The hunger inside given to me, makes me what I am
Always it is calling me, for the blood of man
They say I cannot be this, I am jaded, hiding from the day
I can't bare, I cannot tame the hunger in me
Oh, I say I did it always searching, you can't fuck with fate
So instead you'll taste my pain
The hunger inside given to me, makes me feel alive
Always out stalking prey, in the dark I hide
Feeling, falling, hating, feel like I am fading, hating life
They say I cannot be this, I am jaded, hiding from the day
I can't bare, I cannot tame the hunger in me
Oh, I say I did it, always searching, you can't fuck with fate
So instead you'll taste my pain
You say your life I'm taking, always bothering me
I can't take this anymore, I'm failing, always smothering me
You look down on me, hey what you see, take this gift from me
You will soon feed from me
Nothing seems exciting, always the same hiding
It's haunting me
It's haunting me
It's haunting me
It's haunting me
It's haunting me
Queen of the Damned soundtrack is one the best of all time. It's right up there with The Crow
Evil Dead Mike and Spawn
yeah i know helped on that too like 20 years ago....I know I'm like the GOAT= GREATEST OF ALL TIME and to think I'm from West by GOD Virginia BIATCHES hahahaha!!!!
Not as good as the crow one in my opinion
Dracula 2000
End of Days
Jonathon Davis wrote ALL of the songs on the Album and the orchestral score for the movie. Marilyn Manson said if it were anyone else other than JD that had written the song he wouldn't have sung it.
He didn't write all the songs
But still marilyn manson pissed on korns food on tour 😂
P's sorry to be so late to reply
I was lucky enough to see Jonathan Davis and his backup band play all these songs at the House of Blues in Las Vegas.
As much as we'd love this to be true, sadly it isn't, JD wrote some of them but most were songs by the original bands, JD had the pleasure of covering every song with his style for the movie, to which he had some of them then cover his songs in kind.
it doesn't matter either way, what we take from this is that there are two versions of every song in this soundtrack...and they're all fucking amazing!
Well i heard something different
God, this soundtrack is so fucking great. Marilyn Manson, Korn, and Static X all in one movie is just amazing
+Falling away from me Korn www.vevo.com/watch/sonic-karma/Machines/QMGR31528964
Papa Roach and Disturbed, as well.
Bowie Cat Deftones too
Chester Bennington...
You know Davis from Korn did all the music in the actual movie right? These artists only filled in on the "Soundtrack" for the movie due to contractual problems with Davis.
One of the best soundtracks 🙌🙌 RIP Aaliyah, Chester, and Wayne 🙏🏼
Spooky to hear their vocals now.... RIP to them.
I've been listening to Marilyn Manson for years and I didn't know this existed until recently. Unappreciated song.
same
This was a favor for Jonathan Davis. Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Jay Gordon of Orgy, and David Draiman of Disturbed *might have butchered names* all redid songs from the movie, as well.
Definitely a very overlooked song. One of Manson's best.
check out his this is halloween from the nightmare before christmas movie its called Nightmare Revisited if you haven't heard it before
You know Davis from Korn did all the music in the actual movie right? These artists only filled in on the "Soundtrack" for the movie due to contractual problems with Davis.
The best thing about Queen of the Damned was its killer soundtrack. Love it! I wish they had done a better job of translating the story into a movie. They accurately portrayed vain, rockstar Lestat, but only that side of him --they failed at conveying the hidden depth and enormous intellect behind that persona, which was evident in the books.
I agree
Finally! Someone else who realized this! There was so much wrong with this movie.. The soundtrack is the only worry aspect born from this abomination.
+Alexa Shelby yeah i know what you mean but the studio was lazy they had 7 years to make The Vampire Lestat and Queen of the damned then they had 2 years left til they lost the rights to make them so they mashed The Vampire Lestat into Queen of the damned,if they wasn't so lazy they would have made 2 films and possibly would have had a more in-depth insight into Lestat and then Akaasha would have had more screen time
+Planet Nate but the akaasha died in 2001 in a plane crash :/
I agree with you. in the novel in which I have read. Lesat has blonde hair and is from France and in the movie the actor kept changing accent s which was confusing and they did not include the witches who have red hair. The flim was dreadful but Aaliyah played Akasha fantastically
Great job on the lyrics! Don't know why Spotify doesn't have this song available.
