Just discovering this now. I've always loved Smalltown Boy for years but never thought to just to listen to their other work. There are so many bands where there biggest hit isnt nesscessarily their best and I enjoy Somerville's kind of falsetto singing style. Its a change from Dave Gahans and Jim Morrisons bartione style. This sounds pretty good. Might listen to an album.

Ya know I listen to all of these Euro-80s-gay-synth-sensations and I read 1000's of comments of the incredible 80s music and life in general was wonderful, but when I read comments of my favorite 70s rock & easy listening love ballads, there's the occasional "they just don't make music like this any more" comments like you never hear or read of the deep love that we of the 80s genre had. I'm sure they enjoyed their music too with a deep fondness but it just doesn't even come close to ours! Our music hit us body soul and spirit, and we knew it!!

So what?
Music has no gender, so ok.👍🏻👍🏻
Best sounds ever
Still loving their music in 2023. ❤
Rest in peace Steve Bronski
1 of a kind voice. 80s gem
Loooove Bronski Beat for their music and message. Never got tired of these tunes, and still play them on repeat. Vinyl dance party in the living room with the cat and my partner; got the CD in the car; also perfect at the roller rink! 💕
A voice unique in the world!
thanks for this master piece of great music, RIP Bronski, just continue Jimmy from Glasgow Scotland.
Best music ever 80s and 90s, just brings back so many amazing memories of my teens. Memories I will never forget.
This song gives me shivers. Jimmy is a genius!
Gay or not , great song and a great album , evocative of the 80's .
I’m agreeing with you, bro!
Gay ? Great !
Fuck u bros are inclusive good to see I've still got some inclusive bros hanging in the chat eeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Yes we dont care
I'm straight af but "The age of consent" is my favorite album ever. Paradoxically but a fact 😌
Give this gem a 4K upgrade!
Might listen to an album.
whoever you love is a personal choice, live as you choose and those who can,t handle it is their problem, not yours live a long free life!
I heard this song in Macy's the other day. It brought back good memories. I love this song!!!!!!!!
I feel old when I realise the hard core songs from this era I now hear at the supermarkets these days.
@@michaeltba9062 I'm into these hard core songs more now then I was then. So I don't feel old hearing these songs.
In 1984/85 I was 17/18 years old respectively and I used to start dancing automatically as soon as I heard this song play in a disco. I danced it many times.
Wow Mega Song aus den 80ign
Toller Rhythmus für Breakdance
Che meraviglia! Anni 80 ❤
Rest in peace Larry! My condolences go to your family and Bronski Beat!💐🕊❤
