You can't go wrong with these GTR Ultra 2's. I completely outfitted both my Tahoe's with GTR LED's all the way around, with the Ultra 2's for High and Low beams and whenever I'm next to a luxury car or a truck with factory LED's or HID's, my light are as bright, or more often brighter! And the low beams have the same or sharper beam cutoff that the halogens had. Awesome lights, well worth the price!!
I'm happy for you brother it's to bad that I couldn't get then for my toyota highlander. When I called to purchase them they told me that it would not fit, I even called back a second time to make sure and maybe the first guy was wrong. It had to do something about inside of the fixture been deeper. So i had to stay with the same S-V4, which in less than 2 year my fog lights driver side started to dim than after the two years right after the warranty started to hum, it was like having pigeons inside my hood. I don't understand I use my fog light less than my regular lights and they're waterproof so what could of gone wrong. The only reason I wanted the GTR was because where I live I have deers in the middle of the roads and need that extra lighting.
@@ismaelcarrerojr7124 Hmmm, that's too bad. Well, keep them in mind for any other lights you might need. One of the H11 low beams failed recently. I got a new bulb in my hands four days after my email stating the problem with pictures to prove it. Impressive service.
I just installed my GTR ultra 2 in my 2009 honda civic..holy smokes they are bright. Easy install and built with high quality. Unbelivable light output. Will ne putting these in my 2014 silverado asap.
Yep, got these for my wifes 2007 civic si. Intensity and output is comparable to Tesla model 3s, same brightness and width. I just wished they were a warmer white output and not with a slight tinge of blue.

Happy i bought the ultra 2,.i installed it on my odyssey and sure these are sooooo bright, i used to buy other branda supposedly so bright, but not even close to the ultras, yeah the other brand i payed $55 but only lasts 12 months and i used to buy another set after, but when i knew about GTR lightning, i was very hesitant to buy the ultras, but happy i did, they are bright many drivers think i have my high beams on, so now i have the ultras on my vehicles, so if you really care about having bright lights, the ultras are the way to go, yeah you'll pay some $218 but worth it, thats if you care about your lightning in your vehicle, so this guy did a good job comparing the lights and steps to set up 👍👍👍
Amazing video. Cheeping out on headlights is a really bad idea if you drive at night. 350$ is a really good investment to negate a 5000$ deer accident.
Still waiting for mine to come by mail. Im super excited but for now all i can do is watch youtube videos of them. I cant imagine these GTR's with your fogs. Should be illegal lol.
So glad i came across this video , I’m looking at purchasing a new Ram and i definitely want these bulbs for my highs lows and fogs. Have you got the low beams in yet ?

Hey thanks for the video, purchased some low beam bulbs. Stock lights I drove one day and realized they are awful. This is a heck of a lot cheaper than upgrading to the LED package that is bundled on top of everything else. I wonder how these would compare to OEM LED
Dan Chisholm stock is way less bright..... most after markets led headlights technically are illegal and for off road use only since they exceed the legal limit of brightness
I can get you a video of that since I have a car with projectors. But spoiler alert with gtr lows beams you get the exact same beam pattern as if your running halogen lights. My car is a 2017 Camry and the halogen bulbs didn't throw out enough light for me at night so I got get lows and highs. Also if you have dlr you might want to either turn it off so it's not flickering really bright light in other drivers eyes.
Most people use daytime lights to avoid people from running into them, I do too; and if they are brighter at night over stock what could go wrong? Well, if by day time you mean sidelights and any other lights over your headlights, blinkers, brakes etc. then you would want to replace those at your discretion, that can be expensive depending how deep your pockets are; my first two are my licence plate (done) and my cab light (Waiting) For maps at night and I don't want to be pulled over for a light on my plate, nor a brake light, or a turn signal, or any other light because it burned out, LED is brighter, lasts longer and Yes, expensive! But, on my ride, I want to see and be seen even by someone who's had too many! Back up lights are also a problem because I can't see crap with stock backing up at night! Shocks and brakes are important too if you are planning an upgrade to your engine, or not; Any mods to your suspension & handling and your brakes goes a long way towards more HP and torque, or stopping distance. Everyone knows -grease monkeys, gearheads- anything stock can be improved; sometimes substantially over stock OEM parts, compared to after market parts so much can be improved with after market parts then their factory parts!