Probably cos MM got cancelled so dumb
@@serenadelrey4722no they never had it, even before this. Trust me, I’ve spent years looking haha
No wtf?@@serenadelrey4722
Smoking crack ya dog
Yeah I was just looking for it today... i was listening to the soundtrack and was like... somethings missing. Of course its the MM song
This album-specifically Marilyn Mason's Redeemer, was a massive turning point in my music taste, a milestone, the one that made me a metal head. My step sister left this cd behind when she finally got kicked out of my home, one of the only things she left behind, and I found it. It became the only thing I am grateful for from her to this day.
Good music taste bro
RIP to your step-sis. She was a real one.
It’s the end of 2022 and I’m still listening to this album. Best album for a movie period.
Just found out it's on Hulu rn. Love this movie and the album is simply amazing!
It's 2023, why is this song not on Spotify?! Like wtf.
A lot of Marilyn Manson songs were taken off of all streaming services. Amazon, Pandora, Spotify, etc.
@@Hicksfam06And the question is, why? What is their reasons to do that?
@@IslandMashupthe dude is a creep I heard, I think that might be why.
Im a huge Korn, Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park Fan and this movie is my all time favorite! Im also a huge fan of Anne Rices books and this movie is just consolidation off all!!!
My bands too man
The best and sexiest soundtrack ever...
This movie will forever be legendary especially the soundtrack 🖤🖤👑👑..
Wish Aaliyah was still here and alive to do movies like this. Ughh 🥺😇
i swear it is the best its so raw
For the last 10 years I always find myself rediscovering this song like it’s the first time
I agree that Queen of the Damned is one of the best soundtracks of all time. I don't go even a day without listening to at least one song from this album. The collaborative collective of this album is amazing. The talent brought in on this project were perfect artists to contribute to an outstanding line up. The movie is also my all time favorite. Listening to this album walks me throw moments in the movie. The songs help tell the story to a truly creative look at vampirism.
Yes I can agree also !!! Best sound track ever!
It’s a masterpiece yes! my grandparents watched it all the time and i fell in love when I was like 5 years old
This soundtrack, honestly, took a part of my soul to a darker side. Still haven't recovered it, not sure if I even want to🤷🏽♀️
Me too
My fav song from this brilliant album by Jon Davis. Marilyn Manson's vocal delivery on this is perfection.
This is actually the perfect vampire song!
2019 folks, where are you?
Found this movie on netflix and watched it for nostalgia
Smoking weed and memory took me there , Livin under war Libya Love
Bello Gubbai lol same
still here, I own both the movie and the soundtrack
2020😀 good movie but didn’t follow the book at all, of course...the music rocked though
For the confused people. This IS Marilyn Manson, this is from the movie soundtrack.
In the movie it's the vocalist of Korn singing on the songs, but due to copyright, for some reason he couldn't sing on the soundtrack for it that was going to be released, so they got guest vocalists to cover the songs - This is the Marilyn Manson cover. :)
Wrong... Manson did perform this song on the movie while it was playing on the tv
@@trevorrude4956 No. In the movie, all songs were performed by Jonathan Davis and when you know both of them, you can hear it.
I'm surprised you had to say this.....
@@trevorrude4956 because of issues with his contract with his record label he had at the time he couldn't put the songs on the soundtrack with his vocals. His record label let him put his songs in the movie with his vocals in them. He was with Sony record label at the time but the movie was done through Warner Brothers. Sony waited to the last minute to tell Jonathan he would not be able to record the soundtrack so he went to some of his friends to record the songs for him. He then at a later date actually recorded the songs on an album that he released under his name.
Linkin park, Korn, and MM all cover various tracks on this album.
