This is an amazing video! Thank you for such a well-done review. I especially loved the Sriracha example-so funny!
Thanks Ivan!! About time haha!! Haha Sriracha shortage struggle is real! 😂😂
5:41 this combo is genius, damn 💀🔥
Great video Se! And glad to know Canada is saved 🍁
Haha thanks Mario! We're all, including Sirui, are secretly a fan of Canada. I am so glad they improved the maple leaf gobo!
Love the UA-cam setup, thoughtful scripting, and coloring. Very quality video. Subbed
Hey welcome to the channel! Much appreciated! 🙏
Hi, could you test the brightness to compare to the Spotlight SE 19 degree and 36 degree? thank you!
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Vu! 👊
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Awesome man i like that!!!! Great Video
Thanks Rick!! Really appreciate you checking it out. 🙏🙏🤜
@@SeParkDude i have the Nanlite Pj BM 36 Degrees and that thing lives on my C-Stand because of how extremely heavy that thing is this Sirui is looking very good 👍

are you planning to giveaway the old sirui projection unit? sign me up! 😅 great video as always Se! 💯
Haha I don't know Omar! You saw how hot it gets. I should probably open a studio at this point LOL. Great to see you here as always Omar!
Amazing video, thank you!
I appreciate that! Thanks!
will it work for strobe? how much clearance is there inside the main body for a flashtube? Probably not enough for a halogen/incandescent modeling lamp, but something like an AD400/600?
Good question Nick. I just measured it for you. It’s 3 inches exactly from the base of the mount. I don’t have an ad400/600 but assuming that’s too tight.
Can it rotate?
solid
man it looks like a compact heavy weapon😁
Thanks! So can we use it with a 300w light?
I used a 300w light at about 80% power but with “caution”. It depends on how hot the light runs even before the attachment. Always good to test before the shoot but I completely understand why Sirui lowered that number. Originally it was 300w. It’s because people like me. 😁
Cheers! 200w is a deal breaker for a lot of people i think
My main concern is how wide the 18° beam is on this one. I have a Neewer with a fixed 20° beam, but it doesn't seem wide enough in my small studio. The light effect doesn't cover the entire body over a distance of 20 feet, and when I want to create a window effect to the side of the model, 8 feet away, the effect is too small to achieve the look I'm going for. Hope u doing a video compare how wide is it from 18-36 of this one
I have a fairly small studio. My light source was about 10 ft in the talking head video here. I think you mean 36 degrees? For this model, the higher the number the wider the effect. 36 degrees was plenty large enough, and the room I'm working with is little less than 20 ft in length and the wall size is about 11ft. Hope that helps.
@@SePark yes i mean degree, thanks for infomation. that would be wide enough for me. could be upgrade for this one :D
Zoom lens produce less light. Even with 300w constant light, fix focal lens reduce the power by 1-2 stop, what more with the zoom lens. I'm using Ambitful AL-18 Pro, it's very light and I can attach a generic 0.43x wide angle lens filter to make the projection bigger.
Mr Park makes me want yet more gear I don’t need…or do I?
Haha this one is pretty cool tho! Or how about that little smoke machine? 😁 But that should be it for camera gear for next few weeks.
@@SePark can I be candid (excuse the pun) Mr Park? I don’t mean to go wee wees on anyone’s fireworks, but I did an experiment filming a miniature railroad layout. I used a vape and a high frame rate then slowed it down and got some really good results. Of course that cheap trick will only work on miniatures, but if your buying a mini smoke machine, your probably filming miniatures. I said miniatures far too many times, but you know what I mean.
@@StarWarsJay that's awesome! Haha I thought that might be up your alley. Vape works for miniatures. This one is between that and a big plug-in kind that can fill a whole room. I'm sure someone with a vape would say they can fill up the whole room too. LOL
@@SePark lol those same ones that make sure you know they’ve been vaping long before everyone else including you? 42 years old on a skateboard? I know him. He’s a real connoisseur 😂 You’re right about the smoke machine. It’s actually a nifty bit of kit.
I like how you're using trendy sayings in your reviews and dirty jokes lol
Awesome content ! But god ! That thing are expensive, i use a cheap 500 lumens acer hd Projector, i animate my shapes and colors in after effects (a la projection mapping) 🫣🫣
Oh that’s super cool! I’ll ask my wife if I can buy a projector. It’s for “work” 😁👏
