If my memory serves me correctly I remember Jeff Ward at the NEC Birmingham England riding a Kawasaki, I was wondering what all the fuss was about yes he was a good rider but this memory I will never forget. I'm pretty sure it was the penultimate lap Jeff was 3rd there was a long stretch of whoops leading into the last corner very tight he wound the wick up hit em flat out cleared the lot and somehow managed to square the corner off and wheelie over the finish line,,, bloody hell it was absolutely amazing no one else did that through out all the races Jeff went from being good to being GREAT what a rider RESPECT 👌👏👏
Starting technique in 1988. Butt off the seat for zero traction. Bow legs outward for zero bike control. Minimal bike contact is a must for great riding. lol
I bought an 88 CR125 in the winter/spring of 1995 as my first 125 when I was a young teen. I felt like I was on top of the world back then especially being a Honda guy. Congrats on the Bike and getting Married.
I was there bro Jack Murphy Stadium got tons of stickers track flags & 101 KGB FM 👍& Ricky Johnson's autograph at end of the race bitchin video post some more
Larry Huffman yelling "Who's going riding at Palm Avenue tomorrow?!?" was left out... best announcer ever!

The gear still looks better than the spandex that is current and popular right now. I guarantee it's more durable.
That ground was hard, no smooth landings like today.