Just purchase these myself for a 2013 Malibu low beam. Had JDM Astar led lights and only lasted about a year that I got for about sixty bucks. Hopefully these are the last time I have to purchase headlights for the price.
I am trying to purchase these from their website. They sell “fog light” bulbs and “daytime running light” bulbs, etc. Is the “daytime running light bulb” considered the “bright lights”? Because that’s what I’m trying to replace in my car. Also, do you know if the standard headlights use the same bulb? Is it the housing that makes them change? (Projector housing for standard headlight, and halogen housing for the bright lights?)
All the reasons to know what you want and plan to replace! Look in your owners manual; don't you have one? Buy one at any auto parts store for $12 - $15! tells you everything you want to know about the ride you got and the specifications of what you got! That way, you know before placing an order that if you're even in the ballpark, go ahead and try to guess what fits & what doesn't. Relieve a headache before it starts, Know what you want & how to get it, and a book doesn't tell you how to get it but does tell you the specs (ifications) of what you plan to replace it with! Happy trails!
You may have Said in your other videos and I probably missed it but did you have to use any adapters or tazer when you installed thoes LEDs in the Halogen housings on that 2020 RAM???
Your truck have automatic high beam feature? If so, led doesn’t disable or interfere with that function? Love to purchase these for my 2020 Ram Eco. 1500.
If you need a sensor in tour car to tell you when you need high beams you shouldn’t be driving if your eyes can’t tell when you need high beams. Useless technology like this is why cars/truck prices are skyrocketing. Same as automatic windshield wipers.
I can say I have owned 2 sets of gtr led bulbs and can tell you that they do last I'm going to do a video of driving at night with gtr lows and high beams on and off so you can get a good idea of how they look when driving. I personally would not recommend trying to get any brighter of an led in the housing. I do notice that it does heat up the housing like a halogen bulb but a bit slower
I can’t get my dust cap to go on, it’s stick out a little to far, I’m trying to replace the Highs is there anyway to fix this problem I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500
I like them but my H4 style Gtrs are mostly plastic. From factory they clocked a little off and the adjustment has only four settings. None of which puts them in the correct position. I will have to do some modification to the inner collar to make it right. $239 they should be perfect out of the box.
Did you have any issues with flickering? I was looking at these exact lights for my 21 ram and was recommended to buy a PWM Interface module to keep them headlights from flickering. Thanks
I have a Tazer programmer to adjust settings on my truck. I simply turned LED lights "ON" in the settings. But, a lot of guys say that they work fine even without updating the settings.
Work just fine out of the box. Just clocked them so that the driver wire is in the middle which means inside they are pointing 3 o'clock and 9 o clock and they are great 👍
They are still exactly the same led cheap as the other guys use, maybe built way better. But if heat dissipation is not good they will still die in a short time
I guess as long as they’re white but it depends on your state if in the US. I installed mine and adjusted them down about a half inch and never got flashed or pulled over by police officers.
Technically, all LED/HID conversion kits where you’re putting the replacement bulb into a halogen housing are “illegal”. Now, if you have them properly fitted/adjusted and the color of your bulb meets the statutory requirements for your state, it’s highly unlikely that a LEO will even think twice. At the end of the day, it’s just an equipment violation
Hikari eye of megatron is not worth it. If you’re looking for a fog light get the Hikari. They are bright but they don’t go down road in a good pattern at all. The fog lights go down road about the same distance just not as bright. The halogen Sylvania silver star ultras are brighter than Hikari. These gtr ultra 2s are amazing down road.
