were but still called the Police 🤣
It was so snide ... and backfired Haha
(I hope he returns the keyring, out of shame).
Get that man some syrup cos he has plenty of waffle
George Michael suprised me, even telling you he knew who you where and he watches your videos plus getting a free key ring he still went ahead and called the police!
Ask him for his details to see if he gives it. He has no authority to ask you for anything. How on earth did we come to this level of stupidity and entitlement. You were not out of the line of sight as you explained. No point in asking you after the event.
Even if he was concerned nothing happened, stupid security logic. I guess that's why he's security, no offense intended 😊
Excellent work DJ you're teaching me so much for when I go out again. 👍🏿👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿
he can actually ask for anything , you just dont have to answer .Big difference to how you think things work
@@patthewoodboy Sure he can ask you anything, the beautiful thing is you don't have to answer. Like I said he has no authority over you, no crime being committed. He's not a cop, even with a cop you don't have to answer. I have my own channel.

I find it surprising, odd or something, that after several years of widespread global auditors, yet seemingly rational people don’t know the first thing about this phenomenon, failing that, just awareness of people’s rights.
Maybe it’s just me? .... 🤷🏼♂️
@@taffman1 Get real, dont you know people can identify as what ever they want, its irrelevant what you think
The vast majority of people I have encountered while flying my drone have no idea what a drone is let alone the rules about flying them.
I reckon there's about 140-150 UK auditors. Of those , many are inactive, either disillusioned, given up, ill, or in prison. A couple are "bound over" or have bail conditions preventing them auditing. Some cannot be called proper auditors, and some don't want to be called auditors.
That leaves approx 80-100 active (ie audited or posted in last 3 months) posting on here.
Its hardly a global phenomenon....
Considering auditing has been here solidly for 5 years (longer I know but few auditors) that would make an intake of 30 per year.
When you put that against an average of 45 people get struck by lightning each year in the UK, it puts it in perspective. Ninety five percent of the public would describe an auditor as a man with a briefcase that checks companies by scaring their accountants.
You made a mistook here DJ, they knew you were called DJ when they arrived so clearly the initial security guard is the one who knows you and what you do and he’s told the next two that came who you are and what you do…. Go get those key rings back!
Yep,the orange jacket turns up and asks “Are you the DJ Audits?” So he must have been told by the first security at the gate. Both orange jackets then play along like they know you.
@@cageyflume4240 I replayed that section a few times after hearing what DJ thought he said, and he clearly says *"Are you DJI Audits?"*
I could tell from that alone that he's clearly not a fan of the channel, and has merged *DJ Audits* together with the drone *DJI Mini* to make *DJI Audits,* while clearly pretending to be friendly with his nonsense about tanks and traffic as usual, just like all the other places which don't want to be filmed and want you off site.
His partner, and the initial security guard however, seemed to be genuine.
Refinery? Security guy is talking up some fuel tanks. If it was a refinery there would be loads of equipment and towers and pipes etc. etc. So he's a liar.
Playing safe? I'd say he was trying to start a fire more like. Should have handed his keyring back in shame. Keep up the Great work DJ 😎👍
I had to call the police because it was out of line of eyesight, BS
Can you see through the trees? It's the size of a small bird 120m up and at least 100m away.
Good for you then, when I fly my drone I lose sight at 40m. straight up. Sun and sky color blue to dark grey. DJI minis are not hi viz. I thought of using streamers or big balloons attached to the drone. Any thoughts?
Delighted to have become a member of your channel Dj,well done for great content you put out.Always love your interactions with people, keep doing what your doing.
That beardy security guy was harassing you on the roadside and seemed quite stressed / concerned / accusing you of flying out of line of sight; well done for remaining professional as ever 😁👏
the 'good job' he did was telling you the details they are trying to hide.
They all say they are ringing the police but in the end nothing ever happens 🤣
I find it amazing when the people featured in audits turn aggressive or behave outside the law, they must know that members of the public see their faces and sometimes get their names.
I have a good memory for faces and remembering where I have seen them as do many people.
last week I recognised a aggressive person who featured in one of the videos done by one of my local auditors in the north east.
I just had to let the guy know exactly what I thought of him, and he didn’t like it! 🤔😂 intelligent people know that if your being filmed you don’t act like an idiot as you will be judged by the viewers.
Bruntigthorpe is a well known car storage site which is now so big that the live jets are no longer able to fast taxy.. Its also a navigation point for visual flights so well covered regards aerial footage. The shabby jet is a Mystere ex French. Inside a QRA shed on another part of this base are several Lightnings which can run engines but not fly.Thats the green shed with other historic jets outside. Canberra,Hunter, sea vixen starfighter ,Delfin ,Iskra,Jet provost, Venom.
First security guy was pretty decent, done his job and was polite at the same time 👍👍👍👍👍
Whilst I appreciate his concern about the fuel storage cylinders, if a little drone falling out of the sky could damage one enough to make it explode then bugger me how poorly designed is that 🤣
That first lad is a natural security personnel. Very friendly and able to communicate and keeping everything in check without being rude, don't mind him getting his supervisor on hand as I'm sure that's just following his SPA. I think the supervisor was just dotting and crossing, I suspect his own higher up was on to him.
I used to work in that area in waste management and dropped in there one day to ask what they did as I frequently saw drivers holding the reg plates standing outside, waiting for a lift. This was a few years ago and they were very friendly and drove me around the runways and then took me to one of the hangers where a Vulcan bomber was being restored, which was a wonderful moment. After that I would give the drivers a lift to a railway station, as they were dropping vehicles off to be stored until required.
TBH these guys are doing their best just not to get sacked by their company. They probably really enjoy your channel, so hats off to them for being so nice. I'd give them a 9 out of 10 :)
Whoahh! never mind a few boring Land Rovers.. there was a English Electric Lightning Fighter jet parked on that site, now THAT is something interesting you won't see again!!!
Same here...4pm Squirell hunting lol. Great to see Fellow subscribers on security but did feel they were a little harsh contacting the Police about your drone etc....they must have known you do everything within the law etc. Very educational video though i didnt realise that the car industry had these type of places and the scale of it was amazing. Has a Special Bonus we got to see some amazing vintage lanes. Well done DJ.
Unless he can see through your eyes, he can't say if it was, or wasn't, in your line of sight.

