  • In this video, we're going to teach you how to shoot like a pro and eliminate parallax for great long range image at any distance.
This is a guide that every shooting sports enthusiast should know, and it's especially important for long range shooters who use a scope with a parallax adjustment. By following our steps, you'll be able to create a clear image without any parallax problems!
Nic Kytlica walks us through how to zero your parallax on the Leupold Mark 5 HD. Most scopes either aren't adjustable or don't have marked yardages on the parallax. The Mark 5 HD has both which enables you to set your parallax without having to look through the scope every time.

The parallax/focus knob has a relationship with the Ocular lens focus at the back of the scope. One affects the other. A young person with sharp 20/20 vision can benefit from the numbers on the parallax knob lining up with the actual ranges. As you get older or if your vision is worse you'll need to refocus the Ocular lens. Then the numbers will no longer line up. The numbers on the dial are ONLY a loose reference. Dial it and check it each time. As you age and your eyes change you'll begin to notice that relationship more. That will have an effect on the parallax knob.

It would be nice to have a way to contact you. I signed up for a membership but I am not able to view any of the DIY annealer videos. I can view other videos that require a membership but not the ones that I signed up so I can see. WTF

You're on a "Supporter" level membership. The DIY annealer is only for "Fan" level memberships. To change your membership, you may have to do it through a computer as some people have had difficulty with doing it on their phone.

Thank you for your quick response. I was able to upgrade to" Fan Level" to view the DIY Annealer videos. What do I need to do to see the "Resources" on the website? It is asking me to logon but I have never set up a username or password to logon,

@@mikeyoung5083 you can create an account when it prompts you. I don't remember the exact button, but there should be an option to do so. If you don't see one right away, then try doing a log in and see if that gives you the option. If you still have problems, email me reese@reeseontherange.com

I created a free account on the website but I still cannot access the resources. Can you fix it so I can access the resources? I am not sure why the parts list is not just a link from the video?

@@mikeyoung5083I usually get a notification when an account is created, and I don't see that.
