If you haven't already I recommend adding the two extra factory speakers missing in the sport model that go in the corners of the dashboard. The wiring is already there for the stock speakers that came in the next level trim. I felt it made the sound system sound that much fuller and at a minimum cost and installation was a breeze since plug and play!
The maximum I've acheived is 35 mpg on a 500 mile trip, and that was going around 70 mph. You could potentially get more if you're light on the throttle and maintain 60-65, but I doubt this car would reach 40 mpg (unless you tailgate a semi-trailer truck lol).