Thanks to security we now know its a fuel dump.
Nice one DJ my neck of the woods !
Thanks again for another awesome video audit 👍. First security man very helpful informative and respectful. Till your next post stay safe and enjoy the rest of your day 💕
If pilots fly in that area at low level without issuing a NOTAM, then they are responsible for separation. They will be operating under VFR.
Pilots flying over should be at no less than 500ft or 1000ft if its a built up area.
@@sahhull Unless landing, that is correct. That’s why those drones are only allowed a maximum altitude of 400ft. So there is always separation. The exact rules is you must be able to land clear in the event of a power failure as well, your numbers are correct for minimum altitude.
Hello DJ Audits, thanks for the fascinating video, couldn't believe the area covered by motor vehicles. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.

The security guard was clearly a Wham fan, those shades were hilarious.
26:18 Slight overreaction, but still a silly overreaction. Tried to gaslight about a refinery being on site (there isn't) called the police about nothing and basically acted stupid about a camera and a drone as if they would expose everything which is already visible on their own website and via Google. The security guy did not deserve the keyring.
The security guy on the gate was the most well behaved one of the lot. The others seemed to be more interested in following procedure than engaging their brains.
@@TheSadButMadLad A lot of security engage and enquire to cover themselves in the event of everything going pear shaped. It might be a million to one chance but a faulty Lipo battery dropping on a very large fuel store is potentially serious.
@@auditnerd8767 such above ground tanks should be double-skin & insulated for fire proofing. The steel outer will easily withstand the impact of a C0 drone. More like a billion to one chance of anything serious happening, hence the lack of concern by the CAA.

'This main area occupied by Cox,' is Comedy Gold when your sense of humour is like mine.
The jet fighter that you saw at the entrance is the Lightning. It was retired from the RAF years ago, but I lived and worked in the Western Cape for years, and it was still used (then) by the S/African Air Force. After a short take-off, it goes it can go into a vertical climb at a speed that squashes pancakes. Don't bump into one on a bad day.
That’s busy 👌🏻😂 military helicopters, Police Helicopters, air ambulance, old military planes - all fly into the sight at various points……….I bet they do. The security lad was a right nobhead. Bruntingthorp is a ex RAF/US Army Air Corp in WW2.
Now used by Cox Autos with it subsidiaries ....Manheim Auctions use an extensive area as a hub for most ex lease cars...then prepped the sent to their various auction sites in UK.
A few years a go it had various functions....a racetrack offered folks to speed round the circuit (old peri track to runway) in cars/ on bikes.
Lots of retired aircraft flew into site ..storage/museum pjeces.
From thd aerial shot, these aircraft has mostly gone, although, as shown, there is a small collecting. near the English Electric Lightening building housing 2 x EE from 111 Squadron's QRA at Wattisham.
The V-bomber Avro Vulcan was made airworthy in the large hangar as seen in shots...Vulcan now stationed at Robin Hood Airport (ex V-bomber RAF Finningley...Doncaster.
And the hamlet Upper Bruntingthorpe was the barracks. The foundations of the hospital and mess halls etc. are still there between it and the airfield
Looks like an old english electric lightening jet aircraft at the museum section, an amazing jet. way ahead of its time and had unbelievable acceleration and no other jet on the planet could catch it.
That security in the glasses knew what he was doing, he was so nice with you flying the drone because he knew for a fact how big the site was that there might be a possibility you’d be out of line of sight with the drone and he could try and get you done for that
I think the security visit @23.40 constitutes an open invitation to all drone pilots to come and visit anytime day or night seven days a week. Making the claim that DJ was not flying line of sight lost them a lot of respect, if you are going to accuse someone of an aviation offence you had better have some evidence.. Total loss of respect.

They done so well until ringing the police, he obviously watches but doesn't take much notice of what he is watching otherwise he would learn a lot more from you DJ. The best part about this was them planes wow, I get they want to keep security tight but them planes would be good for people who want to visit there and learn more about the history of the sight. Yes one may be open nearby but one on sight would be good.
i get the feeling that wasn't the police but a higher placed security officer.
He’s concerned because of the bits and bobs at his place and can you speak to me mum she wants a word 😂😂😂
I get the impression from a lot of DJ’s videos that DJ turning up is the highlight of their otherwise boring day.
I used to work up there building racing cars when the John and David and dad Clive owned it, the hanger in front of gate was where they had the Vulcan bomber xh558

Those sunglasses were a dead giveaway of a devious type the minute he turned up. 😂

So the lesson here is, if you want to case the joint then get a mate out there with a camera - security will swarm round him while you sneak in at the other end of the site! Ridiculous overreaction. Unimpressed with them to be honest with all their nonsense and gaslighting.
