I drove a manual transmission car from 1989 to February 2023 and now drive an automatic. I will say that the last manual I had, and my second Mazda I owned was the 2015 Mazda 6. It was the most fun to drive manual I ever had. The CX30 turbo automatic I now have is the next best thing!
Mazda makes really fun to drive cars! A couple of weeks ago my dealership gave me a courtesy CX-30 while this one was being serviced and I thoroughly enjoyed driving it for a couple of days. Enjoy your car and be safe 😊
How you like your cx5? Anything you dislike or any annoyance you find about it? I know it a great car but no car is perfect and I always appreciate owners honest takes :)
I honestly love the car since it's the only crossover I could find with a manual transmission. The only thing I dislike about it is that the trim level is very basic (No keyless entry, Bluetooth connectivity), and it's very underpowered (Only around 155hp). But then again I can overlook those and enjoy a simple, reliable ride.
@@Semi-Driven sweet. Thank you. I’m considering this vs Honda HRV manual. Both seem similar but I supposed on paper these are different. I’m certain the CX5 is better except for convenience/entertainment ie no back up camera, no Bluetooth for MP3, and no easy aftermarket support.
@@edgaryzen4925 You won't go wrong with either one. Hondas are excellent cars too, especially the manual transmissions. I'd still pick the CX-5 though since I've fallen in love with mine. Also note that the CX-5 is made in Japan if that matters to you.
@@edgaryzen4925 I'm usually averaging around 30 MPG and it costs me about $55 to fill up the tank (California gas prices). I think you should go with the HRV if you can find a newer model. The last manual transmission CX-5 was from 2016 sadly.

What’s your average MPG and how much does it cost to fill up the tank? Still going back and forth between this and HRV 😅

I personally wouldn't consider it a problem. I'm just glad that I found a crossover with a manual transmission 😊

Because an automatic is more comfortable.