Have had this soundtrack for many years, it's never even come close to getting old! I love vampire music, very relatable
This whole album is gold 💚🖤💚 Rip Wayne Wells and Chester Bennington 🌹
This soundtrack, bride of chucky, and resident evil I can't get enough of 🖤
Spawn?
Manson sang this to perfection!
I remember listening to this song during a churchretreat. I certainly felt redeemed listening to this, back then at 13, surrounded by religious fanatics.
That sounds like my whole life story 😭😂😂
Disrespectful
😂😂😂 Religious Mindless Fanatics
funny shit
Sounds like you needed to be on that retreat
Queen of the damned had 2 great artists who will live forever through their music
R.I.P. ...Wayne Static & Chester Bennington.
Yes. Grew up on both bands and their amazing vocalists during my 2000s teens. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
R.I.P to Miss Aaliyah as well who was gone too soon, too young. :'(
Brilliant track from a great soundtrack of a highly enjoyable movie. Possibly the best Marilyn Manson song. That outro is magnificent!
the intro as well :)
Song was written and originally performed by Davis from Korn.
MrFraknak we get it buddy
WRONG. HE DID IT FOR NO TALENT IN THE SINGING DEPARTMENT TOWNSEND
Queen of the Damned soundtrack touches your soul
Manson understood the assignment
I saw Manson and Rob Zombie last summer and they were both fantastic. I've watched Queen of the Damned like 50 times and always loved this song but I had no idea it was by Manson. Listening to it now, hearing Manson's emotions behind it...it's inexplicable.
It was Jonathan Davis in the movie version, the soundtrack version is Manson though. Manson said he did it as a favor to Davis and if it had been anyone else who wrote the lyrics he wouldn't have sung it.
Actually I was mistaken. He wrote:
System
Slept So Long
Redeemer
Forsaken
Not Meant For Me
Awesome!
Omg dope
Yeah he wrote all the songs that were "sung" by Lestat. I think he did am incredible job at portraying what a centuries old vampire would sing about. Now if the movie had only lived up to the book...
Honestly this is one of if not my favorite song that Manson ever did
This is THE best heavy metal 🤘 soundtrack ever made. Period. The soundtrack is on Spotify but the Marilyn Manson track is missing for some reason. I’m a huge Manson fan. He should have had this on one of his albums.
Spotify simps for Amber heard
i remember watching this back then as a kid with my big brother, man the good ass times growing up, he would blast the whole album in his room with his stereo system and we would be chilling the whole time lol. good ass times. we are now adults now basically hes 22 and im 21 damn, time flies.
Isaiah Luna Awesome. I wanna buy a CD copy of the official soundtrack, so I can chill in my room, and full-on rock out to the entire thing! My fav songs from the soundtrack are:
Redeemer
Forsaken
Not Meant For Me
Oh f**k it. I love 'em all 🤘
Reading this reminds me with my older brother. I got so into the movie and music because of him. Happy to see im not the only one.
Queen of the damned was great but the soundtracks are headbanging music that can never get board and always fun which brings happiness. Long live heavy metal.
this song as grown on me over time, loving it more than ever before.
My sister and I love this movie. One of our faves. Soundtrack is ELITE.
One of the best nu metal albums and soundtracks.
This isn't precisely nu metal.
I had to come here to listen to it because it's not available on the Spotify track list!
One of the best rock albums of all time!
I love Marilyn Manson he's so freaking great!!!!!
Agreed, remember driving to work past eleven at night when it premiered! Awesome work, manson provided commentary
Greatest soundtracks off all time: queen of the damned, crow 2 city of angels, and atomic blonde.
this song is so deeply disturbing its beautiful
This is a freaking good movie and I love it so much!!
GO QUEEN OF THE DAMNED R.I.P AALIYAH
love the whole sound track. sexy as hell!
Ashley Black and so are you
Of all movies I've ever watched, I've never loved all the soundtracks but for this movie, the soundtrack makes it awesome!!!
a plothole in the story is that the girl looks up the lyrics to this song where lestat gives away a vampire club location, yet the lyrics obviously arent there.
exactly 😂😂
exactly 😂😂
it doesn't follow the book...AALIYAH died in a plane crash before filming was completed
rmhanzel
Right
Actually it makes perfect sense. The "intro" sung in the film by Jonathan Davis of Korn as Lestat was a plot device. It had nothing to do with the song and was simply to advance the films plot.
