Amazing that you were able to document his process of this awesome commission. Humberto and his team, Joseph, etc. are truly a class act and have been very gracious to my some Ethan and I everytime we have had the opportunity to meet and talk with them. Then that he is using looks to be a Tombow Brushpen. Looks to be a hard brush. You can find them a Jetpens. Really nice pens.

usually comic book artist use bristol board smooth or pen &marker paper, also the markers are copic markers wide, copic also makes a sketch and whats called a the original and ciao markers its all your preference. The pen I dont know its name but you can find it on jetpens.com

The pens i don't know, but they look like any other fine tipped pen (both sakura micorons and faber castel pitt pens are great) what i do know for sure is that he is using copic markers. and the paper is probably some sorta bristle board. the only thing i have no clue on is the white pen he uses at the end. hope this helps

Those definately arent copics, because of the cylindrical shape. Copics are more of a squashed cylinder. I am not familiar with the copic ciao, though, so correct me if im wrong

Most, if not all, of the markers used to make this art by Humberto are Copics. I filmed this, so I can say with certainty that he used Copics. If you look closely at the video, you can even see that some of the markers say Copics right on them. Thanks.

George Sokolik only use markers Like Pigma Micron or Sharpy,i use it and looks that the same

Those are Copic Markers, and they're really choice these days when it comes to rendering your work.

In this specific case, it isn't an attempt to hide the hands. You can still see them under the pants.
