my crowning achievement is when in 9th grade on of my friends had a bluetooth speaker in the band bus and they disconnected it to let anyone play what they want so I connected to it without saying a word and they were all like "who connected to it?" and then I started playing the rick roll and someone was like "did we just get rick rolled?" and me and my friend i was sitting with were trying our hardest not to laugh out loud and i think my friend in the seat across the aisle saw us but he didn't say anything. it was amazing

@Elijah Kim It's down to going against your instinct to play good or correctly. Sometimes you might end up overshooting your suckiness and play something unbearably bad compared to accurately mimicking the rusty performance of someone inexperienced yet still genuinely trying.

just the way, in a movie, an actor can play the role of a 'horrible actor' , which is tricky, coz he himself will be considered a good actor only if he can pull off the "bad actor" role, in which case he'll have to pretend to be a bad actor, which reflects that he's a good actor

I get he doesn’t have perfect pitch and of course he will be off sometimes without the music sheets like you said but I’m a 100% sure in that part he did it completely intentionally because he was trying to be loyal to the meme. This comment is about that part, he really was struggling not using his violin correctly and that just shows how good of a violinist he is!