Later, when getting Marilyn Manson to sing the song for the album, it was sung as it was written lyrically. The scripted plot device was removed to make the song more commercially appealing. It is not a plot hole, it is a soundtrack.
I listen to this Marylin Manson song Redeemer before Workout. Its so Dark, Twisted and Demonic.
I been listening to Marilyn Manson since 1999 and it still makes me feel like its 1999...
Had this soundtrack while in prison..i played it over n over and never got tired if it
I loved the queen of the damned was a great movie
Cool my dogs name is Akasha!!! Love manson since 1994
cool
They know all about it.
Akasha means "sky" , so it' s a beautiful name

GOD, i`m listening again and still kicking asses! MISS THOSE GUYS!
2021 and still love every single Song of the QOTD-Album!
Manson sounds so like Jonathan Davis. God I love it!
well jonathon davis did write this so...
They sang it together, as far as i know.. ;)
some songs had multiple singers jonathon, david, maralyn, and wait for it... chester bennington on some of it too.
I have this CD. Love this song.
You say your life I'm taking
Always bothering me
I can't take this anymore
I'm failing, always smothering me
You look down on me
Hey
What you see, take this gift from me
You will soon feed from me!
Manson version is excellent,i love his strident voice😈💯👍
For those wondering why the song isn't on spotify or apple music, there is a legal issue with this song. It was written by someone else but that person could not sing it by the time the album was being recorded. Marilyn Manson stepped in but he wanted the money from it while the original writter wanted the credit and ownership. Because of this the song has been removed so no more money can be made from it on either party.
That fucking sucks
"Hating, feeling, falling" is from Korn's "No Way."
The Golden Era of Nu Metal at its finest.
Loved this music then love it now. Period.
This song is fucking incredible, this soundtrack is number one in my book. Shit goes hard
Whose listening in 2021?!
Still such a good soundtrack. Been a lifelong lover of this movie and Johnathan created a masterpiece when he took this project on.❤😈❤️
Best soundtrack of Nu Metal, Industrial Metal, Gothic Metal, Alternative Metal, etc. My favorite movie soundtrack of all.
i was outside feeding the birds 🦅 when i suddenly remembered how much i love this song 🎼
Love Manson, huuuge fan... But Slept so long by Jay Gordon is my fav song on this soundtrack!!!!!

I Know I Love Me Some Queen Of The Damned Soundtrack :P

The start of this song reminds me so much of the 80’s intro for American Horror Story
I see gaga's character from ahs Hotel slow walking to this.
GAGA is a TOOL.....
Omg i wish the had shown her in the late 90s early 2000s vampire-goth look.
sweet love this movie and manson
This intro so amazing!
I KNEW I recognised his style. I watched the film and was waiting for Manson to show up in one way or another.
Mad that I can't put this on my Spotify play list
I love this song
Also... his name is Jonathan Davis and he wrote the lyrics for the whole movie. He also did the vocals when Lestat was singing. :3 Things to know.
The instrumental on this track is fucking incredible!
Great song
2021 WE HERE.
You can not fuck with fait !!!!!! Still listening to this track in 2020
This song is ACE, aint heard this in ages, added to my playlist :-)
Love this Album
Best soundtrack ever…having Lestat butcher every single one of them during the movie was a cinematic crime
Now this is what I call top of the line. Excellent soundtrack. I wonder how it sounds on the real thing. Can't wait! :D
Best Movie best music
BEST SONG EVER
Okay Crow thank you for your opinion. But with all due respect, this is the greatest soundtrack of all time. It's haunting me.
To this day...I STILL say...."Man That You Fear" should have been added to the soundtrack.
Best song ever
:-*
People shitting on the film hurt my feelings. Nothing better than a 2000s vamp movie.
